I Just CANNOT RECOMMEND " THE FOODLAND IN SOUTH PITTSBURG, TN AT ALL- ANY LONGER- Our Family have been long time Shoppers of this store - And have Watched it - Over the Last 2- 3 Years Decline SO Badly- The MEAT DEPARTMENT AND WHOEVER IS SUPPOSED TO "TAKE CARE OF IT" IS IN TOTAL DIS-REPAIR - MEATS/ WITH NEW STICKERS COVERING THE "ORIGINAL EXPIRATION DATE" And Our Family Arrived Home With Several Packages of Different Varieties of Meat - And We always " take Each out of the ORIGINAL Packaging- and Vacuum Seal Ourselves " and The SMELL WAS HORRIBLE AND THEN THE UNDERSIDE OF THE MEATS WAS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT COLOR - FROM THE TOPS - ( WHAT WAS SHOWING TO CUSTOMERS) AND THEN MY WIFE NOTICED THE " DOUBLE STICKERS- 3 WEEKS OUT OF DATE- NEXT WAS SIMPLE DELI MEATS - AND BACON AND SAUSAGE STILL ON THE SHELVES AND OF COURSE, I WAS THINKING- ( AND MOST ELDERLY SHOPPERS WOULD AND EVERYONE REALLY- ) IF A PRODUCT IS OUT THERE- ITS IN DATE , AND SAFE TO EAT. NOT ANYMORE- AT FOODLAND - ONLY IN SOUTH PITTSBURG- I DONT EVEN WANT TO GET STARTED ON THE PRODUCE - OR THE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM MANAGEMENT- WHEN I CALLED BACK - ABOUT THESE CONCERNS - THE " LADY" OBVIOUSLY- NOT THE OWNER- WAS NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE, FRIENDLY, OR EFFICIENT - DEFINITELY NOT AN ASSET TO THE STORE - NOR WHOMEVER IS OVER ALL THINGS " MEAT" AS THIS STORE IS IN A DECLINING STATE - I CANNOT SEE IT RECOVERING FROM- WITH NEW MARKET SHARE - AND COMPETITION DEALING WITH THINGS MUCH MUCH BETTER- AND TAKING THEIR CUSTOMERS HEALTH AS A PRIORITY!

They have deals and twice now I was over charged and didn't realize it until I got home. So even though the pepperoni said 2/$7 I paid the original price of $9.48. plus the price of everything in the store is kinda high. Walmart is right up the road and they are opening a food city, food land will definitely not be my first choice.

I don't like giving 1 star but there are several reasons why I chose to do this. The biggest issue is the high prices, they charge Publix prices for Dollar Store quality, in a poverty stricken town. They try to make up for this with weekly deals. Which brings me to my next reason why I gave 1 star. They advertised $19.99 10pc chx fingers with wedges, I got there just before 5pm (dinner time) to buy dinner for my family and they had already closed the fryer and the girl said they close at 6pm and wouldn't make any more chx fingers. Lastly, there have been several times I've bought shelf food and got home to see it is expired. I will rather go to Walmart than spend my money here again. The employees are nice and welcoming and the store is clean, but that's about it.

Food is often expired and produce often rotten the next day. We've found milk in the case that was weeks expired. I avoid this store unless I need something from a box or a can.

They have a good selection at a good value. Their deli is nice and the team there does a great job. The store is laid out pretty well, and is clean and well lit.They have my favorite lime juice, and their meat and dairy looks good.

Small supermarket that has basic needs. Most produce is fresh.Limited choices due to store size but is fine if you're not looking for gourmet.. I miss the fresh California roll sushi. Limited dairy products today.

Store is clean. Found my four items quickly. Another checkout line was opened because the line got long. Deli is very nice to have in town. Good deli meat and cheese as well as hot plates for takeout or eating at the new booths by the windows.

I NEVER HARDLY GIVE 1 REVIEWS- BUT BUYERS BEWARE! ESPECIALLY MEAT DEPT- WATCH EXPERATION DATES AND MARK DOWNS WITH STICKERS OVER THEM!!! THERE ARE STILL THINGS IN SHELVES AND HANGING COMPLETELY OUT OF DATE! CAN GOODS TOO!! I BEEN 3 TIMES AND AM FAIRLY NEW TO THE AREA- AND CONSIDER THE DRIVE TO BRUCES FOODLAND IN STEVENSON A COMPLETE HONOR - BECAUSE AT LEAST OUR FAMILY WONT GET SICK

Love this store! You are greeted by beautiful flowers as soon as you walk through the doors. Neat gift items. Employees are very helpful and nice. Store is very clean! Meat department is well stocked. Prices are decent.

It's ok for a quick stop. Prices aren't always very competitive and selection is lacking. The store is laid out kinda odd. It's like instead of making room for a new product they just stick it where there's room. Produce isn't always fresh and some frozen food seems like it's been there a while. Staff is friendly though. Given the age of the building they do an ok job of keeping it clean.

I found the prices to be much higher than other stores I shop. Many people in that small town do not have transportation ie. Senior Citizens. I feel the store takes advantage of the circumstances. Can of soup 1.99. Same soup and size 1.00 at dollar store. Sad

Sometimes the Fresh Meat Doesn't last until it's Expiration date. Little Manager Doesn't Speak to You when he Sees you. Door Is OPEN where they Fix the Fresh food to put out for the Customers. Frozen Food is Freezer Burn ...You Never see Anyone Rotating stock at the Freezer Section.

meat dept. is fresh. the store is arranged so you can find things easily or they will help you. And last but not least the old fashioned buggy boys, i still like my groceries took to my car as part of the service...thank You
