I have been going to this Walgreens for years and never had anybody being rude until today (2/11/2024 around 10:30 in the morning, if this matters at all) . I was ready to check out and I was waiting for the cashier to come to the register and when she came she was so mad I told her I was doing two separate transactions and she gave me an evil look, she probably was working on something else and was mad that she had to stop what she was doing, I honestly tried my best to not say anything to her but it really made me mad I wish they had self check out so we don’t have to deal with that kind of attitude.

I get over stimulated every time I enter this store. The male cashier will leave his motion detector up which sends a loud notification out every 20 seconds or so to terrorize his manager because apparently she terrorizes him. This man is in his 40s…. They play petty games among the staff that irritates customers and then he wants to gossip and chat forever as you ring up. Some days I don’t mind him, other days I want to tell him to please stop talking. I have cut my time short shopping in this store several times because of the constant door bell going off meant to annoy management but instead annoys customers. The pharmacy is rude and has no tact. One of the guys there loudly said a controlled substance I am prescribed out loud while a line of people stood behind me as if I didn’t know the name of the medication I’ve taken for over 14 years. Bathrooms are always disgusting. This store is in decay. At least when Dixie and Taletha ran it, it was clean (I worked there as a teenager. I am now 34).

I went to Walgreens today to pick up medication. They told me that the Dr. should have called first because they didn’t have it. He told me I would have to call around and get it. He wouldn’t even finish his sentences because he was so worried about closing the window because it was lunchtime. I understand they work hard but I have Covid. I don’t feel like calling everywhere so I had to call friends to help me When I called Walmart in Sweetwater they found it at another Walgreens in Athens why couldn’t he have found this? This could have been done in just a few minutes. But he wouldn’t take the time because he was more interested in lunch. I hope he never works if that window again and if he continues, I will quit coming.

Pharmacy is very rude and non helpful, had a prescription sent there they said they were out of stock to basically go find it at another Walgreens. When I live local and have Covid and strep I’m not going to Athens or Loudon to hope they have it in stock. Gave me a hard time sending it to Walmart as well. Both ladies were very rude.

Sweetwater pharmacy staff really need to develop a better customer relations attitude and be less rude. It's frustrating trying to manage prescriptions there. Also, they keep losing our insurance information. It doesn't make sense.We used the Farragut location for two decades where everyone was always pleasant and treated us with respect. They managed our prescriptions and insurance without issues.Update: After 3 years, the Sweetwater pharmacy staff has not improved. They continue to have less than professional attitudes. We've had to have prescriptions transferred to the Farragut Walgreens several times (partly because we have used them for so long, and partly because it is within the distance of work, etc.) The customer service there is top notch!

Please if you can help it do NOT go to this pharmacy I have been going for awhile now and it's nothing but headaches every time some weeks it's ok to get my meds and other weeks there at little stipulations attached they staff and manager HATE people who get narcotics from there they judge and give you a hard time AVOID this Walgreens and go somewhere else I don't think it's a Walgreens problem as much as its the rotten judgemental staff that works at this location

I wish I could give them less than one star.Every month the jerk us and give us the run around getting my sons meds filled.Today takes the cake after telling me they could not fill his meds on Thursday and him going to the dr for a refill when he already have refills on his profile. They said that they needed ins to approve it and it being a Sunday he would have to wait again. So I did get frustrated and I rate on the phone with them and they call my wife to tell her they would fill it but it would be generic witch is no problem. I went to pick it up and they charged me the med cost of the meds with out ins and with ins-around 400$ with only a receipt for the 7 dollar charge given to me. Save yourself a headache and a half and never do business with them.They say one thing and do another

I have had my meds filled through this Walgreens for years!!! Today my doctor called in my medication and Walgreens pharmacy said they won't fill my meds, that I have to have them moved to Madisonville. I was given no reason why!

Was having trouble locating an item and had to ask for assistance. The actual pharmacist came from behind the counter to help me find it and then proceeded to answer all my questions, as well as give me some info i didn't know but definitely needed to know. So the customer service is exceptional. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the prices. Walgreens is always so so so much more expensive than almost anywhere else you can shop. Maybe it's worth it for customer service that good!

Sweetwater Walgreens Customer Service skills really needs improvement. Especially at the pickup window. Customers needs to be professionally greeted and a "Thank You" would be nice as well There are three excellent pharmacists who are very helpful. Emily Lindsey and Teresa...ask for them.

Never in my life have I dealt with such a rude staff. The customer service in the pharmacy is beyond unacceptable. From hanging up on me to throwing my coin change in the drive thru drawer to filling the wrong the dosage on my medication. I have been given someone else's medication after verifying my name, birthdate, and address. I have used Walgreens for years in 3 different states and I have never had such a horrible experience as I have with the one in Sweetwater, TN. Yes I have spoken with management to no avail. I will be calling her again tomorrow.

