This store getting worse than ever they always have long lines at checkout because the only register that they use is self checkout that they have to be the one to check you out they only take cards no cash this has been the same way for weeks. Bad Management. What good is having self checkout if they have to be the one to check you out .

It's a dollar general... nothing special. Tight rows, items all over the floor waiting to be put away, people who working there don't say a word to you even at checkout. Nothing bad, nothing special... get your stuff and leave.

Staff was unable to help. I'd post negative stars if I could. Nothing stocked. This was the 4th visit and nothing had changed. Shop some where else.

I visit this store normally once or twice a week. The employees that work here are nice, polite and very helpful!! They help you with any questions or with what you need. Yes stock is low but it is low everywhere. They are doing there best to keep the product that they have out. It's not there fault that product is not coming into the store. All I can say is keep up the good work!!!!! Y'all are doing a great job!!

My husband and I were in there today and we had the nicest experience. The gentleman that was stocking the shelves went out of his way to make sure we found everything on our list, even bringing some of the items to me. And the young man that checked us out was so nice to.They had everything we needed for our stay in our cabin. This is our 3 visit to this store. 🤗

Stopped in to see what they had during our stay and this place needs to restock BADLY! They had full carts of items sitting in the aisles... ... how do they stay in business if all is on carts and not on the shelf???? Come on DG, I know your short staffed but lets get a program in place to get this stuff on the shelves. Why not adjust open/close hours so the staff can get shelves stocked???? I'm sure people would understand... just post signage about it.. just sayin!

This particular dollar general did not have alot of things that we needed,out of alot of stuff,especially the one thing we needed,trash bags,it makes ya wonder if they are ordering enough product

Great selection for everything we needed for our rented Cabin while staying in Pigeon Forge. The employees were very helpful and friendly. One in particular went above and beyond to make sure we found everything we needed. I highly recommend this store!!

Very convenient but depending on you get to check you out the service is usually bad. The young man in there is very nice and never had a problem but the women are usually odd at best. One has no problem telling people about her husband lack of ability to have sex. Very vulgar

This store is great. It has absolutely everything from dishwashing liquid to beef jerky and big bags of ice. This particular store, while not specifically organized, it does have like items in specific areas. It seems like the store moves a lot of product, maybe we caught them during a restocking session. Either way they will most likely have what you are looking for during your visit.

They might as well rip the “masks required” sign off the doors because they obviously don’t. Not only were the half dozen or so other customers without masks but the employees didn’t bother either. The clerk at the checkout had one but it was no higher than his chin. Not going there again.

My items included buy 2 get 1 free ladies wear. At register I mentioned this. No greeting or even acknowledged I spoke. Just rang them up, paid no attention that the 3rd item did not credit as free, according to advertised sale. I had to bring it to her attention, AGAIN! I was very polite & patient. She corrected credit by re-ringing all 3 @lower prices instead of crediting the 1 item. Amount was still too much, she rang up an extra amt by mistake. When I tried to point out her error, I got an I.D.G.A.F. attitude telling me that was amt I owed. I paid, went back 2 days later with my receipt & a man refunded me for her mistake. His attitude was same, no apology, no politeness whatsoever! I'm a kind person & loyal DG customer. Bad attitudes & impoliteness has no business in being a customer service employee & representing the company that employees you.

I have to say new remodel and new employess what a difference ! It's organized and the employees are very helpful and friendly ! Love it keep up the good work ! Congrats to the manager who ever it is they are doing a great job!

Close to home and very convenient. Not the greatest on stocking and having enough inventory on high demand item's but still not the worst. Very friendly employees who are pleasant to deal with on regular basis.

I really love the convenience of not having to drive all the way in town to grab something bit the employees are ridiculous. I went in to grab some cough medicine and ended up in a one sided conversation with the dark haired cashier about her husband being impotent and they can get Viagra. And look at the dates on canned goods, they sell expired food. My husband was up sick due to eating their expired hash.

I have never, not ever, been in a dollar general store that I have liked. Prices are not much better than Walmart, service is slow, not enough staff, most times I go in there is one person on register and one stocking. What kind of a customer friendly business model is that? It's not..........they get 3 stinkies for that!

Didn't catch the girls name but she didn't get up from her rolling chair to reach for items that were just "out of her reach...." she asked the customer to slide it her way. Aisles were packed with stock items at every single end cap so it was a tight squeeze. All in all, worse $1 general I've been to between here and America (Texas). Also the same girl was selling "wood bundles" that they didn't even have in stock. The chick that was apparently glued to the chair was what ticked me off the most.

Place looked like it was ransacked by Hurricane preparedness folks.....nothing on shelves. Guy running the register went outside to smoke while he had no customers... dude looked a little stoned also.. As the only place within 10miles open at 9pm it was my only option and it should be yours as well as an emergency only stop... Don't go unless you absolutely need to..

I've rated several Dollar General stores this is one of the better locations. Clean, well stocked great staff, The only con I have is that there was way too much stock in the aisle its hard for people to shop the shelves.

I was looking for lighter fluid, super glue and reading glasses. 0/3 products in stock. Shelves were empty, had to move a few carts just to walk down aisles. Pretty poor manegment I'm guessing.

Living only a few minutes from this location is very convenient. Unfortunately i have seen a large decline in the store since moving here 3 years ago. A store that was once very clean, organized and filled with friendly and helpful staff has now become a less than pleasent visit. The staff seams over worked and appear very irritated to say the very least when called upon for help. Many of the shelves are bare and most if not all aisle ways are littered with large boxes and carts. I usually enjoy finding small treasures for an amazing prize around christmas but was very dissapointed last year when almost all items labeled christmas on large brown delivery boxes where laid un-opened on shelves. When i asked an associate for help she said, "im not allowed to open the boxes up high because my store manager has to give approval." I also went in for my sons birthday to get large hellium balloons. They were not only out of all but a few but seemed very put out when asked to make them. I only express my opinion in hopes the right person will see this and make some positive changes. I love the convenience of the store being so close to my home and hope to be able to return again.

Dollar General is always a great value for your money... They also carry bread and milk and other canned goods so you can cover your basics here. If you're doing some quick shopping and want to save a few bucks swing on over here and get some soda or chips here and save some of your hard earned cash.

We go here alot because it's the only store in the valley prices are outrageous milk is almost $4.00 dollars that's crazy when krogers sell it for $2.95 sometimes $2.50 and the refunded policy is bad I understand if you really didnt have a recipe for something but to tell someone that has a recipe that you cant refund a item that was actually bought there is crazy and you take it to the dollar store in Townsend and they refunded it for you pretty messed up. Other then that it would be a great store cant wait till the remodel.

This is the nastiest store that I've ever walked into. Pure filth! Stock was setting blocking the shelves and isles. People were lined up at the register but no cashier was up front. I stood in line waiting, but finally a cashier came up, but only because the customers had screamed out " hey anyone work here". This is the laziest store. The manager is to blame for the example that they set.

I have been going here for years and while I like the recent renovations, unfortunately, they appear to be understaffed. At times it is hard to get through the aisles. I feel bad for the employees but this is the closest store Wears Valley has to purchase a variety of retail items, so it stays pretty busy.

Always easy in and easy out. Has what you need when your in a hurry and don't want to drive into town! But it's always kind of cluttered. Employees are always willing to help you find what you need.

Always stuff in isles, always out of everything, but there has been some recent clean up and the wait is no where near what it was before! Giving 3 starts cause an effort is being made.

They had what we needed which is always a plus but there were so many racks of unopened merchandise sitting in the way it was an absolute fire hazard. There were Isles you couldn't get down with a basket at all. I don't think the fire marshal would approve.
