Always carts everywhere in the aisle, never no one at the register, they are always outside smoking. Assist Manger is rude to customers and talks to customers about other employees. I will be going elsewhere from now on, suggested to everyone to avoid that store if possible

Could not get any one to check me out. One man just walk out with what he had because no one was at the check out. Finally saw a lady and boy in the back of storage room talking. I told her the man just walk out with what he had, and she said they do it all the time. I said well no one was there to check him out. Not every one uses self check out, and by the way we don’t get paid to check ourself out. If you can’t get anyone to help and check out your customers you probably need to close the door

I have been going to this dollar general literally everyday for the last 3 years, it's convenient especially if I forgot to grab something for dinner, it's not even a minute from my house. I used to love all the employees that worked there, knew them by name. Ever since the new SM has taken over I do my best not to stop in there, I will drive 20 minutes up the road if I have to get alot. It used to be clean, now nothing is hardly is stock when I go in there or it's closed because the SM doesn't feel like opening until 2pm and then closes at 7pm. Where's the SM boss???????

I worked for this company for over a year and loved my customers/co-workers, up until we got a new manager. The new manager was given multiple chances by my staff to prove she was responsible enough to meet the requirements that that position required. But after working for her for a few days it was clear she did not meet those expectations. She had previously walked out and quit 2 other DG's, but somehow got put in the position to be a manager of a store??A manager for my team's store which was running perfectly fine before she was placed there without any of us knowing until the day she walked in. After talking with my regional manager (Matt Picklesimer) and informing him of my team's concerns & issues with her, customer complaints, and many other issues, it was clear he didn't care. He cared more about saving every penny he could because it was clear she was the cheaper option.My whole team quit, including myself, within 5 days of the new manager's first day. He lost one great team that loved working there, loved their customers, and considered that store our second home. But when my whole team walks out and quits "it isn't fine". But it is perfectly okay for a girl to quit a company twice by throwing her keys in??Glad to know what kind of regional manager Dollar General allows to represent their company. It is clear they only care about saving money and not having good employees who represent the company's name well. I hope losing my whole team (7 of us) was worth it. As Matt said himself "Good Luck". Good luck to the company because treating employees like this will not get you very far.I’m going to miss seeing our regulars and co-workers that we considered family. But I will not work for a company who treats its employees this way. We’ve all said it once and I’ll say it again Bethany Strahler deserved that managers position!

I love the store and the employees the reason I gave it a 4-star is because I love their Clover Valley corn chips and it took them several days to get them put out on the Shelf. That's really just because they're short-staffed other than that it is a great store and environment.

I'm not sure what's up with this store, but it needs some serious attention. It's not much of an convenience when there is no stock on the shelves. The rank and file employees are always nice, when the shelves are bare, with stock that is ALWAYS on rolling pallets, blocking the aisles, then I'm guessing it's management.It sucks too, because this store is literally two minutes from the house, but it's absolutely worth the drive to go to the 4-way Inn location, instead. There, the shelves are full and nothing is blocking the aisles.

their pricing here is ridiculous all other dollar generals had Christmas candy at 50 percent off but not this one they expect you to know what's on sale and what isn't they say it's a corporate store I wouldn't shop no where corporate they rip people off and give give any price breaks

Terrible place to go if you wanna pay the price they advertise on the shelf they are five months behind on changing they're shelf tags out need new management if that's the way they are running the atore

Like I have said before about the same dollar store.we (well, the wife)is attached to a couple of the guys that work there.and the reason that she's attached to them is because they were raised right and they're very very helpful ,very respectable ,young man.my wife said I'll be in the store and I can hear Jake being so nice ,extra nice to every customer he has even when he's having a bad day. And that is what it takes to work in customer service.

Went into the store to purchase a few items and find the whole store cluttered around every aisle and some aisles are completely blocked for access you would have to squeeze if u can fit your body thru but most could not. Then there is only one cashier or employee in the whole store and me and a few other customers chatted about how bad the store was beginning to get and I have decided to go elsewhere to another location up from my home in the opposite direction.

The employees are really nice but the shelves stay empty. I don't know who is supposed to stock them, but they aren't doing their job.The aisles are always full of merchandise. Need to be a new manager.

This is one of many dollar stores that I frequently visit. This dollar store always had the only kind of milk that my 6yr old grandson will drink. The pain patches that I use on a daily basis are always in stock, to my convenience. Plus they are cheaper at the dollar stores. I really like that. Save a Dollar whenever you can.

I actually like this little store. I live pretty much across the road from the 1 on Rutledge pike (by East Knox Elem.) but will drive across the bridge to go tò this 1. But that's mostly because of the store cleanliness an also, nio, mostly because the 1 on Rutledge pike has the most horrible customer service I've seen at a Dollar General in a very long time. They are quite rude at that 1 an forget it if you need any kind of help on the floor. There store is also a mess most of the time. With carts an merch sitting every where. I certianly understand if there's not enough to ring up customers AND put out stock. Mgt is at fault there. But when you've got even 3 working, thats MORE than enough, honestly!

I really like this store but gave it only 3 stars because they never have enough employees to help customers . I visit this store a lot seems to have a hight turnover and I can see why . The store itself is very nice . It has recently been updated , always clean and convenient.

This Dollar general was clean and orderly loved it didn't have boxes laying down every isle blocking customers from walking and seeing what is on the shelf. Will keep going to this Dollar general easy too spot from the road.

This store is falling apart. For weeks the isles have been filled with merchandise carts to the point that there is more product waiting to be stocked than is actually on the shelves. You can barely get through the store.

Shelves are always empty. Stock in boxes in bins on floor. Can't buy what you need that way. They always run out of milk. You would think order extra don't run out

A DG is a DG is a DG, no matter where I've been in the country. But THIS is my local, right up the road DG and I honestly love them, lol. It's their employees. While turnover in budget retailers is high this store keeps quality, friendly, hardworking employees. That's NOT always the same at every DG. So if you're in this area, I think you'll be pleased if you need to stop here.

It was open when I needed dog food late at night when the other one three miles up the street was closed due to Staffing Solutions they need to get straightened out up there in Straw Plains the one at restaurant is a good store it is full of all kinds of stuff anything you need or want

Went there because they hugely advertise that they do western union yet I got there and the lady at the counter had no idea what that was. I waited almost 10 mins for help. Just yo get told no they didn't do western union at this time cuz only one person employed there knew how. All 3 employees working were very rude.

Pretty good store, especially for a Dollar General. Well-stocked and clean. Always have friendly staff.
