Prices are to high. I understand that we live in a small community but sometimes it is totally worth the drive. During our shopping experience, not one employee spoke to us. Not even the cashier, we stood in line while she was talking to someone else on their cell phones. I don't go in there unless I have to.

I wish this place would have been found earlier this week when I arrived in town. We didn't even know it was here, and Google didn't pull it up. It's a well stocked grocery store. Rathered of support local if I knew.

Great for basic goods, not a lot of selection, though**Update*** it's been three years since my first review, and I'm increasing by one star :).Cleanliness and selection has improved a bit. Service is still very friendly and helpful. Produce quality has improved quite a bit.Great place to get basics, though I'd head over the mountain for "fancy" ingredients

Great small town, fully stocked grocery store. Prices are reasonable, and some are even better than Walmart. Good selection of fresh produce. Ice cream was 2/$5

Thanks to Greene's Supermaket reconsidering closing quite some time ago, our county is lucky to still have a grocery store in our small town. They have a wide variety of all sorts of items.

This store ALWAYS has wonderful employees!Update 4/1/22Better prices, cleaner, more options.So meat items are questionable, recommend sticking to frozen and checking it. Very nice to see improvements!

Pleasant staff and a good place to pick up a few groceries! Their produce department has a limited selection but they do have some specialty items in other parts of the store. Highly recommended for their friendly clerks!

I like shopping at Greenes. I like to shop with my hometown grocer. However if I cannot get Organic Valley organic milk I will have to go elsewhere and I know I will get more than just milk when I do. I like to see the salad kits being offered, as well as a great variety of fruits and vegetables. I wish Greenes all the best. Their staff is super friendly and helpful.

For a town as small as Sneedville this is a cute little grocery store. The cucumbers and tomatoes tasted like they came fresh out of your garden

Greene's is an institution in Sneedville. It's always been there and probably always will be. If it isn't, then that means somebody messed up along the way as it is the ONLY grocery store within forty minutes of town. Reasonable prices and a nice selection. They even carry some brands you've likely never heard of, but don't be a wimp, buy them and give them a try.

IGA needs to commit to this location and even expand it. They lose a lot of business by making it too easy of a decision to go to the two dollar stores. They could put one of the dollar store out of business if they were more valuable to their customers. Just a thought 🤔.

Well the store is fairly clean and pretty well stocked it's extremely expensive compared to other stores. if they want people to shop their store they need to get their prices more in line with the other grocery stores in the area. folks don't mind driving 20 miles to the grocery store if they're saving a dollar on each item they purchase.
