I had previously used another clinic that was closer to hope for my pets. I wanted to switch to SVC after hearing how great they were. I first took my GR puppy in for his neuter and we had a great experience with that.Months later I brought my almost 13 year old diabetic cat in because he was acting very out of character and not doing well. The receptionist were very kind and we had a short wait time. The techs were in promptly and the doctor was in very quickly after being assessed by the tech. Dr. Lauren was phenomenal in checking him over, running some tests, and giving us a treatment plan. Elizabeth, one of the techs there, was so wonderful in helping guide us throughout his treatment. This will be our primary clinic from now on; they really care for their patients + families.Overall they are very kind, compassionate, and mindful of each patients situation. I would recommend them to anyone!

Every single time I have gone here, I've gotten nothing but the best service. From multiple surgeries to wellness visits, they are always there. The service is fast but not rushed. The staff is respectful and they do truly care about my animals and it never has mattered which provider. Dr. Ogle has known my dogs the longest and is very familiar with their particular conditions, and that I am grateful for. When my dogs went missing, they were happy to post a flyer and also ask about their well being once they returned. I will use this vet with all of my dog that I have now. And all of the ones that I have in the future. Because they truly do provide a great service for a good price. Everyone there is empathetic, well-mannered, and professional. I used to go to a vet in Athens who handled my animals' care entirely poorly and after that baby passed away, I transferred those services and I will never go back. I don't even live in sweetwater and I haven't been a long time but it is well worth a little drive.

My little one had never been there before. Our regular vet was closed for the weekend. She woke me up on Friday night with a bad case of vertigo. They got her right in Saturday morning, and Dr. John was great with her!!!

They were amazing my mom was unable to take her dog to regular vet he goes to they wouldn't fit him in which I don't agree with since he's been going there awhile but sweetwater vet fit him in and they were very kind about it thank you for helping with my moms dog so she didn't stay up worrying all night!

Took my dog for testing on several occasions, but she was sick. She had Stage 4 kidney failure and had to put her down. They were very professional and the cremation memorial package was excellent. They turned a sad time into one of compassion and understanding. This was mid March of 2020. Unfortunately her sister is now deceased from the same disease. I pick up her remains and memorial package Friday. I was there crying and American Idol contestant Drake McClain happened to be there and sung a song for my dog and hugged me. Awesome Angel of a young man is he!

All staff members are very kind and engaging with my furry friends. Treatment plans are discussed and decisions are made between the veterinarian and pet owner. No high-pressure sales. While overseas they were able to work with my dog sitter to renew my dog’s prescription.

My one star is only because Google requires a rating. In honesty, I wouldn't recommend this vet provider to treat a stuffed animal. Our experience has been horrific, with 2 different vets providing horrible "care" to our young puppy. We will never be back.

So my dog is very ill, and isn't eating her dry food. I contacted my vet who is an hour away and asked about getting her prescription in a canned food ASAP. They told me they could fax it to Sweetwater Veterinary Hospital so I could pick it up since they were near my house.I CALLED SWEETWATER VET HOSPITAL TO CONFIRM that they were indeed ok with selling me some cans of rx dog food for my dog in need (some vets aren't ok with this because they "need an exam" which is vet speak for "we want to squeeze as much money out of you as possible"). They confirmed that it was totally fine and I can drop by as soon as they get the fax from my vet.So I dropped by that afternoon to pick up the food, at which point I was told WE'RE NOT A PHARMACY, WE ONLY GIVE FOOD TO OUR PATIENTS. Nevermind that they had already confirmed earlier that they could.So they left me with a sick dog with no food because they were too arrogant to honor their word.Thankfully, Monroe County Animal Hospital was able to help me out and sold me a couple of cans to get me by even though it was the very end of the day. Go there, DO NOT GO TO THESE PEOPLE! THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY AND DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR ANIMAL!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Absolutely, above and beyond, impressed with this veterinarian office! I was not a client here, but they fit my little dog in because he was not feeling well. The staff was incredibly friendly and really seemed to care. They were not pushy about the available options, and my dog has started eating again and is already starting to perk up! Would recommend this veterinarian office to anyone!!!

