I cannot say enough great things about this veterinary office. They are ALL amazing. Terri & Amanda at the front desk are so pleasant and kind. We brought all FIVE of our furbabies in today, and the vet tech was amazing. Dr. Everett.. just so kind! He is truly a gem! Both Dr. Green and Caldwell are excellent with all of my pets. They have shown me they are invaluable to my livestock and domestic pets. Their staff is friendly and also care about the animals in their care. I've been taking my pets to them for sometime and from the beginning to the end of my pets lifespan, the care is always given with a sensitivity keeping my family and pet in mind. Love this place!

Everyone at Sparta Vet is so wonderful and friendly! They’ve helped our cat when she had bladder stones which another vet had missed, got us in immediately when our puppy got hurt to get checked out, and got our 11 puppies in right away for their litter exam and shots. They are just all very kind and very affordable as well. I highly recommend them for all of your pet needs rather emergency or preventative care.

These people are amazing. I have a very aggressive dog toward strangers and called everywhere trying to find someone that would take me serious and be helpful and this was the only place that would listen without judging or being rude. They were amazing with my baby and very helpful.

I absolutely love Sparta Vet for my animals care. Between horses, dogs, and cats, we've seen several vets at the office and they're all extremely knowledgeable and kind. Easy to get ahold of, schedule with, and the office staff is wonderful. They're priced more than fairly, which is a bonus, but I wouldn't trust anyone else with my pets care. Thank you for the excellent work you do!

In the last 2 weeks I have had to take my cats for unscheduled sick visits. First my 5 month old kitten and yesterday my 3 year old cat. Both were sick with fever. In both cases this office worked in my sick babies the same day. The staff and vets are great. They got my babies back to good health quickly. They didn't charge an arm and a leg either. I highly recommend this office.

Awesome veterinary. Dr Hoffmeyer is so great. We needed to find a place to take our goat and she was able to fit us in on short notice. The staff is so caring and friendly. They took the time to answer all our questions and procure vaccines for other goat as well. I highly recommend them!

The office staff was exceptional, very knowledgeable and very helpful with all the questions I had and trust me I had a bunch. The Dr. was seemed to be someone I have known for ever he was very respectful to me and my wife however my pet was sick when I took him for a check up and I was worried about how much his antibiotics were going to cost and I was shocked how little they cost but all and all I highly recommend SPARTA VETERINARY SERVICES great people great service

Dr. Colwell is awesom, we had a 19 year old Jack Russell that became sick on a Saturday. We called Dr. Colwell and had him come to the house to put our life long pet down. He was very kind and understanding. He explained the process to us and was very gentle with our old dog. In just a few minutes it was over and he took our dog told us what we needed to do next.Just a super kind Doctor.

I just moved to Crossville, TN in the last 2 weeks and have been looking for a Large Animal vet since day one and Vets around Crossville were either not taking new customers or didn't offer emergency services. Of course a week into our arrival, the worst happens and I have a horse choking and aspirating. Again, got on the phone and called close to 20 vets around the area without success and then I got a hold of Sparta Veterinary Services, after closing but they answered anyway and offered to help me. Their office is an hour away from us, but they were willing to stick around while we rushed there. Dr Colwell and Dr Hoffmeyer were there with smiles and got to work immediately. They cleared the choke and waited patiently to ensure we didn't head back out until they monitored him for a while and ensured it was truly cleared and he was comfortable and was not suffering from aspiration pneumonia as a result of the choke. If it had not been for their willingness to help, my stallion would of died. I could NOT BE MORE GRATEFUL for both of these professionals and their confident, calming demur's and commitment to helping animals and people:) I only wish that they were closer, but they offered to help us in the future as well and I may just make the travel there even if I can find a local vet:) And a shout out as well to the super friendly and compassionate office staff that recognized my situation and went out of their way to update the vets and stayed late to admit us. Also very much appreciated! Great facility and even better staff! Highly recommend!

They are not very friendly at all, and they charge for the same service twice, for instance, my daughter's dog got ran over, because it was after hours an emergency, they charged her after hours price which was fine, but then they added a regular office visit price to it too. And they charged her way too much of Medicine and then she still had to get medicine filled and pay for that too. I have witnessed them taking care of a dog chicken nuggets Fever by sticking a thermometer up his butt, and then didn't even wash their hands and they weren't wearing gloves

They treat my fur baby as family and are very knowledgeable about ANY HEALTH PROBLEMS. My girl had some sort of infected bite which we thought to be a brown recluse bite. Dr. Colwell drained the area and removed the skin that had rotted and walked me through the treatment for me to do at home. When I had an issue with her taking her dressings off he took us right in and had a solution for the issue of her stubborn tail. This is the only vet I'll go to and have recommended many to them. Our Mimi loves them and we do too.

One of the veterinarians there literally saved our dog's life. One vet said Chloe, our dog who had been hit by a car, would never be able to walk on four legs again and would probably either have to be put down or have her leg amputated. The other vet continued to try and put her leg back in place and was successful. Our favorite animal hospital. The staff has always been courteous and friendly.

Wow. My 16 year old dog has outlasted two vets (both retired) and needed medical care today. Dr. Colwell and everyone on the staff was absolutely fabulous. He got all of the attention and medical care he needed at a very reasonable price -- and nothing that he didn't need. I am so grateful Sparta has this wonderful veterinary practice and so glad to have found Dr. Colwell and staff. We've got a new family vet, and he and his staff are all wonderful!

They got us in with 5 sick calves when our regular vet couldn't. With the covid restrictions we don't know much about the rest of the staff, but we were treated very well by Dr. Colwell and his assistant.

Absolutely one of the worst vets I have ever come in contact with. Took hours to return my call b/c of a colicing horse. Abandon the horse and I for more than 3 hours even after the initial farm call. Said he would be right back, had to get supply. He stayed at his office working on other clients pets, even though my horse was critical and was not responding to his treatment. Then took another several hours treating my horse which should have been referred to an Equine clinic. Committed malpractice, abandonment and treated for a condition the horse didn't have. Result - my horse died an extremely painful and unneccessary death b/c of his knowing malpractice. Don't go there if you want to your to live. Horrible vet. Only concerned with the amount of money he can get out of you.
