I’m calling corporate tomorrow old guy was rude and was laughing because they close early again. And 30 mins I have picture of store closed at 10:30 and the guy at a gray beard and was old with a black shirt needs to learn manners. They do this constantly people around here are tired of it happening look at other reviews I have to feed animals and they are the only one open at 10:30. Not just that but he constantly was shaking his head at me like I was in the wrong no you are closing early so you can go home. You’re not going to have a job if that’s how you treat people look at your reviews !!! As a place realize this guy is doing this every single night to try to leave and is rude

The store is rarely stocked and they have some of the rudest employees in town. Wendall is extremely rude and disrespectful. I recommend not going to that store.

Went into the store to buy a few things a hour before they closed both employees (1 was a manager which is to be expected) were in the office. I squeezed the squeaky toy they have an older lady came out and was hateful to me and the other customer in the store. She needs to work on her customer service skills or be left to stock the shelves. I understand people have bad days but that doesn't give reason to be hateful to customers.

Check out line was pretty long. Only one register was open. There were about 8-10 people in front of me and it took ten-fifteen minutes to get out. Had my shopping done quicker than I got through the line. But that was a Saturday evening so it might have just been busy at that particular time.

The manager or whatever tonight 02/17/2023 was pushy. We completely understand closing but working for dollar general myself. You don't follow your customers through the store saying how many minutes until close. Like I couldn't even shop for being followed. I get you want to go home but don't be pushy and rude. I'm even calling corporate on him at this point. Like he even stood at the door staring at us.

I went to the new dollar general market here in rocky top and the manager was very rude with me. My opinion is he shouldn't even be a manager. I think his name is Jason but I could be wrong he has no respect for customer. There was another time I went in there to buy meat and they had bad meat on the shelves I told a employee and she got yelled at. I will not be stopping there anymore I rather go to the original dollar general store

They was water in the floor with a mop sitting next to it, well it wasn't raining, and went to check out they only had the do it yourself register and when I had everything bagged up and ready to pay they "said can't you read cards only" and then wanted me to un bag it and go to the other one and do it again, I asked for help got a lot of them going in the opposite direction so I told them what I thought and left ,and their prices is outrageous I'm glad I don't have to trade there.

Still a fire hazard. Used self checkout and it went back to do this to pay. And was told I had to do it hit pay now before inputting my card information. Did all that and still didn't work.

Long line. Cashier (Robert on my receipt) was at register, shooting the breeze with another employee, but told everyone to use the self checkout register. The self checkout register did not work. 6-7 people waited in line a long time. Poor management.

Shout out to the Manager Lisa for not making a simple exchange a nightmare. The public appreciates the little things when someone takes the time to be kind. Great little store with hard working staff. I have had some rough jobs in my day, but I only lasted like 3 weeks years ago trying to do this job. Please appreciate your employees and pay them a decent wage. They are on the front lines during a pandemic while everyone else is safe at home. It's not rocket science, pay them well and they will stay. Why not pay good employees a little more instead of hiring and firing and wasting all those man hours. Thanks to you all for your hard work. Good job!

The store was extremely busy, one person on lunch and the acting manager just ricked it. She was ringing up customers, directing them to where the merchandise was they wanted, answering ever question asked and doing this with saying thank you for your patience. Wow. I have never been in a place ran so well. Great job and it was us who should have said thank you for your patience. Im so impressed.

Found nutrisures and light bulbs on sale with the app for 0.01 They wouldn't give it to me at all! Knowing they will throw it in a trash as soon as I leave. If it rings up on the app, you should sell the product ..period!!!

This store only employs lazy people. There are carts and carts of stock that needs to be stocked and they are outside in their phone's smoking. They have nothing on the shelves

My wife went in for some personal items while I waited in the car. I decided I needed to use the restroom I went in to use the bathroom the sign said out of order till further notice. Since I had used the restroom at the Speedwell store a month earlier I know its not covid related. So the manager must be responsible for the restroom being closed.

Absolutely horrible shopping experience. They have what I need, but it's either behind or on a stock cart that has been sitting there 10 as of today! Always a long wait at the checkout....I have no clue why, there NOT putting up stock! I wouldn't even give them one star if this would let me post my thoughts without one. Lost my business and I was usually in there at least twice a week, sometimes three times!

Alot of items are always out of stock. Registers have been torn up for months. You can't get to items because aisles are blocked by new stock not put up. 3 stars because Staff is always friendly and truly tries! Always apologies for the store issues.

I like the convenience offered by this location with their later operation hours of 11 P.M.However, by 10 P.M. most of the lights have been turned off within the store, along with the exterior lights. The only problem this raises for me personally, is that it makes finding products and more difficult. I almost need a flashlight.Employees are meh

Product is so random, need to allow management to order stock for these stores so Product supplies to the area making it more personalized to the customers in that area!

.I can't ever use my coupons im always told no coupons found. Place is a mess compared to all other stores myself have been too. 90 percent of the time there is a line backed up all through the store. Most of the employees are kind. I think needs to be better management or even more employees to get the store organized better

They don't take card payments 90% of the time and don't bother paying with anything bigger than a 20. Id understand if they atleast said they don't take bigger bills due to a change shortage but it's because they constantly get fakes. Overall just keep driving to literally anywhere else.

It's ALWAYS and I stress ALWAYS cluttered when I go into this store. Only DG around here that is slow putting up their stock. It seems it sets for days. 7 out 10 times, I either have to get what is not stocked off the carts myself or go without it. There is a couple of workers that do not mind getting it for me tho.

The store is clean and arranged better than most other Dollar type stores. The manager helped me with my items and getting the buggy back in place as my back was hurting me so bad. He went above and beyond his duties. I thank him and the store for being there when I needed it.

Had great customer service with the girl that was the cashier last night she was by herself and still took care of everyone she had in line she never got stressed out over how many people she had in line if I could remember her name i would call and give her a great review thank you to the red headed girl last night for your customer service you were excellent 🙂🙂🙂🙂

This is the worst Dollar General store I've ever seen. Waited at checkout for 11 minutes to buy a box of crackers. The manager wouldn't help ring customers up. Must be too important. Cashier thought that playing with customers and giggling was more important than ringing up customers. Rocky Top customers need to bath before using their EBT cards and stinking the place up. I'll stop at a gas station, outside Rocky Top, and buy crackers before I ever stop in that junkie's paradise again.

Love the fact that this location Has fresh fruit and some frozen items that was a + and the staff are helpful . The down side is the registers are often not working properly so, there may be long lines and longer wait times.

They are having a 50 percent off 21-23 August, but the signs were on everything from home to detergent so the only 1 person working had to call her manager and had to write down the only few summer things actually 50% off. Sad

The staff there now is pretty nice and look like they have it together.It's normally pretty busy here because the local grocery store just closed and everyone goes here now of they don't want to drive to the Walmart.