Attention Regional, District, store and pharmacy managers of the Walgreens’s Pharmacy Store #10066, in Sweetwater, Tennessee. Someone needs to perform a serious inquiry into the practices of the pharmacy. Each month is undo stress and frustration when trying to get a prescription filled. It should not be this difficult. I’ve found that the Walgreens app and actually calling the prescription in via the automated system is problematic. The only effective way to get a prescription filled is to call and ask to speak directly to the pharmacist. The most recent incident I’m frustrated about happened on Sunday September 5th, 2021. My elderly Mother filled a monthly standing prescription that is a quantity of 90 each month. When she returned home, she didn’t open the bag until it was needed on Sunday evening. Instead of there being the usual quantity of 90, there was a quantity of 150. The pharmacy closed at 6:00pm. That means for four remaining work hours, the staff working on the 5th was unaware of this huge error. It went overlooked and unnoticed. We tried to call the pharmacy and leave a message regarding this situation to right the wrong. We were again delayed in getting this issue resolved due to the closure for Labor Day. This oversight is 100% on the staff. The Sunday staff didn’t catch this. Walgreens should be apologetic, appreciative, and grateful that my Mother has integrity and returned the prescription first thing Tuesday morning. I was shocked when I spoke to her after returning the 60 extra pills. She said they acted like it wasn’t a big deal. I’m sure people will say, why don’t you simply go to another pharmacy? Well, Sweetwater is a rural area, and some of the medications that are needed can only be filled with Walgreens.

This was the worse experience i have had at a pharmacy. because my pharmacy was out i was sent here to pick it up. It was the rudest lady and embarassed me so much. My illness put me in the situation were i had lost my voice almost completely and the lady behind the counter made me out to be a freak and couldn't help me cause i didnt have my prescription card. Although my pharmacy had sent over EVERYTHING that was needed. For the very reason because I couldn't talk. But she couldnt add me to the system. So i had to sit there and try to explain with no voice. I was embarrassed and upset.

Check out your prescription prices online first at RX Saver app or other sites and compare prices before you fill your prescription at Walgreens or other pharmacies.You might be surprised how ripped off you might be by Walgreens. The staff that works there deserve 5 star review but Walgreens as a company a 0.Wife's generic blood pressure medication was $100, at Walmart it was $4.00They wanted $700 for my medication as insurance would not cover it. There was an online coupon for $150 for Walgreens but the same medication was $20 at Walmart without a coupon. Is that not a total ripoff???? This was generic medication as well.I am not glorifying Walmart by any means. I am telling you to check online first as it will show you all the different prices in the area, and you will be surprised by the difference in different pharmacies.Once Walmart wanted $380 for antibiotics, when I said i am not going to get them because of the cost, they mysteriously found a coupon and I paid only $20 for the order. Like a flee market, oh too much, let me look for a lower priceLisinopril is $35 at Walgreens, $10 at WalmartRipoff pharmacy, you should want your clients to save and offer coupons upfront, yourself, but all you want is as much $ as you can get , shameWal-zyr,generic for zyrtec is $ 27 for 70 tablets, Walmart brand the same thing,same ingredient $$27 for 180 tabletsThe reviews below are exactly how I feel. Don't go to the Walgreens Pharmacy Sweetwater for your Covid 19 vaccine. The staff's attitude was that it is totally unrealistic for me to assume that they should have a 2nd dose vaccine available when I arrived for my 'scheduled appointment'. If they can't provide the 2nd dose, then don't give the first dose!

Wouldnt even give this a star because of the pharmacy. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. Dont give you the time of day then after you get mad over being disrespected they make you the problem. The pharmacist manager discriminated me because of my medications. Said she would tell corporate what medicines I was on then it would all be okay. I actually have the video of it. I can post if anyone wants to see.

The pharmacy itself is fine. Typical wait for prescription refills. Very nice store, very clean. However, circus monkeys could run the photo lab better. I never get things printed there anymore, I drive the extra distance to Madisonville. The Sweetwater store's photo machines print so dark. Photos are WAY darker than they should be. At first I thought it was a fluke but then I sent the same photos to Madisonville and they printed perfectly. More than once they have messed up my photo books I ordered. Once they left a page in that was not intended to be in the book and their only solution was to just cut it out with scissors instead of making it again. It just wasn't very professional. Another time I went in to pick them up after it had been about 3 hours and they weren't ready. They said to come back in an hour so I waited around town, went back and they said that they couldn't complete them. They'd run out of the paper for the books. No time in that hour span did they think to call me and let me know. Total waste of time.
