The most recent comment was obviously someone who is more worried about reptiles than anything else, even though he attempted to mention the birds.Granted, the beginnings of this store were subpar. I believe some of the first employees there were not capable of taking care of animals properly. And, yes. The reptiles were, at times, dry. But..The business has obviously had major improvements in the past year. The reptiles have been in much more appropriate conditions, the staff is more knowledgeable than before, and the prices are still as low as before! They have cleaned up the entire place: painted walls, built custom stands for the fish and small animals, and purchased the necessary equipment to best display and care for their stock.Pet Planet, though with a rocky beginning, has blossomed into an excellent stop for everything that you need for your animals. They are always willing to help you find anything that you are interested in! And being a small, family run business, they have the ability to get to know every customer on a personal level and treat them like the customer should be treated.

I rescue Sugar Gliders and even thought they don't specialize in Gliders they are always VERY helpful when i need something for one of my rescues. The owner stays busy but he has a good heart. I am glad to have them around, and don't know what i would do without them.
