In 2022 I stopped by this modified caboose turned,”The C.B. Shop” looking for a radio. I explained to Swamp Dog what I was looking for and without hesitation and three worthy hours of wait time he pieced together a reborn Galaxy 44v. I paid a fair price with all the work he did and the good quality of radio he provided. I was very pleased and I hope to stop by there again someday for a radio checkup.

I've tried calling all morning today, and it rings 4 times, then goes to an automated system to type in a phone number, which is for their phone settings. There's no way to leave a message, since they do not have that set up. The owner says in a response to a previous review that his cell number is posted on the window. I get here, and look. That's a lie. Also, the place is locked up tight, and no one around. I'm still here having lunch, then leaving. It is 12:09, and I got here 30 min ago. I will never ever come back. I'll stick with the shops that I've been going to for years.

The owner of The C.B. Shop ( Swamp Dog) is the nicest and sweetest and easy going and reasonable person I have ever encountered. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for fixing, cleaning , and peaking my “virgin” cobra 29 classic that I bought about seven years ago. I am so grateful that you were open late when I was coming through Memphis considering I had gone all day without my Cb working properly in my car. I was glad that I was not escort a truck when it decided to go out on me. So now she is prestinely clean, peaked and tuned with a new external chrome speaker, new antenna, and a brand new Astatic mic!!! And the mic was courtesy of the swamp dog! I wish you and your daughters sir the happiest of holidays this year! And I assure you the next time I am out here in Memphis or in the area you definitely receive a visit from me along with a tin of butter cookies!! Thank you again so so so much sir.

This man knows what he’s doing but takes little time be patient with him or call the number on my picture to get more information from him, price is affordable and good quality equipmentAlso it’s a nice rail wagon shop very well located at pilot travel truck stop easy access, but no wheel chair access that people who looking for service

Swamp Dog is the cb man to go to for just about everything with them. Sadly though, I parked and tried to go inside to speak to him at 930 am this morning. I tried again at 1050 am. I know that his truck was parked out front, so I thought that he should be there but nothing. The barred door was unlocked, but the yellow door going inside was locked. He sadly didn't answer any phone calls. Hopefully next time I get time to come by, he is here and isn't too busy.

We had our CB completely fixed last night and had a great experience. The gentleman who owns this shop is very kind and knows what he's doing. What a great experience at a very reasonable price! Thanks so much for your service and your stories!FTR, I can't believe actual drivers would leave such nasty reviews, so I'm assuming the bad reviews are hobbyists or RVers-SAD!This man runs this shop by himself and stays open when there is driver need, so yes, his hours may not reflect exactly when he is there or when he is closed. So glad to have found this shop along one of our delivery routes!

Took him 8 hrs to help me. Needed to take out my old radio and buy a new one and have it tuned and ready for set up. I took out the old radio myself and installed the new one. But 8 hrs to peak and tune the old and new one? I understand he's the only one working all the time and he's constantly having customers come in and out but don't put your customer on the back burner just because they're gonna do a 10 hr break. He made me lose 8 hrs of sleep for an hour long job. However, he was helping, respectful and very reasonable with pricing. We actually negotiated prices. I appreciate his dedication to the job and how he goes out of his way to help drivers and staying long past normal operating hours.But please SwampDog, don't let me lose 8 hrs of sleep and learn to balance out helping your current customer at hand and others coming in more better. I'm not telling you how to do your job. Just a friendly recommendation. And as I stated, you did a wonderful job. And I will be back. But please, if you're already helping me, don't have me waiting literally all night.

I have dealt with Swamp dog over 15 years. " He's in this business to make a living like everyone else is. He also enjoys his occupation as a cb technician. I've got a Cobra 29 that has a high powered mossfit final and a turbo board in it . I usually get out maximum of 45 miles with it. Has about 65 watts.He also worked on a uniden bearcat 980 which I talked on over 200 miles on skip actually to him same day of service. From Lebanon TN. 840 exit 67 to his shop. It was skip but sounded like he was beside me . He now has my General HP 40 w . Which is a good radio to be peaked and tuned. Guys it's the 4th of July and a busy time for him and everyone else. Have a little patience with him. He's only one man. It's not a drive through fast food McDs". His work is worth the wait.

Swamp Dog is a good man. He did a super tune on my brand new Cobra 29 and got my swr straight. He knows what he's doing, and prices good! Top notch service. It's true his hours are hit or miss sometimes but it's worth your time to call him and wait. My 29 with a cheap antenna gets out 10 miles no problem after his work.

Stopped in with my Dad and Sister. We Needed some CB’s and some equipment for a new truck purchased. The Swamp Dog was very knowledgeable about everything he sold us and even made suggestions as to how everything should be ran. He sat down and helped us the best he possibly could because he knew we were crunching time to leave back to Kansas. We appreciate the quick work and the great tips.

Great guy , be patient he is a one man operation. Great work couldn't be happier with me set up. Don't go looking for cheap or that's what you will get. $550 well spent. Radio two antenna aux cord. Very knowledgeable person. Big boy radios !

Stopped by two days in a row trying to get my stuff fixed and working properly they wouldn't touch anything. The second time I was here I waited for over 3 hours and he helped other customers after I was there for a couple of hours waiting for him to fix my stuff. I was put on the back burner so I'm going to take my business elsewhere and won't be back here.

Walked in only 1 person in there. He told me to wait because he had to finish up some invoices. Waited for an hour and then he says it's too cold outside. Don't stop here n waste your time. Find another CB shop

I needed a heavy-duty base for my antenna mount and stopped in after hours and was welcomed in with a smile and some good conversation. I was able to get exactly what I needed and problem solved the cb shop is a Great place to go for all your cb needs!!!!!!!!

Came by at 7 and was closed. Had note up saying out to lunch from 4 to 430. Why have a sop if it’s not going to be open?? The open sign was on and hrs are until 8p.m
