Very unique diner as it is in a small functioning post office. The food I has was delicious. It was a really nice salad from their salad bar and a 12 oz rib eye steak cooked as specified, a sweet potato with butter and brown sugar and buttered Texas toast. I totally forgot to get a picture but I really enjoyed the meal. Only problem I saw is that the dinning area is a bit over crowded and the wait was a bit long. All the staff was very friendly and good at their jobs.

Fine dining country style, so put on clean overalls and get there early to get a table or stand in line. You know this place is the lifeblood of the community because it also serves as the post office! They start you with a basket of hushpuppies, then take a trip to the smallish salad bar. Steaks are outstanding with a wonderful smoky flavor. Fish is on par with other restaurants in the area. I will go back!

Nice place to eat. Great food, awesome salad bar. My husband really brags on the whole fish, I love the pork chops. So far everything we have tried has been very good. Love the atmosphere of being in the old post office.

I was not impressed. I order a cheeseburger that was clearly a frozen packaged patty. It arrived at the table lukewarm and the cheese wasn't even melted. The French fries were cold and clearly out of a package. For an order that took an hour I'd expect homemade.

The food here is awesome, doesn’t matter if you prefer steak or fish they are both delicious. Has a small salad bar and a lot of friendly faces. Small town vibe. If you haven’t tried the food here make sure it’s on your bucket list.

We used to LOVE this place. The sweet tea is phenomenal but recently it has gone down. My steak was severely under cooked. And we ordered two of their whole cakes for my sons first birthday party one strawberry and one coconut. The strawberry was fine but when I cut into the coconut cake it was strawberry cake instead of yellow. I called and all the owner said was yeah I thought it looked kind of dark......

Always have whatever the special is. Haven’t been disappointed yet! The sirloin special you can cut with a fork. Hush puppies are the best I have ever tasted. Bring cash.

Jim's is a rural, small-town, cash-only restaurant. The service is pretty good. They serve comfort food. It's retty good. It's worth a visit. The atmosphere is quite crowded, because the restaurant is small. It used to be a post office, so that added some character to the place. It's a neat local place .

Great breakfast, country ham, biscuits and gravy. And even better supper: fried catfish, steaks, baked sweet potatoes. Don't skip dessert! Especially the coconut cake!
