Check the dates before you buy!!!I went a few days ago, I bought milk, a bag of pepperonis, and some Bob Evans mac and cheese. When I got home my son asked for pepperonis so I opened the bag and handed it to him to get a handful. When he passed the bag back I noticed they had MOLD growing on them. So then I started checking my other stuff, my milk had went out of date the day before and my Mac and cheese was 2 weeks out of date....I was mad I will not buy anything there without checking all the dates first from now on.

I love to come here for a few things quickly instead of feeding the real "PIG" of retail/groceries! They have a good selection of goods with fresh produce and meats with an actual butcher. Support your local grocery stores for their survival and for a little competition with Wal-Mart.

One of the oldest supermarkets in the area. It shows. It is usually dirty and smells bad, once so much I had to leave. Their prices are outrageous in comparison to other grocery stores. On a positive note, they have cool items you cannot purchase elsewhere and their meat is wonderful. Definitely not a place to do all of your grocery shopping but good for on sale items, unique items, and meat.

I just bought three absolutely delicious filet mignon steaks from here for a steal of a price. I don't cook well, but I tried these since they were so cheap. And they were the best steaks I've ever eaten. And since I can't normally cook anything that tastes good...I'm good at finding good restaurants. This actually was a better steak at a fraction of what it would have cost me at any of my favorite places. Hit up the meat dept next time you're here. I certainly will again... very soon! Just don't buy all the filet mignon. Save me some!

Piggy wiggly has some great deals and products. All the staff were nice and smiled but the environment didn't feel very happy. It's time to liven up the place and make it feel like a happy place and more inviting.

There was one gentleman there that was rude due to us being in the store 10 minutes after they closed. In my defense I had no idea they close at 8 i thought they closed at 9pm.Though, they could have come over the intercom and said that they close at 8pm and i would have went to the register. The casher and the tall slender gentleman were sweet. I just don’t understand how you can work in a business that runs on costumer service and treat others the way that i was treated. This ruined the rest of my night. I just wish that sometimes others would think Of others before they say stuff. I guess that is the world we live in today. Bad thing is i don’t live in savannah, I live an hour away and I was just in town to help my sister out. This really is a bad example of what the people are like in Savannah. Really makes the town look bad. Sad thing is, I work for a business where I have to be a professional and customer service is a must. If I was to disrespect another the way I was tonight I would be fired. I hope he has learned his lessons and though I feel he should be fired. I hope he won’t be, everyone makes mistakes, but we still have to live. I hope he was just having a bad. Anyway Everyone have a goodnight.

Great place to get hog jowl. As far as groceries go they are my #2 stop. Prices are better than Kroger. Selection is pretty good and there are less empty spaces than most stores have these days.

Nice variety of ice cream. I got fed up and disgusted w sav-a-lot selling over priced no name products on the verge of or past expiration and avoid Kroger due to the ridiculous way they treat drivers at their distribution centers, so it was good to find an alternative thats local.

This is a nice Grocery store, the only problem I run into here is the produce isn't usually very fresh. But they have actual baggers that bag your groceries and even take them to your car. Way better than Walmart that makes you scan your own groceries and bag them. Or stand in a long line for the only register open with a cashier. 30 lanes and only one open with a cashier. Walmart sucks

Savannah's Best Grocery Store. No, they don't have everything Walmart does, but I'd rather spend my money at the Pig any day. Sweet, hard working folks and well stocked goods.

I love my local Piggly Wiggly! Not only is it a great place to shop for good deals but when I was at the store today I accidentally left my cellphone there and they were nice enough to put it in the store safe until I could come back for it! When I realized I had left it there, I went back to get it and the manager was extremely nice and gave my phone back no problem! It's so nice to know that there are still honest people out there! Thank you so much Piggly Wiggly!

The prices are a little higher then what I am used to but not insane. I like that they have the pre-chopped prepped meal kits that's cheaper and easier than buying a bag of onions and potatoes and meat. They have everything you need right there and it's a decent price. and they have some stuff u can't find anywhere else. The only thing I didn't like is some of their meats are a little tough.

Not a very good to shop I don't think high prices I went in to get a head of lettuce $2.59cents about the size of a softball Kroger is my favorite store

Nowhere but the south can you find a supermarket like Piggly Wiggly. As we affectionately call this place, the Pig, we also acknowledge that you'll find helpful, courteous folks there, a sparkling clean environment, and some really great shopping values. If you're a carnivore, their meat section is the best around, as they have their own butcher. Expect to have your groceries taken out to your car by a friendly person, too. Overall, the Pig is a great place to do business.

5 for $20 deal is pretty good. I generally go here for meat, it's usually the cheapest place in town. Definitely want to use it or freeze it quick though, tends to turn fast. Also, there's one guy cashier that's super friendly (wish I knew your name!!) but anyone else, not really so much.

Love it..yes it's changed.. prices are so high now you can barely afford week worth of groceries and that's having to do without a lot already that I use to could buy...It's very discouraging to go in the store I always shopped at for years and the prices are so high that I'm depressed by the time I leave.
