This location is a joke. Let's start at the beginning.... The parking lot, at one end you can't ark in fear of getting hit because the parking rows are way to close together. You can pull in but watch backing out. The store looks as if nothing gets put away. Isles full of unpacked merchandise blocking walk ways. You would think ok maybe it's truck day. Nope this is every day. Next 4 employees on staff working and one at register while other stand around on phones or chatting. Now let's talk about product quality. I just bought a loaf of bread. You don't think to check the use by date right? Wrong, not at this location check all dates. I get home and thank God no mold but yes it's expired. I wish this was the only time this has happened. A couple months ago it happened with cheese and chips. Glad there are other DGs in Smithville. Just 2 miles down Nashville hwy past Walmart is a clean store. Send the extra gas n go to that location or another one at least you won't break you neck trying to shop not end up poisoned from expired food. Either get your act together DG on Congress or they need to shut you down at least until they can find better management. Who does their job and makes sure employees do theirs.

Prices are reasonably priced and coupon codes offer a great deal, but often this store is never stocked. Items are scattered across the store and difficult to find. The store seemed to not be disinfected as the floors are often covered in a layer of dirt or some type of staining. I have witnessed the staff leaving before the10 pm closing time, so I doubt the store is disinfected. The employees are usually smoking outside the majority of times I've been there. A particular manager (Sasha) shared misinformation about return policies. We then asked another Dollar General that had a different policy who let us return the item.(Both in the same district.) The manger has also been caught ridiculing customers. While I agree the public can be a handful, as a employee in customer service, it's not professional to react in such as way. I would also mention the store is a bit "outdated" compared to the others, but that's just being nitpicky.

Friendly cashier's. Manager is always there. Everything you need under 1 roof. It's not disability friendly. The doors are not automatic. There's too many carts with stuff packed on it in the aisles. Very little room to move about especially if you're in a wheelchair.Check out no addict left behind on facebook

This Dollar General store never keeps it's shelves stocked and everything always seems to be scattered. This is not a bad reflection upon the employees, it's just too small of a location for the powers that be to be able to do what they want. I'm sure every size DG has a layout design, but this one is all over the map. Still, better than wading through 40,000 items when you really just wanna get the six things you need and go home!

I go here at least twice a week because they have the best price on toiletries. I can run in get what I need and eun out. Manager is exceptionally kind and makes xoming in pleasant.

Typical Dollar Store. Good selection, but felt a bit claustrophobic with narrow aisles and tall shelves. Clerks were putting up stock which was piled high throughout the store and were not interested in offering any help.

One of the managers was pretty rude because I asked for cash back and fussed at me for not asking ahead of time, I assumed it was just a bad day but other people have told stories of how hateful and rude she is. I avoid going in this store as much as possible

The store was having a 50% off sale we could not find hardly anything that was on sale because it was in complete disarray. The sales staff was friendly and helpful and did their best to help us find the wonderful sales items. Thank You to all the management and staff.

It's easy and quick to in and out. BUT. Dont ask for something u cant find! I ask one lady if they had apple cider vinegar. Simple right, apparently not, she slammed down something she had in her hand hurried and stomped down the aisle. I followed, at a distance, she stopped looked at a shelf, turned back to look at me and angrily said WERE OUT. Then stomped away. LOL. Wow I walked up to the cheak out and hurried away. BAD day!!

The one in brush creek is terrible. Alot of people go and get there loca mocha coffee drinks there and there always empty. I know they can order more. When y'all kept them I was buying 3 and 4 a day. A lot of people have actually started buying them at Walmart., or the one in Watertown.. There always cold and even extra stock.

You can get coupon down loaded to your phone. When you go to use them you just enter your phone number and you don't have to worry about forgetting about them on your table at home.

I went here ro get a tube repair kit for a bicycle tire, and was unsuccessful. I can't believe out of all cheap things they wouldn't carry a patch kit. They had a ride repair kit that was to plug a vehicle tire or something, but not what I was looking for. I was sure they wud have but I was wrong.

This dollar general sells food that expired in February. When asked about it the cashier said that was the managers problem. When she asked the manager the manager said it was fine and left it out.

Ran in to get a few items but then had to wait in the line which was a lady in front of me and then me for over 10 minutes because there was no one up front and then when someone did come she was so slow and kept walking away talking to someone on the phone.

Manager has a really weird vibe and will belittle you for asking for help and if you have coupons forget them taking them, even peelies found on products in store.
