I am so happy with how The Spot 4 Dogs took care of and trained our dog, Cashew. He took the three week board and train. After, Cashew has shown tremendous calming and has learned commands so well. We’ve been so happy to spend time on walks with our buddy and take him out to places we would have been nervous for historically. Would definitely recommend!

We had wonderful experience! It was our first time with a trainer for one of our dogs and The Spot 4 Dogs was great. Everything was explained and you can tell they really love they do and the dogs they work with. Zelda loved going to training every day and she is so well behaved and does so well out in public around both people and other dogs. Highly recommend!!!

Couldn’t recommended enough! Jason and his team were awesome- he met with us at our house beforehand to talk about training and our concerns and questions. We put our crazy one year old golden retriever, Cashew, through the 3 week board and train. He came back a COMPLETELY different dog.He respects + obeys us more and is overall more content being around us/laying around the house. He is doing very well off leash and can impressively stay in “place” for a long time! We understand we will need to consistently continue our training with him at home, but so far he is doing so well and happy doing it!If you are struggling and becoming disheartened training your dog- use his services! You will not be disappointed.

I recently finished their 15 day off-leash training course with my 9 month old doberman. I can't say enough about how amazing everyone at this facility is. Jason, the owner always seems to go out of his way to make sure you are taken care of. Kinzie, his trainer did an amazing job training my Atlas and he absolutely loved her! Jake, one of the other trainers was always so positive and encouraging with us. The girls at the front desk are always so kind and helpful. I've been taking him to daycare since his training is finished and he loves it so much. He has a place to burn off all of that puppy energy and he gets the socialization he needs. I've been so happy with all of their other services, I decided to have him groomed there as well. They were able to work me in fairly quickly and when I picked him up, he looked and smelled amazing! I can't recommend the facility and staff here enough.

I cannot say enough great things about The Spot 4 Dogs! Our 11 month Chocolate Lab, Zoë, is high energy and required a lot of attention. Wouldn’t listen to the important commands like “come” and “stay” and nearly impossible to walk on leash. I knew we had to do something soon! It was always a priority for us to have her trained, so the 21-day board and train was the option we chose. On the 2nd full day of being home, we took her to my daughter’s house and “placed” her during dinner. Took 2 tries, but she stayed in place the whole time! Even my 6-yr old granddaughter said “now that’s a good dog”!Jake was amazing and kept us updated often on her progress. We’ve also used the daycare and grooming services. The staff is amazing and super friendly. Highly recommend all services!

I can’t thank Jake & the Spot4Dogs team enough for their amazing help with my 8-month old husky/terrier mix. She was very skittish, stubborn, and sassy before arriving at their facility. After doing the 3-week off-leash training, she is a completely different dog. She has picked up on all her commands and is still doing amazing. They also made it an easy transition by helping me learn all her new commands. This program is worth the money/investment.My family also took our lab and border collie to them and it has been life changing for the dogs and us as a family.

I can’t sing the praises of Jason and the team at The Spot 4 Dogs enough. We were at our wits end with our 8 month-old German Shorthair Pointer. His behavior was HORRIBLE, and we didn’t know where to turn or what to do. We ended up putting him through the 3-week board and train off-leash course and it’s the best decision we’ve ever made with him. Of course, he’s still very high energy but we are able to manage it much better now. If you’re on the fence, do it- you won’t regret it! We now send our dog to daycare twice a week (which he loves), and use them to board him when we are out of town. Great company, great owners, they truly love dogs, can’t recommend enough!!

Our puppy Lane just recently graduated from The Spot 4 Dogs train and board program! We had the best experience with Kinzie and the whole company! We loved our weekly updates and watching Lane learn so much. He’s doing so well at home. He’s a very stubborn boy so we’re still practicing at home but he’s so much better than when he left us. We highly recommend the program!

