The neighbors pit bull has woke me up barking most every night for the last three of four months it starts about 11:00 and goes till 2:30 or three I've been nice about this I've been there three times in the last two weeks I've even researched the laws on this that they didn't know about still they won't enforce them the old lady has been bragging around the neighborhood that's she friends with animal control this is far from being over I've got friends in high places in Nashville they will direct me to the government offices that I need to pursue this matter and let animal control tell the right officials why they won't enforce the laws of the state of Tennessee

So many sweet and adorable cats, kittens and dogs available here. Amazing adoption fee. Helpful and friendly staff, and very clean! Adopted our 4 dogs and 1 cat here, all are sooo sweet, with awesome personalities. You can tell the staff spends time with all of these babies. I highly recommend adopting your furbabies from hardin county animal shelter in savannah tn!

The girl behind the front desk was great. The only reason why I’m giving it 4 stars is because whomever my daughter talked to was very rude on the phone about seeing if they could take any kittens. I know it’s a hard job but don’t take it out on other people.

Got our cat from this facility about a month ago and we couldn't be happier with our new addition to the family! You can't beat what these guys charge for a cat adoption, they get their rabies shot and spayed/neutered for a pretty cheap fee. They have so many animals that need a good home, it's very sad. But I am glad my family was able to give one a good home! These guys are heros and deserve all the support our community can give them considering the number of abandoned cats and dogs wandering around. Please spay or neuter your animals!

Don't even wanna give them a star. So my parents wanted to adopt a dog. His name was Cass. When they showed us animals before they said they couldn't have a pit and when they went in and brought Cass out they said he had to pit in him. They tried calling everyday to check on their application and they either wasn't there to check it or kept telling them to call back in an hour everytime. They finally Called the landlord and said he was pit when we was told he wasn't. Got my little sisters hopes up on a dog she wanted. Already had his spot ready and wanted to get him food, treat and toys and now she's heartbroken. Definitely won't deal with them again.

Such a good place. My family and I had come across a dog in the road during a vacation in the area and didn't know what to do. We called HCAS and they not only stayed open for us to be able to come by, but were super friendly and kind. Turned out the dog had a chip!! So, hopefully she'll be reunited with her family soon ❤❤

The staff let me go through the and take as much time as I needed to pick the perfect dog.Kahlua has turned out to be exactly what I wanted. A family pet, a guardian, and mostly a FRIEND.They have lots of dogs/cats that are looking for their perfect owners/friends. Why go spend hundreds of dollars on a dog/cat you hope is right for you, when you can adopt a dog/cat that you have spent time interacting with and you know is perfect. The HCAS probably has the perfect friend just waiting.

Please spay/neuter your furry friends! Hardin County Animal Services is a No Kill shelter and they are nearly always full so you'll find several to fall in love with. If you can't adopt please donate time or food or supplies. Debby is a real doll, very helpful. We adopted Emma 7/7/18 and we couldn't be happier.

"They will lie and mislead you!" I went to see a kitten name Sas, they told me she wasn't ready for adoption n that I could do an adoption application n they would call me when was ready, since no one had did an application for adoption.I had checked on her routinely for several weeks, then they just up and told me that she was given away and that they no nothing about my application for adoption and this person that they have her too was the first.I was totally upset and ask to speak to someone of authority and was told that she was saying the same thing. This wasn't right! I had to eventually adopt a kitten from Petco.

This shelter works hard to find homes & to return pets that come up missing. Their volunteers are selfless & hard working. Adoption is good as the pet is "fixed" & shots updated.

Will not answer emails or Facebook messages. Will not let certain animals which are their “favorites” be adopted even when you go there in person. They’d rather keep them hidden in the back room in a cage for a year.

I found a very pregnant cat, she looked like she was going to pop at any moment it was cold out so I brought her to the animal shelter and they took her in and I heard that she had the babies but she was a C-section I believe, beautiful cat I give them 10 thumbs up.Thank you

I carried a dead dog up there per sherriff deputy instructions I wasn't the lady at the animal shelter but one of the volunteers kept asking me the same questions in a different way and not one bit of problem was any of her business she should have been doing her job because the place smells horrendous after a hour of interrogation it was finally decided that they should do their job and take the animal
