This is an absolute must-see! Two museums and gift shops side-by-side with the best and oldest antiques you've ever seen in glass displays. Admission is free!

This is a wonderful museum filled with so many historic artifacts and memories and it is free. It also has a nice gift shop and welcome center with area menus, brochures and maps. We ate at the Tellico Grains Bakery just down the street and it had outdoor picnic tables and it was an overall beautiful day. Waterfalls and scenic drives are nearby also.

This is again a new place for me to visit. This establishment was a very informative museum inside of it in which was awesome history and thro back in time, they also had a little store inside of to do a little gift shopping that was very nice. I enjoyed my visit here very much.

The Charles Hall Museum named after its original creator . Is a museum with over 330 historical guns dating back to 1776. Antique coins and money, native American tools, arrowheads pottery, historical pictures. Museum also has lots and lots of antique telephones and switchboard. A moonshine still a 1934 Restored Plymouth, 1922 Model T. There's something for everyone. We'll worth the scenic travel to Tellico Plains.

This brought a flood of memories to my mind. Charles Hall and my Grandfather Price were good friends. There is even a showcase of part of the gun collection that belonged to my grandfather! Had a nice conversation with a older lady there that knew him before he passed in 1995. Lots of memories on this trip! Here is the picture of him in the case and his gravestone! I was actually in town to fix grandma Prices headstone. Love this little town!

I found this museum and the one in the building to the northeast of it very interesting. The prices in this store are lower than the visitor's center.

If you ride through Tellico Plains, this is a must stop location. It is all about the history of this area. One of the two buildings has a history of telephone equipment and the other has all types of fire arms with other interesting things intermixed between. All of this for a donation of your choice. Hard to beat!

My husband and I absolutely love Tellico Plains and had never stopped at the museum and welcome center until this past weekend. I'm so very impressed by the wonderful collection of antiques and artifacts! The two ladies that we met were amazing, as they were so passionate about the history of Tellico Plains and the wonderful families that have called it home. We did have our 4 year old and our 7 year old with us and they LOVED the stories and the memorabilia as well. There was no charge, but I highly suggest a donation or a purchase from the WONDERFUL gift shops on your way out. It's supporting a wonderful place, amazing people, and preserving our history of Appalachia.

This was such a cool little museum. They had so many items to look at like guns, phones, autos, and interesting facts as well. I would highly recommend a visit as there are two separate museums.

Cool cool displays of yesteryear. From collections of coin and paper money , toy tractors and trucks , guns and ammo , Indian artifacts , antique radios and TVs , to pictures and photos of the lifetime and styles of Tellico Plains. Much more to see than I've listed. We'll be going back again. Free admission but donations are welcome and appreciated.