i would give 5 stars but the vet didnt even touch my dog.she had no interaction with her at all so my dog didnt get the help she needs.the women at the front desk are great.i give them 5 stars

I LOVE DR LISA OGLE. SHE AND HER STAFF HAS ALWAYS BEEN WONDERFUL TO OUR LITTLE CHIHUAHUA SNICKERS SINCE SHE WAS A WEEK OLD.SHE HAS SAVED HER LIFE SEVERAL TIMES AND WE ARE SO THANKFUL FOR HER. SHES A GREAT VET AND PERSON. ALWAYS TREATS US RIGHT AND OUR FUR BABY THANK U DR OGLE AND STAFF .GOD BLESS

We have a rescue shih tzu & she had some serious issues (badly infected ears, extremely sensitive skin, food allergies, chronic dry eye (which will be ongoing). The vets & staff at Sweetwater Vet Hospital are wonderful, caring people. Never feel rushed; they take as long as needed & everything is explained thoroughly. Have no complaints at all. Highly recommend. They listen to pet - owner thoughts & suggestions also.We lost our 1st shih tzu rescue on June 7. Our new rescue is an 8yr old miniature tzu who was a breeder dog - very timid - not comfortable with men especially. Maxwell will be taken care of by Dr. Lisa the same as Gracie was. Dr. Lisa was always so very caring of Gracie who had more numerous issues. Wouldn't think of going to any other facility or vet. The staff of this facility are great also. Max is 1st pic and Gracie is 2nd.

Took my pup down to for a "spa day", they took excellent care of her. Great people to deal with, caring, well staffed. Good prices also. Although my pup is kinda shy, she did well, and they did all they could to make her feel "at home". Highly recommended! My "go to" place for vet services.....

I don’t think I could ever find a more wonderful vet than Dr. Lisa. Not only is she super smart, but she is kind and empathetic. She worked within my budget to help my kitten. She has also taken care of my dogs and I know they are in the best hands. Not only that, the whole staff is amazing and they get you in asap. Such a wonderful experience everytime I go.

We are RVing for 6 months. While traveling down rt 75 in TN. We stopped at a KOA in sweetwater. When we asked about a nearby vet to help our dog, the camp staff highly recommended Sweetwater Vetinary Hospital. They were able to get us in the same day, more than addressed our old spaniels needs, and the staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.Super happy, great experience.

We had a real positive visit there. Our cat had UTI with small amount of blood. Veterinary was terrific. After 3 days our kitty was doing much better but still taking meds. Would highly recommend this office.

I took my dog in for a injury to her leg that happened over the weekend (11:30pm Saturday night.) Staff was very rude and insisted I let me dog sit for almost a week with no vet care despite I have picture evidence and she was showing 7 days ago. Vet still insisted I was wrong and was very unpleasant to speak to. Upon pickup, staff was unpleasant. Will not take my dogs back and trusting them with the care of my babies.

We are out of towners traveling through to vacation and had an emergency, we couldn’t have asked for a better vet to happen upon. They were absolutely great and so very kind to us. And we so appreciated them being willing to see us. Thank you!! I actually wish we didn’t live 2 hours away or I would absolutely make this my regular vet.

Staff is always friendly . My fiance and take our dogs to the vet there, as well as use their boarding services often . The only negative is sometimes a lack of communication on boosters and meds given. Like one time I was given /paid for separate heartworm pills when my dog was already on a advantage multi which includes it. Stuff like that needs improvement but other than that it's good 👍

Dr Katy and the staff were amazing . our poodle went down in her back... took her to Chatt and was sent home with meds... next day we went to UT and sat for 8 hours for nothing. Hubby had a heart attack the next day and things were crazy!!. His nurse the next day recommended this place. I called immediately and the staff got me in. They all were wonderful,including Dr Katie!!! With everything going on we decided to put our puppy in there care. Today has been week 3 and she got to come home. She isn't 100 percent but so so much better then she went in. They called me daily with update.. hubby got to go visit with her for an hour everyday. She was well taken care of and the staff was always amazing!! We mentioned laser and a few days later they started it for us. And for the cost, everyone is expensive but I don't mind paying for it when we got the care we needed!! My dogs will always go there.. went today and got there records from there old vet!! Highly recommend this place for your fur babies!!!
