If it wasn't for the fact of the one cashier always rude to my kids when they ask to keep something out of the bag would be higher. And my kids are very polite.. I get compliments about them constantly.

This place is very racist, well in fact the whole area is racist. A black woman refused to help me . ..I never understood why I was treated so badly by a black woman...lol I guess CHATTANOOGA just doesn't want BEAUTIFUL HISPANIC women in their city or at least in this area. This Dollar General wasn't the only Business that gave me & my friends a hard time. At Chillis 🌶 restaurant they made us wait over an hour to get a table while other people who walked in got seated. SAD SAD SAD 😔

Great staff, always friendly. Store looses a point for that disgusting bleach smell that all dollar stores seem to love :( Means you can't buy certain items there unless you want that smell in them, paper goods, food, clothes. But always my first stop for school party supplies, holiday items and stationary

Ok place to shop for basic household items and groceries. It's the only store on Signal Mnt. where you can shop for food and household items so we are thankful for that but it does stay pretty busy and it gets crowded quickly because it's not a very big store ! It's normally stocked pretty well and most of the items are reasonably affordable. They have one self check out line and two registers. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Great for quick trips when I don't want to go all the way to Walmart. Great price on milk and bread or dog food. They carry a lot of the same brands as Walmart and at comparable prices. So if you run out of something before it's time to go to Wal-Mart for your weekly or monthly supplies, check out the Dollar General store. I'm sure they have something that will fill the bill.

Rating would be higher if stocking was more consistent. They are continuing to work on solving problems which arise from expansion. They also need to properly staff this highest grossing Dollar General in Tennessee.

The associate on the sales floor was very helpful. She took the time to show me where the item was, rather than pointing. That's what I call customer service.

Over all nice placement. Organized and great selection however three lines are always slow w 2 or 3 ppl on the cloclk but only 1 line open.

Not a bad place to pick up your everyday good's. Typically speedy service depending on the hours. Cashiers are generally friendly.

I love this Dollar General Store! I believe the only downside is that the truck only comes once a week and there is not enough stock to keep up with all the customers.

I love Dollar General, especially the one on Signal Mountain. This is the busiest DG Iv ever seen, because it was so needed. We need it to become a DG market for sure!

This is typical Dollar General. The store on Signal Mountain is clean and uncluttered. Great for quick stuff. Prices reasonable.
