The General Store is a wonderful addition to this community. The work that was put into this 1900s building has completely met and exceeded expectations. There is still some work to be done, and a selection of local items that need more volume and variety. This is, of course, to be expected for a store that is just starting, and in the future, would earn my 5th star. But this place has huge potential for growth that could meet the needs of locals or patrons passing through. This only adds to the growth and progress of this community, and I look forward to witnessing what progress will follow. (Try one of the soon to be famous Coal Creek Sandwiches, they are great!)

What a great experience. We just moved here from Key West and we had to get some local honey for our allergies. The family that owns it was fantastic. I got a fried bologna sandwich as well which is amazing.

A touch of home, this general store really gives you a sense of a community. It gives you both a modern feel while giving you a taste of the good ol' days. If you happen to find yourself taking a scenic route, or maybe you have craving for locally made BBQ sauce honey or maybe your just wanna try some dill pickle fudge. This is the place to check out. Come by and say hi and have a bologna sandwich.

First time visiting this charming business. Home town folks with home grown friendliness. There were several customers there and we were all getting fried bologna sandwiches.My fiancé and I got one on wheat and one on white with lettuce, tomato and mustard.They were fantastic.I will definitely stop here again!

Not sure why this place would deserve any less than 5 stars. I disagree with the previous reviewer giving 4 stars. In a small place like Rocky Top the General Store has gone all out to provide for the local community. Great job guys. We appreciate all you do for the town. 10 stars if I could give them.

Shopped here a week ago and enjoyed a delicious fried bologna sandwich. While there bought some grass fed short ribs that we grilled to perfection - they were outstanding. We had another set of short ribs from the grocery store and it was night and day. One set shrank to the size of a quarter and the ones from Coal Creek were substantial. Highly recommend a visit.

my first experience was amazing so much selection Billy Boyd one of the employees there has incredible knowledge about every product and Miracle in the deli made some fried bologna sammiches that were out of this world!!

Wonderful store for local food and crafts. The owners are super nice and helpful. Highly recommend a trip to their store. Try the smoked bologna sandwich if you get a chance!! Good place for souvenirs as well.

This is a nice general store! Perfect stop for moon pies and drinks. The staff are nice & everything is tidy and easy to look thru. We also purchased freeze dried candy and Amish soap there. 👍