I took my 6 month old cane corso puppy to the Spot 4 Dogs for training back in May. He spent 3 weeks with Jake and came home a completely different, well behaved puppy. He is 10 months old now, weighing over 100 lbs. I can confidently walk him off leash, take him into stores and my favorite part is that I can take him downtown to visit the local breweries and he is a perfect gentleman. In fact, he is a crowd favorite!

My dog was trained by Jake with the 3 week boarding training, and she is a changed dog! She has never listened better and came back way more calm. She does so well with all her commands. This is her with the “place” command while we were eating dinner and stayed there until we finished. So pleased that we took our business there! Highly recommend if you are looking for structure/obedience for your dog.

So glad I went to The Spot 4 Dogs. I had my 2 golden retrievers off-leash trained and couldn’t be more happy with the results. I used to dread taking my dogs anywhere because of their constant tugging and barking, but now I look forward to taking them on walks and go out of my way to do so. Couldn’t ask for more well behaved dogs and I owe that to Jake (their primary trainer I believe) and The Spot 4 dogs.

We recently picked up my dog from her 3-week board and train at the spot 4 dogs and I can’t say enough great things about them. As she is a little over a year old she’s pretty well trained, but still had issues with off and on leash training. Anytime we walked her she was always pulling us and walks were seen as more of chore. Now she can walk alongside us with or without a leash and doesn’t leave our side! My husband even took her on a 2 mile run without a leash and she was amazing. Our trainer, David, truly worked so well with her. She also was groomed during her stay and she looks great! I also loved that they even trained her at Market Square, Worlds Fair Park and Home Depot. The Spot 4 Dogs is the best in town!

We took our 9 month old Great Pyrenees/Lab mix to The Spot 4 Dogs for training. We chose the daily drop off class which lasted for 3 weeks. Maggie received great care and super training. She is walking off leash with us on walks and comes on command as well as performs a number of other tasks the first time we ask. We were so impressed with her training that we took our 5 year old Bernadoodle to them for confidence building - as she was afraid of everything. They not only instilled much needed confidence in Bella but she is so much more happy and content. I don't know how they did it but we will take it. I have also used their grooming services for Bella - and they will always be our groomer. Thank you to Jason and David for their exceptional training and to the groomers as well. Hi!My name is Duke 🐶 and I am 2.5 years old and lab and part blue healer. I’m a very handsome boy and most of the time I’m perfect, but a few weeks ago I had a bad day, a VERY bad day and tried to eat my big brother, Toby. Toby and I are normally buddies, but I lost my manners one afternoon and it really upset my mommy. So my mommy sent me to doggy boot camp at The Spot 4 Dogs. At first I was a little confused that I had to go to camp , but once I was there David and Jason were so much fun I almost forgot I was away from my mom! I loved spending time with my trainer David! He’s so awesome and patient and made everything fun! He took me on hikes, took me to the dog park and socialized me with people I’ve never met! I have a little confidence issue but David helped me fix that…well I’m working on it! My mom got photos of me having the time of my life! Which made her smile as she’s a total helicopter mom. 🙄 My mom was allowed to visit me and it was always great to see her in our own private area, she gave me belly rubs for like 45 min! I learned so much while I was at camp and I highly recommend it to anyone! I know how to sit, stay, down and to walk off leash with my mom now. She was SO IMPRESSED with Jason and his very friendly demeanor and the willingness to help me. I could tell he really cared about my well being. I also know he had to deal with my crazy mother so he is a pretty good guy, she really is a helicopter mom! Whether you were a bad boy like I was, or you just need a refresher course in good manners, it’s a great place to hang out, learn a few new things, and enjoy some afternoon treats!😎

We are so happy with Harley’s training. She is more obedient and her aggression is so much better!! She is more lovable and happy now. She is like a different dog with her resource guarding. Would definitely recommend and will be using again for other services.

