This was our second time dining here and it was nothing short of AMAZING. The food was excellent and hot and fresh and the staff so on the ball and it was a perfect way to have my Mothers Day lunch today. The kids told me I could choose anywhere I wanted and this is what I chose. My whole family loves the food as well and generous portions. We love the history it has there too. I will be sure to Recommend the Fried Tater cage to Others as well.Vegetarian options: There is a fair amount of things to pick from.Dietary restrictions: They have great salads and many more items than fried food.Parking: The Handicap is in the back of the Diner for easier access in to the diner. In the front are 3 steps.Kid-friendliness: Lots ofGames toPlay at the table while waiting.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room in the diner

Fantastic! It's unassuming because of it's size and location but the food and service is amazing. The owner is very friendly and really cares about his restaurant. The students who run front of the house are always very polite and helpful for whatever you need. The cooks make the food perfectly every time! Great atmosphere. It has quickly become one of me and my coworkers favorite places to grab lunch.

Don’t run here, SPRINT! A true gem tucked away. If you see this and you think ahh this place is too far, shut up and go. The food is delicious and is truly a place you’d find on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. The Fired Okra is easily the best I’ve ever had, don’t tell my mother-in-law. Patty Melt is out of this world flavorful and the Philly might be my new go to.Service.. it’s the bomb. Everyone is friendly and goes the extra mile. Suck what the haters say, they can’t be please regardless.

Found this place on a Google search form fried catfish. Was very excited to see a new (to us) option in the area. Waited about 20 minutes for a table at 6 on a Friday night- not bad in my opinion. And, yes, the cafe is small so a wait is not out of the question. Service was great, the guys were very friendly and helpful. Food came out in a very reasonable timeframe. Fried okra was a great start. The catfish was hot and crunchy... no soggy fish here! All in all, a very good experience. Going to return soon and try a burger or patty melt.

First time stopping in, and the family all enjoyed it. Catfish, chicken sandwich, cheesesteak sandwich, and bbq sandwich were all enjoyed. For desert, the banana pudding my son had was great, and I ordered the fried blackberry pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream which was great. Service was excellent and glad not to fight Murfreesboro Friday evening crowds for dinner. Would recommend when in area and will return

Quick google search while we were in the vicinity lead us to this cafe. Took a chance and so glad we did! 5 of us and each got a different sandwich but everyone was happy with our choices. Also tried the tater tornado for a starter and it was great too. It's a small but quaint spot "twenty minutes from anywhere" per our server. Sandwiches we had were chicken salad on toasted Texas style toast, avocado burger, western burger, Reuben sandwich, and BBQ sandwich. Worth a try y'all!!

The food is amazing! Best fried green tomatoes. The place is small but it’s super friendly and you can have a lot of fun with the family! There’s even a child’s area full of coloring books and game activities. It’s a lot of fun!! Also, try the corn nuggets you’ll thank me later;)

This place is a little hole in the wall but the food is amazing! The services when we came was great! Definitely going to come again. We had the fried cheese curds as an appetizer, and they have a little kick of spice, but oooohhh so good! For lunch we had the mushroom havarti burger with tater tots and the patty melt with corn nuggets. The seating is open. Just an amazing little place!!! If you get the cheese curds ask for the dill and cheese dip!!! The dip compliments the fried cheese curds superbly.

Met up with my wife here for a weeknight dinner. The food was outstanding! When they brought my fried chicken out the smell brought a rush of memories. It was like I was at my grandma's house again. If you haven't been here, you are missing out.

We stumbled across this little gem today. The breakfast buffet food was great. Hubby had a hamburger and said it was tasty and juicy, just like homemade. They use locally sourced meats. Melissa, the owner, is very sweet and has a great story. Take the time to go visit and get lunch. You won’t regret it!

No lettuce for hamburgers (which was the persons favorite part of the hamburger fixins). No BBQ sauce on the BBQ pork sandwich, buns fell apart on the sandwiches/ hamburgers. Tater tots were ok. The Cole slaw had a strange chemical taste, so i didn't eat it. Approximately 1 hour wait for the food. For 4 meals, it was over $70.00. On a good note, my Patty Melt was very good.

What a great little family owned local restaurant! The building and decor is the very definition of rustic with tons of local history. The breakfast bar was just ok, but the patty melt was amazing!! Great people here! We will definitely stop by again when we are in the area!

3 ⭐️ - one and doneI had high expectations, maybe a little to high, when I came here. We came here for saturday brunch. I had a breakfast plate where you choose from their buffet line. I had their countryfried steak, egss, homemade skillet potatoes and biscuit and gravy. We also tried their philly cheese steak ‘n fries. Everything was good but not great. The atmosphere was cute as well. I can see how the owners are really trying to make a go for this place and the idea is fantastic. Service was so-so and can use a little but more tweaking to be more effcient. It’s a good option when you are in Rockvale but there are much better similar places in surrounding areas.

My daughter and I got chicken tenders from their food truck and they were borderline inedible. Every one was burnt. They also forgot our dipping sauce. We ended up going back out to get something different to eat they were so bad. To top it off, the guy at the window was obsessed with tips. He mentioned it at least 3 times as I was checking out. Food was overpriced as well. I paid $22 for 6 burnt chicken tenders and the equivalent of a large fry (adult meal and a kids meal). Very off-putting.

We tried a new to us Cafe today. Saturdays they are open for breakfast & lunch. We had lunch. Sandwiches 🥪—BLT & Reuben. Both were on French bread 🥖 like cornbread. A first for us but delicious!! The sandwiches were really good. We both tried the fried okra as our side. Large servings & good. We ordered the Starter— the fried tator—Long spiral sliced deep fried potatoes 🥔 with dips. Very tasty. Weekday evenings they have meat & 3 we were told. You should try them. There’s long history for this little building in this community. We wish this family the best! Visit soon.

Great little local spot to stop at for a quick lunch. Everything is made fresh and quickly, with friendly staff. Building can be a little warm since it is a historical location with metal siding, and cellphone reception was very limited inside, but these were small prices to pay for such excellent food.

Fantastic little place to have lunch or breakfast. The Philly was probably one of the best Phillys I've ever had! Service is great too. Very neat place, with the detour.
