It was an amazing experience! They have turned into a pet store as well! We had a great time we got to hold all kinds of animals! She was so sweet and was amazing with my baby girl! I absolutely recommend her to everyone if your looking for a addition to your family or need food for a pet she has it all! She i an amazing groomer and a friend to your pets ♥

The first time I took my dog to be groomed there her came home with fleas. They were super busy with other dogs so I can see how that could easily happen. My dog had the best cut he's ever had! He's 6 years old. I went back a second time. No fleas, but a couple of missed spots, but nothing major. Groomer was working alone so I understood. The people there are super nice, and my fur baby doesn't show any anxiety when I leave him. I do recommend!

We took our 15 year old golden doodle to this place today. They gave him a beautiful trim, and he was a happy dog when we fetched him. They don't keep them in kennels, they allow dogs to interact with other dogs in the shop, as long as your dog is friendly. Our dog has not been to a groomer in 3 months, and had a lot of needs. He's handsome again. Recommend this groomer.

I LOVE it here. I will never take my fur babies anywhere else. Katie, the owner, is always so friendly to ALL of her customers and goes out of the way to make sure they are happy. The pups love her too! I have a very hateful chihuahua and he is so good for her and loves it there! She also does an amazing job doing bath/blow outs on the bigger dogs like our German Shepherd and Alaskan Husky. 😍😍 oh not to forget, she did an AMAZING customer appreciation day yesterday and had PROFESSIONAL pictures taken and a free 8x10 given to the her customers with their pooches! Love it so much!! Would HIGHLY recommend.

Super friendly! They did an awesome job on our standard poodles for grooming. They also always have the crickets and meal worms we need. Have also purchased rabbits here, animals are treated extremely well!

We take both of our chihuahuas Titan and Zoey there and they always smell so good when she gets done... She does a excellent job on their toenails.. Will definitely keep taking there... Everyone is so polite and friendly.. And when I pick up my fur babies they are always so happy...

Very reasonable with pricing. Was given a four year old small dog with a deformity on both front paws , he badly needed his toenails trimmed to be able to walk better. She worked him in the same day I called! It was amazing the difference in his walking after the trim! Will be back !

As an owner of a large breed that is a service dog, I have to be VERY careful when choosing who cares for my dog. Not only does Katie at Shampooch do an amazing job on the difficult & technical cut off a Giant Schnauzer, but my sweet furbaby LOVES to go and I never have to worry about the experience she'll have there. Katie loves every dog that comes into her shop. I've seen her deal with very difficult situations in the past. She is very open and honest with an owner if she believes that they need to care for their pet a little differently, but only because she truly cares about the dogs and wants the best for them. She is also very understanding when she knows you need her help when you want what's best for the dog. We just love her to pieces and recommend her to everyone we meet. I have Had groomers from Knoxville, Nashville, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and California ask me who did such a fantastic job on my girl. I am proud to tell them, "Katie from Shampooch in little ole Newport, TN!"

Wonderful​ service! After being contacted by the owner we took both schnauzers back in... Not only did we receive an apology for the poor cut but a very gracious service and a very good cut.We will be happy to try them again.!! Most importanly both dogs seemed very happy and comfortable with them.And they now have a new groomer, who seemed to enjoy her work and if the pup that wad on the table is any indication of her skills she will be a keeper.

We went here for the first time today. The groomer did an excellent job, was very knowledgeable, and handled my dog well.I was most impressed with the fact that she was not at all afraid of my dog ( everybody else is afraid of my dog, even though she's the sweetest pookie in the world.)We will definitely be using this groomer for all six of our dogs from now on.

I took our 90 pound black lab/ golden retriever mix in for a bath and haircut. Not only was Katie EXTREMELY professional and knowledgeable about what we wanted she was kind and polite to our needs regarding Max. When we picked Max up he was done even BETTER than what we asked for and looked so fantastic! We paid exactly what she quoted us for a bath, haircut, and a nail trim. Anybody that says Katie is hateful must be a hateful person themselves! She is always kind and attentive to our pets grooming needs. If you haven't bathed or brushed your fog in a year and she quotes you a higher price than you were expecting, it's your own fault. Don't expect her to groom your dog once a year for the same price as she does for a regularly groomed dog!

I had an appointment scheduled this morning a 9am for two dogs to be groomed. No call to cancel, no contact about being late. Nothing. No communication at all. I waited along with someone else until about 925 (25 minutes after the scheduled appointment) and no one ever showed up. I called when I left and have yet to have someone contact me. Luckily I was able to get my girls in with a different local groomer. I am a business owner myself and this is one the most unacceptable things a business owner could do to a client, let alone a new client.

I love this place and would recommend it to anyone. I know at first it can be a little hectic in there and it may seem the owner is in a bad mood but she's not. She's only concerned with the dogs physical well being, getting the job done, and making sure she gets it done right. The only problem I have every had is setting up an appointment but that's neither here nor there because they will do theit best to work with you to find a day and time you can bring your little one in. And I can not stress enough how much she cares about making sure that your dog has a safe and friendly environment for when you drop them off. Best shop I've been to so far and that's saying something because the owner is pregnant and only has her husband to help unlike some of the other shops that have 5 people but never do anything right.

I don't recommend this place. My dog is big, so the lady who worked there had to wait until her friend got there to help. My dog was there for around 5 hours. Why the heck should a dog be there for 5 hours? They were supposed to wash her, shave her (except for a line down her back), and clip her nails. They washed her, shaved her, but didn't comb the fur line I asked to be kept there or clip her nails. And, she had a few nicks on her where they shaved her. And, she had a tick on her and they should've gotten it off.

We took our dog for the first time to Shampooch for grooming. We were very pleased with the thorough grooming, and especially a product they introduced us to called PlaqClnz Gel. This is a miracle product for freshening breath and whitening the dog's teeth! We bought a bottle and have been using it daily on him since he was groomed. Thank you so much!
