This store lost business today. When I first entered the store I was overwhelmed by a strong nicotine odor. Initially, I thought maybe someone just blew it out as it came. I was certain it would die down when I got back toward the meat department which is where I needed to go. This is my first time in this store. Instead the smell of nicotine Permeated the entire store as well as the smell of mold. I was in that store less than five minutes and could hardly breathe. I turn around and left never to return. I ended up stopping at piggly wiggly going home and getting what I needed because I couldn't get it at walmart because their coolers were broke. They strong nicotine odor in that store. Tells me that they have no regard whatsoever. For the clean indoor air act, which requires places of business not to allow people to smoke inside their stores.

Great prices! For years, I shopped nothing but Walmart, but Save-A-Lot is saving me loads of money on the exact same items! Where I can easily spend $200+ at Wal-Mart, I'm spending $60-$80 at Save-A-Lot. My weekly grocery go-to now.

Their 12 packs of Soda are a $1.00 more than Walmart. But everything else was around the same price or a bit lower. Check prices as you go threw the store. In this new world we need to pinch every penny. I don't blame Save A Lot. Still a nice clean store. Always friendly!

Poor selection. Used to be a decent discount grocer but nowadays no cheaper than the rest who actually carry name brand. Food is often close to expiring if not past. Time to shop elsewhere. On the good side, friendly staff and great meat dept.

Love their produce section, fresher than the big chain stores. Why did you stop having cheddar cheese soup?? I also buy my fresh cut meats there. The quality and price of their meats is better than other stores. Also love the workers, and especially the cashiers. They are so kind, helpful, and it reminds me of the courteous service you used to get before big chain stores.

Our shopping experience today was somewhat surprising. I was expecting higher than usual pricing but was pleasantly surprised. Their meat prices were excellent. The quality looked good and there was plenty of it. Well worth the drive to get these prices. We definately will be back.

This is my favorite place to go when I need something quick! They have the best milk prices! The employees are always so nice especially the meat department! My only complaint is that the bathrooms are ALWAYS very unpleasant. They don’t look like they’ve been cleaned at all and smell terrible.

Savannah, TN is a great store to shop in. The store is clean, smells good, stock is rarely sitting and if it is there is someone putting it on shelves. The staff/cashiers are sweet, personable. Only great things to say about this place.

Love shopping here. The prices & selection help me stay on my budget. Clean & orderly. Friendly staff, and bless them, they put up with my husband's joking & give it right back to him. We usually end up laughing by the time we're checking out.

The store gets an 8 out of 10 for cleanliness. However the store name is a bit misleading. You do save money on little known brands that may or may not be what you originally wanted. But, the store as a whole is more like a low cost convenience /corner market than a full service supermarket. A plus is that you don't need to bring your own bags.

The young cashier with glasses again was so stand offish.Everytime I go in there she is that way.I know she is a sweet person cause I have been able to drag conversation out of herI firmly believe some customer or her life has just done wrong by her.But someone should tell her not everyone is a horrible person

Great prices, but i dropped my soda in the parking lot and had to argue a little bit to get a replacement. The supervisor was quite rude about me asking a replacement 12 pack of soda when the cardboard ripped in my fingers on the way to my car. Kroger up the road has replaced accidentally damaged products many times, with no grief whatsoever.

The prices are great and for the most part, the quality is good. Produce is limited compared to other grocery stores in the area. The frozen food section is surprisingly abundant. We got crab legs and crawfish at a much lower price than competition.

Love my save a lot .everyone there is always friendly. They are always very helpful. The only thing I will not buy there is their vegetables are mostly dried up or just nasty looking and over priced .compared to other stores in my area.

First time in the store. VERY CLEAN. The prices were about the same than Walmart. I did find few things I never seen in other stores. I am glad I stopped. I will be back.

Reading these reviews it seems that the owners really care about their business and customers. That gives me hope that there can be improvement. I was pretty disgusted by the produce. There were flies and gnats flying around which I can get over. But when I reached for a white onion, there were bugs crawling all over them. They looked like fleas. Then I started to look closer at all the other onions and they all had bugs. Hundreds. A complete infestation. Also the meat looked brown, like it was old. I went to find someone to tell them about the bugs but there was only one cashier and she was busy. As I walked out, the other lady I saw working there when I walked in was standing outside the door smoking. I just left. It would take some significant improvement before I considered shopping here again.
