This is a gem in the rock island state park!After a good hike or just driving around the park, this trolley stop is a really good resting, relaxing spot for you and your loved ones.Lots of amazing ice-cream flavors, milk shakes, hot dogs, and other fun snacky to choose from.The people running this shop are super friendly and helpful, and the service overall is fast and right!Note - currently, they don't accept any card payments, either cash, venmo, or PayPal only.They got small parking and restrooms onsite. Overall, it's a fun place!

The atmosphere was wonderful with games for the kids and adults to play. We felt the food was mediocre at best. What I didn’t like about it was the fact I had to go up there 5 times to get food for three people. Plus to ask for a spoon and another time to get napkins as only one table had napkins. Other than that we had fun and probably will go back because who doesn’t like a little ice cream? I just wish they would have napkins and spoons more accessible and we didn’t have to get up so many times to get food and ice cream.Edit: came back to try again and while the food was better again this place had no napkins on tables but they did have spoons and such out if extras were needed. I also tried 2 different energy drinks and they were disappointing to say the least. Probably the worst I have ever had and I couldn’t drink either. The atmosphere was the same.

Went for their valentines event. I was very excited to try this place. The event was outdoors, so it was cold. They had a fire going, but it didn't help, the igloo was not lit up, so we thought it was closed, they turned on the lights after we left, as we were driving off. We ordered off their menu, ordered pretzel, no pretzels, order nachos, no nachos, order strawberry milk shake, no strawberries. Mind you this girl taking my order is answering me with a scowl on her face, extremely rude. We're out, don't have that, rolling her eyes. Finally I order something they do have, 2 chili cheese dogs with mustard and onion, must not have had cheese, because we didn't get any. The girl calls my name, so I go over to where she come out before delivering food, and a man comes over and tells me to go around. I go around, she opens the window and scolds me, rudely, with a scowl, what do you want? I explained that this man came and told me to pick up my order here, she says I don't know who your listening to, but we are the only 2 here, and you need to wait over there, pointing to where I just come from. So I went back and sat down. This man who told me to go to the window must of been her boss, because I had to go back and order something else and heard the rude girl say to him, we didn't realize you were here. Then she was just as sweet as she could be, when I walked up this time. The other girl wouldn't even come to the window to help, so I couldn't tell you if she spoke rudely, but she did roll her eyes at me when I went to the window for my order.I had never been there, did not know their procedures. We left the singing early because our night was ruined by the very rude, poor service. Nice concept, the food was average. The milkshake I could get was good. Get rid of the blonde girl that was working that night. She is awful rude, and we won't be back because of her.They did finally turn on some patio heaters right before we left.The singing was lovely.

Discovered this cute eating place on the way to Rock Island State Park. They had a large inflatable igloo that was heated and a fireplace to sit and enjoy your food or beverages. The ice cream menu looked amazing.Will visit again when out that way, we just stopped for hot chocolate (yummy) from the hike at Rock Island State Park.

Perfect way to end a day of hiking and exploring nature. I had the Mountain Man shake. It was amazing and surprisingly not overly sweet. The sweetest was the roasted marshmallows. If you love s'mores, you've got to try it.

I had such high hopes and was so excited to try this place!! We arrived and there were 2 people in front of us. We ordered 1 milkshake and 1 sundae. We sat for 30 minutes watching people who ordered after us order get their order. eat and leave and there we sat waiting. Eventually a lady stuck her head out and asked what we ordered. 20 minutes after that we went to ask about our order. Then we finally got our melted ice cream. Over 50 minutes for ice cream that wasn’t anything special? I’d say just be prepared to wait if you go.

Trolley stop was fun to visit! Ice cream tasted great . The kids enjoyed the stop, too. They have outdoor games to play while waiting. The prices were ok. For the most part, the employees were friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean.

Atmosphere is good here, if you are hungry it’s one of the few local options, convenience store also, everyone knows everyone here, staff is good, awesome burger with fries, love this place after rock hopping over at the falls.

Good food, Horrible service!! We had just arrived in this town the day before ,for hiking and camping. We saw this trolley place and thought we’d try something new. No line, we went straight up and ordered. Ice cream was amazing and coffee was good but was kinda cold, but not bad. So after our long day of hiking today we thought we’d stop again, since it was so good the day before. When we got there, there was a short line, but we were willing to wait. But one of the 3 young ladies that were working there, had a friend that was in line and she took their order no problems and even chatted and caught up, which was frustrating but we knew we were next! Then as we walk up she said “hold on” and shuts the window. After that she never opened it again. We waited for 30 minutes, in the cold for nothing. While they sat on their phones and ate. Basically ignoring all the customers outside. They lost us as customers and many other families who waited behind us that had ended up giving up too. You’ll have better luck going to the market across the street.

Hands down the best iced coffee I've had. Wife ordered an iced pumpkin spice latter I got a caramel latte. Both were extremely well made and from someone who is so enthusiastic!They also sell hardened-glass mugs with wood tops and a hole for a straw. Perfect to keep for needing a coffee on the go, a shake, or whatever you need. Theyre durable too! The lady told us that she dropped one of them quite a few times, never cracked. It took extremely strong winds to send it flyin' and hitting a concrete surface for it to break! Great mug!They have games too there for kids!

We came from Texas to visit my mom who is new to the area and we were looking for something to do. We came out for ice cream and it was delicious. We loved the set up the tables and there were games set up on some tables to keep my littles distracted while we waited for our treats.

If you want ice cream this might not be the place for you. BUT if you like standing in line for half an hour without even ordering yet and then give up and walk across the street to buy an ice cream sandwich from the small market, then by all means give this place a try. After hiking all around Twin Falls, our large family group wanted some iced coffee drinks. Since the coffee trolley was not open we decided to get ice cream. Some of us got in line to order and others sat down to rest after our long hike. After about 30 minutes all but 2 of our group gave up and walked across the street, as I've already said. That's 9 people that walked away. I watched at least a dozen other people give up and drive away. There seemed to be 3 young women working. But God bless 'em, there wasn't an ounce of hustle in any of the 3. We watched them take 4 or 5 orders, close the window and then slowly fill those orders. About every 15-20 minutes they'd open the window and take a few more orders. The ice cream they were serving up looked delicious, but we just didn't have the 2 hours it would take to get our order. So we followed the example of many others and left. No ice cream for us. But who knows - maybe you'll have better luck than we did.

I really wanted to enjoy this neat experience but unfortunately the whole visit was a disaster took over 30 minutes for them to take our order then about the same or more to get 5 simples scoops of ice cream since supposedly our order was “misplaced” very disorganized & staff on their phones at times instead of working. I do understand they were super busy but our experience was uncalled for they saw us still sitting there after giving out orders order after us & it wasn’t until I finally said something they got us our order. I would suggest having one employee dedicated to simple orders such as cups & cones & the others on the speciality items.

We stood in line for 20 minutes waiting to order. One of the employees was telling some girl that her manager had to beg her to come back to work there. It took another 20 minutes to get our ice cream. The whipped cream on all of ice cream tasted ruined and the drinks in the cooler were hot. None of the employees seemed like they wanted to be there. Definitely a one timer.

A little bit slow, but once we got our shakes I understood why it took the extra time. No napkins provided, had to wait at the trolley to ask for some. There should be napkin holders on the tables or even better, each order should come with a wet wipe.

Great little ice cream shop with interesting milkshakes and sundaes. I can't wait to go back again and the milkshake that had an entire brownie on top or s'mores. Everything looked very tasty.
