Took my dog to a different vet and they misdiagnosed her and claimed she had cushings, and wanted me to pay and arm & leg for more bloodwork. I was recommended by a friend to take her the ACofS & just by looking at my dog he could automatically tell what was wrong, ran bloodwork & he was right. They’re all so friendly and caring, couldn’t be happier in making the decision to make an appointment for my fur babies😌

We love Dr.Burke. my neighbor recommended him when we moved out here a year ago. He's been amazing with my two dogs. He listens and understands your concerns with no judgment. Missy is already feeling better. Thank you!

Found a lost dog in the area and they were very sweet to us, scanned the pup and even gave him water and a leash. Very friendly and you could tell they love animals

The reason I'm giving a poor review is the fact that a doctor of any sort is generally contacted when health matters are a major concern. If I'm having issues, or in this case my dog is sick, I need something done about it. . . Not schedule an appointment 2 weeks ahead when they could probably already have died if they truly needed serious medical attention.

I just want to say what a wonderful job the animal clinic here in Smithville Nikki and all the staff that were there that day I had to put both my babies down my little Sadie the black one was suffering from a blockage. And my sweet sugar which was 17 years old had cancer mouth cancerI just want to say what a wonderful job you guys did with love and care and compassion and respect the walking through to have my babies put to sleep to pass on no more pain and suffering thank you all who are there those days December 2nd and January 3rd I can't thank you enough thank you you guys are great

Our kennel is Buffalo Valley Frenchies and we have had great success working with this clinic in breeding our Frenchies. They are the best reproductive veterinarian clinic in my knowledge. We had them breed our Meisha with our Sugar Ray and gave us 6 males and 2 females! Meisha's C Sec is healing up great and the puppies are perfect. We couldnt be happier. Cant wait for our next visit in 2 weeks for another delivery!!

will not try to work your pet in if they are sick . when i called to ask if they could work a sick pet in i was just told no sorry how can you run a office and not allow for sick pets when u have customers that have always come there .

Best repro vets- hands down. Knowledgeable, friendly, fast, and AFFORDABLE. They don’t talk down to you, and they don’t try to price gouge those who aren’t as educated in veterinary procedures and average costs. I have a lot of respect for them! My bulldog, Squidward, approves this clinic!

I have sincerely never met a less caring vet in my life. My 18 Lb dog ingested someone’s rat poison at a campground in Smithville. I looked up emergency vets close to me and Dr. Burke came up…listed as “emergency” vet. Well that’s laughable. There was no one in the parking lot when we got there. We walked in terrified for our dog, and the disinterested receptionist said they can only see animals on appointments. I didn’t realize emergencies were put on a calendar. Keep in mind…there were NO other patients there. The receptionist explained that they would only give him peroxide anyway. So I asked if they had any peroxide I could use because time was ticking. She said no and that I’d have to go to the grocery store. My dog could have DIED, and they wouldn’t help us. We made it to the grocery, induced vomiting, and rushed to an actual emergency vet in Cookeville. We are in a holding pattern right now to see if he’s going to be OK. But I wouldn’t take an animal I hated to the Animal Clinic of Smithville. Pets are family, and they could care less. If you only see an animal by appointment, you are a wellness vet, not an emergency vet. If you won’t help my dog when he’s potentially dying, I’m sure as heck not going to give you my money for routine checkups and vaccines. Any vet tech can do that, and you are rendered useless.

Great place for your animals. They give great advice, help save animals, will always work w/u & help over the phone as well. If u need help w/an animal/pet/or just have questions I totally recommend using them.

They were very nice to me and our little critters had blood drawn and doggy didn't even react. The price was great for the service and the staff went above and beyond to help with my many questions. Will definitely continue to use them and highly recommend them as well.

We never saw the doctor and he may be a fine fellow. The gate keeper is another story. They simply make no room in their schedule for emergencies. We were told to return in 3 days? My animal would be dead by then! Made the drive to Sparta instead. Since we find it a bit difficult to "schedule" animal emergencies, it is important to find a vet who at least makes an attempt to understand the nature of animal ownership.

This place is horrible and heartless, my grandmother's dog was dying and suffering and they couldn't take 5 min to euthanize him. Said appointment only and only one person in the waiting room. They told us no appointments for 2 weeks. A 5 min procedure they would have been paid on the spot for. Completely heartless. He was shivering and unresponsive and they would not help. This was his primary veterinary clinic, and she has spent thousands of dollars there for all her animals. If u have time to go out of town I very strongly recommend it.

The staff is great. All the way from reception to the Dr. They were so gentle and kind with my dog. He explained everything very well and took time to answer all my questions. And it was very affordable. I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else.

I called to make an appointment for my mixed Pitbull and they very helpful and kind!.. they even told me that if they had an appointment cancellation earlier than mine.. they would do best to get me in sooner!!They were extremely kind and willing to help in anyway they could!!!I can't wait to see how my dog likes his new Doctor!!!

Great experience. I was referred their by a friend and I was really impressed. Kind very nice people to deal with.I just found a new vet for my critters. Highly recommended! I brought my dog their for an issue with her ear. I will use this vet for all my livestock. Simple down to earth.

For animals care it’s a good place but as for the staff I would give it zero stars if I could. when your waiting in the waiting room the staff should not be talking badly about the people who bring their pets in there I no that no one wants to work on Saturdays but when you still have people waiting for their animals to be seen you should not be talking about taken the dogs puppy’s if their ready to be taken or not and if you wait to have the c-section and the dog goes into labor on Sunday you will not come in the other vet may come in but no matter what you will not but before you start talking about the clients you should make sure their not sitting in the waiting room listening to everything your says but kind of sounds like to me you don’t care about the animals you only care about the pay check luckily it wasn’t my dog that I brought in because I would find another vet to take my animals to

My dog got sick with babesia after we had her Spade we thought she was having a hard time getting better so we took her back an mark did everything he could trying to save her but only a very few recovery from it. He is very caring and compassionate . I have been very happy with with Mark an will keep using him as my vet

WOULD RATE NEGATIVE STARS IF POSSIBLE.... BEWARE READ THE MULTIPLE 1 STAR REVIEWS....My family got our cat spayed because she needed it and we thought nothing of it. We usually go to Dr. Little who is an amazing Vet and would highly recommend over this. We got our cat back who was a female we did every precautions they said with the cat after surgery. Long story short, We woke up one day to her guts on the floor dragging as she walked and I talked to vets they said this is not a thing that commonly happens or of ever happens. They said it had to be the Vets fault for the procedure. We lost our little fur baby because of a bad procedure. Long story the family cat had to be put down due to her heart and guts falling out on the floor. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE IT WAS AN AWFUL DAY FOR THE FAMILY......
