Absolute joke. Bought 4 bags of concrete and was $40 dollars. Could have gotten the same thing any county around for $26. Talk about a mark up. Will no long buy anything from this place. Recommend calling somewhere else to avoid this rip off.

I was impressed with the owner Rebecca. I needed a single item and even though she had other employees to help me she showed me where it was and helped me decide which was the best choice. It was a $10 item but she went to the trouble to see I was satisfied. Great customer service. It's one reason I do business there.

You'll be hard pressed to find a more helpful, kinder team than the staff at this Ace. It is an excellent shopping experience every time. You walk in the door, they actually ask you what you need, then they find it for you.. From a nickel item upwards. Doesn't matter. They are just so stinkin' nice. Every single employee. We've never had one "having a bad day." In a small town with such limited shopping options, this is golden!! Love it.

Bought a Stihl chainsaw. The service was spectacular, the employee knowledge base of products was even better. Patient, kind, willing to be sure so questions were answered. They even filled out the warranty information for us. Just a couple of days later, I got a phone call from another employee just clarifying my house number. The employee who was sending them in says it wasn't legible and just wanted to be sure so our warranty goes through. Now, tell me, who does that any more? Certainly nothing like a "big box" experience! We were doubly impressed and we will be back.

Staff was very helpful trying to find a light bulb for a very special lamp that means a great deal to me. He took time to really look, instead of just saying we don't have one to fit. Appreciate the consideration he gave me, even if they did not have what I needed

I was excited to find an Ace Hardware close to home and began shopping for various products. I purchased several gallons of paint, primer, stain along with other supplies. On multiple occasions the paint was not mixed enough and had swirls in the can. I had to take it to be redone or stir for extended period of time to try to get it mixed. I asked for a formula at 50% and they said they couldn't or basically wouldn't do it. Most recently they would not shake a can of stain I was going to purchase saying it might get bubbles. I assured them it was fine I had it done all the time. Interestingly they sell stain in bases that they add color to and shake!? Having recently retired from the Paint and home improvement business after 40+ years I am shocked at their lack of customer service. Shaking a product for a customer is basic service and necessary to achieve the proper color. There is no way to get the same uniformity by hand stirring. I told them I would go elsewhere if they could not provide proper service and walked to my car in shock. Rebecca followed me out and threatened to call the police if I did not come back in and purchase another can of paint in the shaker. I was in such disbelief at her rudeness, on top of rudeness, I went back in and paid for the one gallon that was mixed and left, never to return. I did let them know I would post the experience but they seemed not to care. How sad! Customer service used to mean something to businesses. This is definitely NOT the HELPFUL hardware place!

Love this locally owned store. They have everything you need for home repairs, as well as lawn and garden equipment and parts. I really love that the owner is a fisherman and keeps lots of fishing tackle, rods, reels, and even some universal boat repair parts in stock. Great prices and super friendly service to boot!

Unknowledgeable and unfriendly sales staff were the icing on the cake to the already overpriced merchandise. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else unless you are from this area and the staff know you. I was working in the area and needed to pick up some supplies and my experience was lackluster at best, but i noticed staff were quite friendly and accommodating to the regulars? Perhaps i wasn't special enough for the same treatment or i had a different accent or "look" about me. Who knows?
