Amazing place to visit and shop for guns. The owners are very knowledgeable about their business and super friendly. My boys have a saying that (if Belk Grocery doesn’t have it, you don’t need it).

Today was the second time I have been down to Belks and they have been closed when their website says that they are open.The website says they are not open the day before New Year’s and New Year’s Day. It’s specifically does say that they Are open Saturday, December 30 from 7 AM to 5PMAgain, this is the second time I have driven over an hour to get there and they have been closed. I spoke to the owner after the first time I showed up and they were closed when I randomly saw him at a restaurant and he explained to me that he still owned it, and that their hours were still normal as they have always been. I called several times before I made the hour long trip Was busy as though it was left off the hook.So, under the assumption that their website had the correct hours, and the phone lines were busy, I drove over an hour To get there again today and they were closed again. This is ridiculous. If they’re going to run their shop like this, then they need to at least have a voicemail that states during the holidays. What hours They are open.

It has taken me a couple of days to find the words to write this review because I don't think I have ever been so disappointed and disgusted by a business owners behavior ever in my life. About 2 months ago my husband, who is a combat vet with the US army that deployed to Afganistan to risk his life for this country, went to Belk Sporting Goods to buy a new gun. He was denied the gun sale (the male owner said that TBI randomly denies some sales) and paid $10 to appeal that denial. I want to say that there is absolutely nothing on his record that would warrant being denied a gun. Regardless, he was told that the appeal would work and they would have the results back within a couple of weeks. 3 weeks after the appeal was filed, my husband hadn't heard back so he called and the female owner said she would check on it and call him back. She took his number and never called him back. He let it go and waited to call back. 7 weeks after the appeal was filed, my husband called back. The female owner answered and said she would look into it and call him back. My husband kindly told her that she never got back to him before and asked if she would just provide his appeal number so he could check on it himself. The owner got incredibly rude and hung up on him. He called back and she said some of the rudest and most uncalled for things to my husband who was nothing but calm and respectful to her. She hung up on him a second time. Needless to say, my husband was extremely disappointed and frustrated. He didn't understand why her demeanor was so disgusting, he hadn't done anything to deserve that. Now, my husband does not easily upset so to see this man after dealing with that heinous woman, you can understand that I was angry to say the least. I'm writing this review to let others know that this is how an Army Veteran was treated at Belks Grocery and Sporting Goods and that they should be ashamed of thier customer service and thier behavior. Kindness is not difficult, neither is respectful behavior... I suggest going somewhere else if you want that with your consumer experience.

Super clean, they have gas, very helpful employee, gun store built inside, prices are reasonable, & a great view when driving, parking is a little crowded but it's a country store so it's to be expected

This is a unique business. One side is a small country store but the other side is a very well stocked firearms dealer. They handle NFA items and transfers. They have a surprisingly extensive variety of rifles and handguns. Plenty of different brands and calibers of ammo. Good optics, scopes, reflex sights etc. They have a good selection of fishing gear and the owners are very helpful and friendly.

This is definitely the place to go if you're in the market for a firearm. We have been several times and have never been disappointed. Jonathan and everyone there is so friendly and helpful. Their prices are great and they always make sure that you are satisfied with your purchase. And no matter what you buy they make sure you get a box of ammunition with it.

We just happened on this little gem of a store on our way home from a trip, needless to say I bought another gun. Most all the guns were reasonable priced. Some seemed high compared to other stores we had recently been to, but for the most part all prices were equal to or under the competition. Ammo was reasonably priced and the selection was great! We will definitely be making our way back for another purchase.Only downside is there is no website.

Very nice gunshop, great inventory of hunting long guns and vast inventory of hand guns. Great ammo selection also, found some hard to find rounds for my gun. Seemed real popular for lunch also.

Already had to make another trip to Belk’s Grocery and Sporting Goods!! Picked me up a little decked out Springfield HellCat, Hex Wasp red dot, threaded barrel with the ported cube!! Could not be more pleased, just pray God keeps the money coming so I can keep going back!! They were great about letting me hold guns just to hold them, got to hold a lifetime favorite Desert Eagle 50Cal!!

Plenty of fishing lures/gear and a wide selection of firearms and ammunition. I even spotted a Winchester Super Grade 7-08 in the rack!