Our 4 year old Samoyed, Tuukka, went to The Spot 4 Dogs 3 week program for board and train. Being new dog owners The Spot 4 Dogs was not only able to train our dog Tuukka to be obedient in any given situation but they also helped and trained my partner and I on how to provide the best possible structure for our dog. We are very grateful for their help and they did a wonderful job efficiently and effectively training our dog to be extremely obedient. 10/10 would highly recommend! The trainers are wonderful!

Our little Jed just completed his 3 week board and train with Trainer Jake, and is a new dog! We are so impressed with the progress that he made in such a short span. Jake also sent us update videos and pictures while showing off his new skills downtown and on hikes! We are also so thankful that we can come back for “refresher” classes for the rest of his life! Cannot recommend The Spot 4 Dogs enough. He will also be going back for doggie day care to socialize with all of his new friends!

Jake and Jason are phenomenal trainers that taught our two boys, Tuukka and Rugger on how to be model citizens! I can’t begin to say how much of a relief it is to be able to bring your dogs somewhere and know they’ll behave and not hesitant with commands. Wonderful, dedicated and the most caring trainers we’ve ever worked with. They get results and genuinely care about a dogs mental health! Great guys! 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend!

Boarded my dog for 4 nights and she was returned with bloody spots on all 4 legs, hindquarters, and nose. She clearly wasn't cared for, and I'm not confident she was even fed her meals after seeing her condition. They never informed me of a problem, but simply took my money after exceptionally poor service. Luckily my friend was able to pick her up to reduce time at this facility.Would not recommend.

We picked up our 7 year old Border Collie today. She looked happy, healthy and well-trained. She did everything Jason commanded even while being so happy to see us. I know it was hard for her to contain her zoomies!Jason explained to us how to continue her training at home. Verbal and written instructions were given to us. We are very happy to have her home and willing to do the work. Thank you to Jason and all his staff.PS: The training center was clean, well maintained and comfortable for my dog.Excellent service!

I am extremely impressed with Savanna and her dog grooming skills! I have a rescue Golden Retriever who isn't fond of strangers or strangers petting him let alone a bath. I have taken him 2 times to Savanna and she has been excellent with my dog My dog actually likes her and was a good boy (which is HUGE) I highly recommend Savanna

I waited a week after picking our 5 month old puppy Milly up from her 3-week board and train before writing a review, because some things are just too good to be true! The Spot 4 Dogs, Milly's trainer Jake, and the board and train program have been a game changer for us!! Milly is a German Shepherd/Bloodhound mix. Prior to training she was INSANE! She terrorized our boys, constantly trying to herd them, nipping and jumping at them the second they walked into the room. She was everywhere in the house and made working from home while watching her a major chore! Walking her on a leash was a nightmare. We were at our wits end! Since returning home she has been awesome and able to be a part of our family and we have enjoyed her so much! She listens to everyone in the house and follows all of her commands. It has been fun to work with her and we are thankful that we now have the tools to communicate better with her. We take her outside and play fetch and she stays right with us in the driveway or front yard. She seems much more content now too, being able to relax in her place. We have even been able to acclimate our older dog to her. We cannot say enough about the results. It was a reset for her and our family and has been worth every penny!! We look forward to many happy years with her now! Thank you!

Words can’t describe how awesome Jason and his team are! Our dog was very stubborn, would not listen, wouldn’t walk on leash let alone off leash. After the 21 day off leash training she is a whole new dog, our confidence level has sky rocketing. We were able to come by once a week to see her, and then at graduation/pick up walked through the training. After bringing her home and continuing training with us she is so amazing. They are truly amazing to work with and great at what they do! We were so thrilled by the outcome our new puppy started his 21 day board and train with them. I can’t wait to be able to go out confidently with both of them off leash where ever we decide! We can’t thank Jason and his team enough for the awesome experience! I would highly recommend the spot 4 dogs for all they’re training options and day care! Zoey loved it so much that we signed her up for weekly day care as well to keep her active during the day and socializing! Thanks again Jason!

