I put credit card in incorrect slot for payment. I could not retrieve my card. I gave clerk my phone number and left. A little later, Courtney called. She and Ashley had been able to retrieve my card!!!! They were both so helpful! Dollar General Store Store #9844, Courtney and Ashley did a super job - awesome customer service!!!!

Dollar General is a great place to grab minor grocery items, find some cute kids clothing, and sometimes cute adult clothing, too. Prices are always good, friendly staff. Parking can be a bit tight if you park in front, but plenty if parking at the side if the store.

I think this is a good Dollar General but there are some problems.they always seem to be understaffed and the store us always dusty. I don't like that the stock sits in the in the aisles where I am trying to look at products. I don't really appreciate employees smoking right in front of the door either not that but have only seen it once but was unhappy when I did

They are just a mess they never have anything on shelfs there are always boxes everywhere all the time no matter what time of day it is. It really is a safety hazard. They have all the boxes full of product but they never restock the shelfs with them.

Love the Dollar General. Have great prices, and most always have the items I need. Great sales and love the app. Always have great coupons. And the store itself always seems to have good customer service.

Usually there's a line one register open unless it's backed up into the aisles, then someone magically appears. This is the case with all DG stores though. It is cheap and the only real "store" in Surgoinsville out of the convenience store has station realm.

This is a great storeThey have a very large cold and frozen food isle. And quite a selection of everything else. The clerk was very helpful. I really appreciate this store.

The Dollar General store in Church Hill needs some major TLC. This store is a big mess and always carts n boxes sitting everywhere. It's a accident waiting to happen. It's very cluttered and needs cleaned up. Why is this DG not like the others that was remodeled? Someone needs to give it a facelift to.

It's the surgoinsville Walmart. It has a little bit of everything you need and alot of stuff you don't. But if your in surgoinsville it's the closest you'll get without going to Rogersville or Kingsport to a decent big box stores.

I don't understand why they build all the stores alike then try to cram 2 stores worth of merchandise into one. Good prices but always too crowded.

They charged us a price that was suppose to be half then when we didnt want it didnt void it.. Had i not saw my reciept i wouldve gave dollar general $10.

There are a couple of clerks there that need to stop preaching and giving out medical advice to the customers. If customers choose not to wear a mask then the clerk should be thankful they have theirs on. You're losing a lot of customers because of them.
