My rating would be lower but I continue to receive awesome service for the past year to year and a half. It wasn't until recently that there has been an issue. Usually do grocery pickup and they're super nice and pick awesome subs. The product itself has gone downhill, and I'm lucky my family hasn't gotten sick. I think they're having issues with their refrigeration, because the last two times I have gone I have received spoiled product. The product itself has not yet expired, but was definitely bad. The first incident was a package of Bob Evans Mac and cheese. Took a big ol bite after preparing to find it to be completely sour. This week I bought four cheese tortellini and as soon as I pour it into the pot I discovered the pasta to be covered in mold. So i don't know what's going on at this store, but buyer beware.

If you're in Smyrna, TN, and seeking a shopping oasis, look no further than Kroger. Nestled conveniently close to home, this location is a gem for various reasons, making it my preferred stop for all things grocery and pharmacy-related.First and foremost, the pharmacy at Kroger is a lifesaver. As someone who frequents this spot for medicine, I can attest to the professionalism and efficiency of the staff. Whether it's a prescription refill or a quick consultation, they've always got me covered. When it comes to groceries, Kroger is a winner in my book. Unlike Walmart, I find Kroger's pricing to be more reasonable, and they consistently stock the foods I love. It's a relief to know that my go-to items are reliably available whenever I shop.Proximity is another perk of this Kroger location. Being just a stone's throw away from my home, it's incredibly convenient for those last-minute runs or planned shopping trips. However, the only downside is the parking situation. Maneuvering through the parking lot can sometimes feel like a puzzle, with spots at a premium. It's not uncommon to circle a bit before finding a spot, and occasionally I've had to park towards the back of the lot. But, the treasure trove of goodies inside makes the parking challenge worthwhile. On top of it all, the Kroger Gas station offers some of the best fuel prices around, adding another layer of convenience to the shopping experience. In summary, Kroger in Smyrna, TN, is a one-stop-shop that ticks all the boxes for me. From pharmacy needs to grocery essentials, it's got it all, with the added bonuses of proximity and affordable fuel. So, despite the occasional parking adventure, Kroger remains my top choice for shopping satisfaction.

Wish there were more handicap parking spaces. Thank you for having the riding cart. I enjoy doing my own shopping & self checkout. This store is on ground level & in their own building. The reason I state this is because I was answering questions about Kroger & accidentally hit the wrong answer to the question of the level Kroger was on. Great customer service and help. Glad to see the shelves were nicely stocked & plenty of sale items. Thank You Everyone @ Kroger for always making my shopping a nice trip 👍

this place is going to scam you if you don’t pay attention… $0.88 tomatoes are actually $1.99 per pound if you don’t pay attention and read every word anywhere on display and understand you won’t get advertised low price without a digital coupon, and cashier ain’t telling you nothing either … I’m tired of scammers and I’m done shopping at Kroger , I’d imagine every Kroger is same as this one … so you should probably find another grocery store to shop at if you’re looking for honest business … also if you get here in the morning , customer service is closed , and you can’t buy cigarettes, this place is a joke …I got a nice Food Lion right next to my place where I’ll be doing all of my grocery shopping from now on …

This is a nice and larger Kroger. Busy at times but never a long wait. Love all the mark downs and sales through out the store. Sushi, deli and bakery always on point. Great alcohol selection as well.

For being 7 AM on Thanksgiving morning, they were surprisingly busy. However, everyone was busy making sure the store was presentable and check out lines weren’t that bad. The sale on Coke products was awesome. I’m convinced Kroger is the best bang for the buck still to this day.

Ms. Charli was a very big help when checking out at this Kroger location! I wasn't able to get help at the customer service area for an item I was returning because the person was on break. Charli stepped right in and provided pleasant service and direction on what to do. Charli gets the 5 Stars for this review. Great worker and cares about the customer experience!

I traveled to TN during the July 4th weekend and stopped into this Kroger on the way to visit my Mother to buy her flowers as I always do.I bought these beautiful blue orchids for myself and my daughter and brought them home to FL with me.Within 4 days of purchase I noticed black spots on the leaves, then the leaves turned yellow, then the flowers wilted, then the leaves literally fell off. These $25 orchids had root rot.Called the store and called corporate offices (was hung up on by 4 different associates when I asked to speak to a Manager) and NO ONE will honor their merchandise and refund my $50 that literally rotted away by the 7th day after purchase.Because I live in FL and have no Kroger near me to have a Kroger account, they refuse to refund me money.Guess that’s why this Florida girl loves Publix!!I will never ever step foot again in any Kroger.Next time I visit my Mom and stop to buy her flowers, I will make sure to go next door to Publix!

Listen. I don’t know what’s happening with this Kroger, but I know it isn’t the standard they advertise. It’s always understaffed with long checkout lines. They’ve changed the chicken flour or something in the deli; the fried chicken is now trash. What happened to the three cheese ranch dressing? Do we not pay enough tax money to get a half decent and fully stocked store? This Kroger has made changes in all the wrong places, and naturally, it continues to get worse and worse. I don’t want to drive Veterans Pkwy or Church street locations in Murfreesboro every time I need groceries and want a pleasant shopping experience- but I will should this store continue to disappoint.