did not review wrong place, see receipt. 0 stars for boarding!! Neglected our dog! (Riley). Many months ago, We tried doggie day care for a week, didn’t work out. Figured our dog was the problem, he has very high anxiety. Was confused why they told us “he did great everyday”. Didn’t matter at that point. We boarded him this past weekend there and I am absolutely livid!!! When picked up, our dog was covered in feces head to paws..dried and fresh!! They were given a local phone number to call who would have gladly picked him up as opposed to him covered in his own poo all weekend!! First of all they should have called the owner, and emergency contact. Should be SOP for dogs they board if dog is having problems and facility will not or aren’t equipped, or willing to deal with these issues. They should have called us and let us know digestives problems, and they were unable, or unwilling to handle (due to price list we were given? sure their response will refer to price list as most other responses do), Repulsive and uncompassionate. Do Not board your dog here. Can’t wait to see their response turning blame on us as they do in every other bad review. You didn’t pay for bathing etc. clearly stated in paperwork and you didn’t pay for bathing. Etc blah blah. He was neglected and facility made 0 attempts to communicate with owner) special circumstance, IE if he gets covered in poo, you should bath and charge is FINE!!!) we didn’t pay to have our dog neglected. One phone call, would have gladly added on bathing, cut trip early, had him picked up by emergency contact, as opposed to poor guy laying in his feces. Common sense and compassion. Only truly caring boarding facility would get this. Not once have I heard this company admit fault to anything. Everyone is human. Everything can’t be, refer to price list!! Communication people. U have phones?? I would never let a dog stay at this place. you have to pay extra for compassion and common sense. Not on their price list, obviously every bad review refers to the list. Also why no Sunday pick ups ? Don’t say you’re understaffed on Sunday, I know you are, obviously you don’t employ enough to even care for the dogs. Communication with dog owners is terrible!!! Same for Their daycare, often what they tell u Is untrue due to poor communication between front desk and back. Let’s see what excuse they have now for a dog being covered in dry and and fresh poo under their watch. Owner’s go to , “I was there, didn’t happen” & Price list bets?? Are they gonna condone negligence? Why not call owner or emergency contact!! I banking on price list or “clearly stated”. Posted invoice, Riley was boarded at Spot for dogs, see invoice.

We rescued a one-year old Goldendoodle that was completely out of control almost to the point of giving him up. After the 3-week training during the days with Jake he heels, sits/stays, places…almost completely eliminated the “attention deficit” issues we had. Can hardly believe it’s the same dog! Highly recommend.

First time looking for doggie daycare, so wasn't sure what to expect and had questions. Was greeted by a very apathetic front desk lady. Asked about liability in case my dog was injured and was told that the facility would assume liability if hurt there. She also stated that "every time an animal has been injured since she has worked there, the owner of the facility has paid". She hurried out to get the trainer for evaluation of my pup and upon returning, she handed me some papers to sign. I read everything I sign, so upon reading the papers it states that in case of medical attention being needed, the owner is fully responsible (which is fine if that is what I was initially told). When I mentioned it to her, she shrugged her shoulders and had a condescending smirk on her face and reiterated her previous comments. Should have been a red flag earlier when she stated that "every time an animal is injured". I had asked how many attendants are with dogs and she stated 1 attendant and when it hits 30 dogs they bring in 2. Way too many dogs for that few attendants. Left me with too many questions and not enough clear answers to feel comfortable leaving my pup here. May be a great business, but ask your questions and do your due diligence for your own peace of mind.

My golden retriever Franklin just finished his 3 week day training course. His behavior has completely changed and he is much more confident. He isn’t barking or growling at other dogs anymore, and he will ignore the TV now as well. The day care service is also great and he has made a bunch of friends. Jake was his trainer and made me feel confident in Frankie’s new behavior as well. You can tell everyone truly loves dogs there, and I will continue to bring Franklin here for day care and grooming.
