Multiple times, I have done online pickup orders only to get ROTTEN produce. One time the meat container was opened, and today a can of horse radish that was not only open, but also spoiled.Good job guys, cannot even do your job correctly.Cancelled my rewards card - will never shop here again.

I visited the bakery twice in January to have cakes baked for my 2 young grandaughters. I was very particular and specific as to what I wanted. Sigi was very patient and helpful with me and allowed the time I needed to make sure they were done yo my satisfaction. Both cakes came out perfect. T

Fresh produce, fruit, and stocked well. Clean floors and clearly marked specials. I spoke with several employees for assistance and went to it. I loved my Food Lion experience!

They have shopping carts for little kids so they can learn how to shop. Lots of sales, if you have their rewards card you can save even more. The store is quite clean and the restrooms are clean as well.

This location is very clean and well stocked. The best thing about this store is there are no self checkouts!!! They actually have employees that do this and will always open lanes when they get busy. I would give more than 5 stars if it was allowed. Great job Smithville Food Lion. Don't change a thing

I certainly love Food Lion the best of all the grocery stores in town. They have gotten a much bigger collection or variety of gluten free options, however the dairy free items could use some tweeking. It is certainly the easiest to get in and out of, not too big or too small either and very convenient, for us anyways. And the staff are all so friendly and helpful. Love it!P.s. Just needing a few more items, I have suggested, before giving that 5th ⭐️. 👍🏼😊Edit! 5th star given! If there is ever something you want or need that they do not have, just speak with the manager and she will have it ordered for you.

Their pickup is far better than any other I have used. You can speak to your shopper as they are getting your order prepared. They are ALWAYS friendly and I have not gotten a wrong item yet. :)

I love this store! As a mom being able to shop somewhere with quality products at an affordable price is so important and I can get that here! We also love the shopping carts where kids can pretend to drive a race car or push their own little cart. I decided to make a food lion to go order online while I was at the vet. Making the order online was easy and convenient. The associate even texted me any questions or out of stocks to see what I would like to do.I selected a time to pick it up and it was brought out to my car by the to go associate. I love the new option for store pickup!

With the high inflation, pricing of goods is critical in making better choices for your family. This is a sweet little store, currently well-stocked, but pricing was NOT up to date. Multiple items were much higher when getting to the cashier. They did happily adjust prices to the shelf tag price when I mentioned specific item price differences. But, unless you're gonna take pictures of every shelf tag, you'll end up paying even more. You'll often find marked-down meat, probably because it's just too expensive for most people and it doesn't sell at the higher prices. It's a good place to shop for meat deals on the morning. Like any place you shop, pay attention and shop smart.

I love the selection, but I get so tired of being charged regular price for items marked on sale.*** Update. Lood Lion corporate suggested talking to the store manager. We did ,and even though we had the receipt, he denied it . Food Lion has lost two customers. Better check your receipts

I dont understand how a deli can close at 8 pm...but they clean the cheese cutter before 6 and say customers can't get deli cheese after 6! And that customers cant get deli meat after 7 pm...CRAZY!! 2 hrs before deli closes cant get cheese....and an hour before it closes cant get deli meat!! Those are deli staples!

The food lion is very clean. Everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable and friendly . The customer is really valued. They always have smiles on. The food lion card is really handy. And the food is always fresh and in date. The employees at food lion strive for protection. I really appreciate how they conduct their self, and it's a reflection to them.

I am a vip card holder here. I would advise anyone who shops here to get yourself a card because it will save you a good deal of funds. My order was originally about $48 I only paid $32 with the savings from the vip card.

I am not a big fan of this Food Lion! There are a few very kind and friendly people who work there but there is one man who ruins my shopping experience almost every time I see him! He's hateful about helping me find things, almost as if he doesn't want to be there or he's too good to do so. He's been extremely rude to me and made me leave my cart full of groceries before. I've never been one to complain about anything but, if you see a younger man with dark hair and a tie don't ask him for help...he's mean!!! Other than that, the store is kept very clean and organized and the deli and bakery are very well stocked.

I love shopping at Food Lion... It's not like having to go to another big-name store where they sell clothes and electronics and everything else in town... I only have to deal with groceries in there... And they have just about everything we need when we go there... With my MVP card it's almost the same as shopping at that big store I'm talking about for the same prices because your MVP card gets it down to that low price... They have a pretty wide selection at the deli... Great freezer section... And a very large selection of meats and poultry along the back
