Personally, I find solace in their reasonably priced drinks and the ever-tempting allure of Tagalongs cookies, which never fail to satisfy my sweet tooth.However, amidst the convenience and affordability, there lies a minor inconvenience. The store often seems cluttered with unopened items, creating obstacles that can be challenging to navigate, especially during peak hours when the aisles are bustling with shoppers. While this can be a slight inconvenience, it doesn't detract significantly from the overall positive shopping experience.In conclusion, the Dollar General in Smyrna, TN, serves as a reliable neighborhood hub for quick essentials and affordable indulgences. This location is sometimes closed and they are always stocking. It's very hard to find what you need here. I think they have been short staffed for the year and a half we have lived nearby. I miss having a good DG. Employees are always nice.

For the last 3 times I am coming to this store...was closed without notice of that.. around 1pm,3pm and 4pm.Was cars outside, I don't see anybody in there and lights on 🙈🤔🙉 today the store is open 4.04pm 😁

Please check your dates to make sure they are good. I always find food items with expired dates, so this time I decided to post them. The time before I took the expired items to the register but for some reason they have a high turnover rate with employees maybe that's the reason. 🤔

I'm bewildered as to how this store manages to stay in business. I was prepared to make a purchase, but there wasn't a single employee in sight. I patiently waited for a considerable amount of time, hoping for some assistance, but eventually, I made the decision to leave. The deterioration in service and overall experience of this establishment is quite noticeable. This incident occurred at 10:00 am, assuming the management even takes note of customer feedback.

I had a bad experience at this store, a rude employee was mad at me for knocking on the counter for someone to come to the register. She grap the item I was going to pay for it and stared at the and didn't even smile or say anything, so I told her to keep the item and left. This is the worst Dollar General period!

Some white old man scan my stuff. He had no room on the bag table so he decided to push my stuff on the floor instead of handing it over to me and he was rather being rude. Smh.. dont just hire anybody .

Upon entering employees standing outside. There was someone waiting in line and I had to go outside to get the employee. NOT a pleasant person to deal with. Will not be back.

I just tried to visit this location at 2:43 PM on a Friday afternoon, The front door was locked, I saw an employee standing at the front door as I pulled in. But no one was available and the door was locked whenever I tried to go inside. I drove out of my way to come to this Dollar General to avoid having to go to the major grocery chains. How completely inconvenient and ridiculous! Unacceptable DG!

Open to the public with easy access. The shelves were full, which is great because so many stores right now especially other Dollar General stores look like the have been raided and are empty looking. This store had plenty of products and is right off the main road so it's easy to get in and get out.

I have stopped at this locations on multiple occasions around 9:20 and 9:30 and the doors will be locked, yet the website and the sign on the door say 10!! If your not gonna stay open until the time you are supposed to then change the time!! It’s very frustrating when I get my child out of the car expecting to go inside and the door is locked! Very unhappy! Think I’m going to start using a different store!

I was in line when the cashier had a pizza delivered to her. Which is fine, people got to eat. I overheard her conversation with the delivery driver though and she only tipped the guy like 5 cents. I thought that was lame to do considering it's the holidays

Was in line didnt find one item I need manger went and got it fir me. I'm also disabled and a worker heard me ask if I could get help losding all my purchases into my cat. He ran over and said he would be happy to!! Great customer service today!!!

THIS STORE IS NEVER OPEN, HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR LITERALLY 6 DAYS STRAIGHT. THE MANAGER IS EXTREMELY RUDE TO THE CUSTOMERS AND WILL NOT UNLOCK RHE DOORS FOR US. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS.

Some things ok, others not so much. If you're looking forvreal "dollar" bargains, the Dollar Tree is probably best. Dollar General is more like a modern neighborhood grocery store, un my opinion.

Staff is friendly. Its a newer store so its pretty clean but I think its a little crowded. Hard to get around in the store because the shelves and things are so close together

Hey! We all need to buy little nick nacks, from time to time. Why pay top dollar for party favors, birthday decorations or paper products, when Dollar General has a wide variety of good quality products, at a price that rivals Walmart.
