I was so happy when Ace Hardware opened in tazewell. It's so convenient. The staff is extremely helpful and they have just about everything you could need. It's such a pleasure to shop there instead of the big box stores.

If you ever have time to stop in this ace hardware, you’re going to have experience of the old Time hardware stores, but with the modern look. The gentleman that helped me find everything I needed. Musta knew this store, like the back of his hand, because all I had to do was tell him what I needed, and he took me straight to it. I was very surprised how quick he was and how quick he was able to help me find the stuff that I needed and didn’t know I needed.

SOMETIMES they have what you need. It's really a hit or miss. I do wish they would train their employees better. A employee got visibly and verbally upset when not knowing how to run the cash register. Along with making us uncomfortable this prolonged our checkout time.

There isn't a store that I know of that has nicer, more helpful staff than at Old Town Ace. Once you are in there a couple times, they will remember your face and always welcome you every time you walk in the door. Great group of people!

I absolutely love the store, I had a hard to find item and found it at Ace. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend everyone to visit the store . It has a large selection of items and l was relieved to find what l needed . And when l called beforehand l got the store owner and he was so friendly .he took time to talk with me . Customer service is 5 star; I don't know how it compares to other hardware stores tbh. Someone approached me to help and I described what I needed and they had me out with the correct items in less than five minutes, perfection.

I had back surgery and needed some things from Ace Hardware and I wear a back brake the manager was at the front and I told her that I couldn't walk all over to get what I needed she called for Tony and he took the time to get my items and even showed me 2 different filters so I could get the the one I wanted they were so helpful and so nice they were so great in helping meSome places would not take the time to help me and I am so grateful .

Good place for all sorts of Hardware, tools and some building materials I was most impressed with their selection of bolts, screws, washers and nuts this selection revivals or surpasses the big box stores.Best of all they are open on weekends when I'm off of work and need materials around the house and farm so stop by check them out and I'm sure you'll be pleasantly satisfied

A great local place to get all of the hardware, gardening and shop stuff you need. Wonderful prices, guarantees and fast and friendly service makes this place stand above the rest. I go there for something almost once a week! Way better than the other "hardware" stores in town.

I was all excited to go into the newAce Hardware store in Tazewel.Just to see a new store full of cool stuff. Well I was disappointed ☹️.I looked around for a lil while to see if I could find the stuff I was looking for. During that time no one approached me to see if I needed help soo I went looking for it. Which was not easy to do. I saw this gentleman walking past my isle so I grabbed him & unfortunately I think I got Mr. Grumpy pants. No smile,no how u doing or what can I do for you.He looked like theUnhappiest man in the world. I did manage to get a few lil things that I purchased. Well I found out that supposedly the stuff I really wanted was out of stock . The only thing is I don't think I will ever be going back.... Sorry Ace Hardware u really disappointed me.

I try to shop the smaller businesses first. If it's the weekend in this area, though, the small businesses are closed or open limited hours, leaving this as the next best choice, for a short drive.