Kroger corporate needs to step in. They should also check out the video from Saturday October 14th between noon and one o’clock (at least).- We were there this past Saturday around noon, and there was only one register open. Yes, really, just one. There were ~8 carts in line for that register so we waited to be ~7th in line for the self checkout even though we had ~$250 in groceries. There were lines of carts EVERYWHERE waiting to checkout. I’ve never seen that many people waiting around in long lines to check out at a grocery store.- The checkout machine kept stopping us and requiring us to get the helper to intervene, except there was only one helper (they needed 2 more) and it kept taking her several minutes to get to us to get us going again. So it took us FOREVER to check ourselves out. This wouldn’t have happened if they had enough checkouts going.- The person at the self checkout ahead of us dropped a big bottle of wine which left glass and wine in a large circle of the check out area. That was not Kroger’s fault, but Kroger had nobody to clean it up so it just sat there for at least over 10 minutes (it was still there with nobody cleaning it up as we were leaving). This created a very dangerous situation for people anywhere near that area. It also kept one of the few open self checkout lanes closed with MANY people standing around waiting to check out.- Finally the self checkout lady took a 12 pack of beer out of my hands and walked away with it as my wife was showing the lady her id (we’re both 53). I left my id in the car. The lady said everyone part of the transaction had to show id. She wouldn’t even let my wife go to a different self checkout to buy it without me in the picture. We could have gone and grabbed more beer (she took ours), but that would have meant standing in the very long lines again. No thx. Again, wouldn’t have happened if they had enough registers opened.- My wife made the comment as we drove to Publix to get the beer we still needed that everyone is short staffed these days. Then we walked into Publix and they had more people than they needed around helping people. It was night and day.- This was the worst customer service experience I think I’ve ever had. Just thing after thing making this a very unpleasant experience.- The store manager needs immediate intervention/help. I’m know they lost one customer (I.e., me), but I’m quite sure they lost several others that day given the circumstances.

Prices have gone way up again but overall I found everything I needed and a few extras. People are always very nice and helpful.

After opening my grapes I ordered with the pick up option I found a SNAIL in the bag. After calling the store to complain all the manager had to say was “it’s a fresh product what do you expect” Terrible customer service.

Grocery pickup has issues. Either runs late or never fills the order and tells me I am welcome to come back. I don’t have time to run back and forth and why should I believe the next time will be any better. I’m disabled and depend on the pickup to help me but since it’s unreliable it’s of little help. I’ll drive Down two blocks to Publix’s. Higher prices but reliable service and they fill pickup orders within a hour. Sorry Kroger I’ve tried to be loyal but you’ve wasted way to much of my time and gas driving over for nothing.

Fresh produce, fresh baked goods and lots of varieties. Low prices and coupons accepted.

Incredibly frustrated with this store. I’ve selected Kroger pickup 3x in a row and they’ve been unable to have my pickup order on time. This store is only convenient to my job so asking me to “come back later” defeats the entire purpose of using the pick up feature.

We use to shop at this store regularly, but have switched to Publix several years ago. The management of this store has declined and continues to decline. It is over crowded, the parking is a disaster, them don't have enough staff. The staff they do have especially at the deli and butcher counters, demonstrate little to no customer service skills. Good luck filling a prescription here. The lines most of the time are very long and always slow. The employees that pick the on-line orders don't consider other customers or how much of the aisle they are blocking. It is just disappointing and unpleasant to shop here. We only come here if Publix doesn't carry an item we need or we go to Walmart, yeah that is how bad it is. The one bright spot are the cashiers, overall they are friendly and courteous. The rest of the employees could learn from them.My suggestion is avoid this store!

Decent store - we found most of what we needed. Checkout lanes were a disaster, and the lady running the self checkout was a mean, overbearing miserable person, doing ID checks on senior citizens for beer purchases and yelling at children that they’re not allowed to scan items. Whew!

No buggies inside. The parking lot situation is a disaster. Produce is slim pickings along with meat and dairy. It's the only kroger in smyrna...better to stick with publix.

I've always had a pretty good experience at Kroger in Smyrna but lately it's gone downhill. Customer service is always closed and when you go and ask for something at one of the registers especially the self-service registers the people that help there don't help! I'm sorry customer service is closed. I can see that can you give me some change please no sir customer service is closed. Thank you very much for your help I really appreciate it. Customer service needs to be better than that! If anybody really reads this do something about it!

This Kroger is well managed. I live closer to the veterans parkway Kroger but it’s a total disaster so I started coming here. The check out ladies in lane 11 were lightning fast. Shopped 1/7 at 12:30

Once again, #smyrnakroger #kroger #smyrna is understaffed and management doesn't care. Only 1 checkout open and only one side of self checkout open. Managers running the registers? Nope. Pulling from other departments? Nope. Hey, there's one person standing at the front service area; maybe send him to a register? Nope, they're there picking their nose like the blonde kid from Bad Santa.I used to shop at this Kroger all the time and now a different store gets my money. Stopped in for a quick grab and go and things still haven't changed.

Been waiting on a pickup order for over an hour and once you are stuck in line you cannot leave. They do not have enough people working in the pickup area and the poor guys working are doing the best they can. When I called I was told they were busy and it would be a while, seriously?! Thought I’d try Kroger since Publix is so expensive, but my time is much more valuable than this. If you are looking to save time, this is not the place for you!

I just spent over 200.00 dollars in this Kroger and the cashier told me he couldn’t give me a receipt we had to go to customer service to get a receipt printed from someone who gave a dam Now I see why this Kroger get 1 star all the time I wish I could give 0 star because it is obvious he did not care I’m sure Kroger don’t care if we go to Publix instead

This grocery store has most things you'd need. The place just seems cramped and not well lit. They don't have Celsius energy drinks either. They do have a large selection of Halloween decor, about 2 aisles worth.

Got some donuts from the bakery soon as they opened, watched the lady put them in the case. Both I got were straight from the refrigerator I swear. Rock hard and ice cold, not even just room temp. Wild
