I wished, I could give negative stars. This pharmacy is the worst I have ever seen.Some are swearing and dropping the "f-bomb" regularly, the others are not even able to speak full sentences. The customer is not greeted. All this young man said, "name!" , "Date of Birth!" , "Name!"When asking a question, he only gives one-word answers.In addition, his tone is very rude.I will never go back there.

Pharmacy's are the private version of a DMV office, maybe worse. Monday night they wouldn't fill a perscription because this stupidity over it's a narcotic and can only be refilled on tuesday ( for context I was there getting an antibiotic monday night and asked about the wife's perscriptions what was ready and they said tomorrow on that one ). So tuesday she called them at 1025am to remind them she was picking that and her celebrex and the 1 I left monday night, they said they are busy come this afternoon. We check in at 1600 and they say 20 or 30 minutes and they'll have her perscription from monday night ready and her 1 that's ready then. 1635 i order a pizza at papa johns but cvs still being a POS pharmacy nothing is ready. I start kinda making a scene and go to get the pizza ( it's ready before the perscription is ). I'm back at 1700 with a getting cold dinner and I call the wife 2 time's from out front, we left around 1710 and argued all the way home about this issue. For context she takes 7.5 oxycodone and acetaminophine like 500 idk, her comments to me made me mad, she says they probably thought I was pushing to get her perscription like a junkie, truth is no i wanted a hot dinner at home, i'll take a drug test anytime, second she sqy's this particular pharmacy, the more you rush the slower they go. I shouldn't be arguing with my wife because these crummy jack @$$3$ of people can't get a perscription ready they were called about @1025, checked in @1600 and told give them 20 to 30 minutes to package it, and leave @1710 with 15 minute old pizza in the car because papa johns can bake a pizza in the time frame given and cvs is 40 minutes past the 30 minutes they gave us!

Always friendly, but always UNDER staffed and slow due to this. CVS needs to staff this facility especially the pharmacy so these amazing employees can do their job! Who is regional over this place? Need to help the staff out bc this is not fair. I'm surprised these staff members are still working here. I'm not sure why online it says they are open but the window is closed?? Again staff your stores !

Matt in the pharmacy was so incredibly helpful and went above and beyond helping me get a non-optional, life sustaining medication. He did some troubleshooting with my insurance and once that was solved he helped me find a pharmacy that had it I. Stock to get it asap. ( Due to the insurance troubles I was running very, very low).

To the tall man with white hair ....in the red shirt ,who I'm assuming was the manager , the next time you see a woman in the feminine aisle , don't hover....she's not trying to steal ... she is looking and deciding what to purchase !Please give her the common courtesy and take your manager skills and tend to the teenager you have checking people out. Give her a cup of coffee, she looked like she just got out of the bed . Will not be back!

If I could give this CVS Pharmacy a lower score than 1, I would. The pharmacy REFUSES to answer the phone ever. The store manager will even will tell you that, but he can't do anything about it as he is not over them. He says he tries by going back to tell them to answer the calls, but they ignore him as well. The pharmacy department claims they are too busy to answer phone calls. However, that’s no reason as you can hire more help with everyone that needs a job right now. But with the people they have right now, they really don’t work much as is because the medication is never filled until you go to get it most times and then you are waiting close to an hour to get it then. Someone really needs to step in and straighten the technicians at CVS pharmacy in Portland, TN to show them how work should be done and how to treat customers. Absolutely ridiculous how they treat people. No wonder most have went to Walgreens. Much better service over at Walgreens so I don't blame anyone who leaves this store for another pharmacy. Even calling the corporate office is miserable. They don't even pick up the phones there.

Absolute trash of a pharmacy. Rude workers if you can even get their attention. The girl doing med pickup wouldn't look in the VA Community Care for insurance information. Then when I couldn't afford it she was rude.Went to buy OTC supplies to substitute my prescription and couldn't get a worker up front.

Took 2 prescriptions for my dad on Sunday when they opened at 10. 1 for an antibiotic. 1 for pain, he has a fractured pelvis and is 77 years old. First I was told it would take 45min to an hour, then told that the script for pain was invalid. I took both scripts to Portland prescription this morning and they were filled within 10min. CVS staff was rude and basically accused me if trying to give them a fake script.

This pharmacy is continuously overwhelmed by the volume of work. The staff that work here are wonderful. I’ve avoided taking my business elsewhere because of how kind and helpful they are but it seems like whoever in corporate is in charge of staffing and supplying this pharmacy clearly does not care. Today I was on hold for over an hour on three separate occasions, it wasn’t until I drove into town to make my request that I was able to progress. At 1pm I was told the medication would be filled “at close”. At 7:30 pm I drove back into town to see if my medication was ready, the cvs staff at the drive through window advised me that the medication was out and that it would be ready mid day on Monday. This is a medication that cannot be transferred to another pharmacy unless the doctor resubmits the script. Had this pharmacy been properly staffed for the volume of business they receive then they could have contacted myself so that I could have contact my doctor and sent the script to another location. Consistently ignoring the need for additional support in creates a situation where the service you provide is so poor it makes you wonder why even provide it at all.

There is definitely a long wait in the drive thru and when calling but the few staff members in the pharmacy they do have, Erica and Dawn, are doing the best they can. They go above and beyond but are overwhelmed because of a staff shortage and they still get their customers taken care of. CVS CORPORATION NEEDS TO STEP UP AND GET THESE OVERWHELMED AND OVERWORKED LADIES SOME HELP!!!!

Although some of the staff are very friendly and helpful there are a couple of employees that honestly don't want to take the time with you or are short/rude to customers. The pharmacy as a whole needs to fully train the techs before they are allowed to interact with customers. On numerous occasions we have been told wrong information. Examples are emergency doses, when medication will be ordered or that they have medication in stock when in fact it's not in stock. Sometimes the wait in drive through is 20+ mins long and inside can be worse! But there are the few employees who really love their job and go above and beyond which is why we will continue to use this pharmacy.

I found the staff from the front to the pharmacy to be very friendly. That was my first time at this pharmacy and they were very helpful. I will definitely be a repeat customer and highly recommended them.

I tried to call the pharmacy Monday August 16th around 11: 00. I sat on the phone for 28 minutes on my lunch, until I just had to hang up and go back in. Wouldn't be a big deal if this was the 1st time but its not . So in addition to you taking three times what other pharmacies take to feel your prescription you also don't know how to pick up the phone long story short, you're horrible! I'll be going to Portland prescription shop from now on

Pharmacy staff is pretty bad here. Being a former tech for CVS for 5 years. They like to make up "store" rules on filling prescriptions. Longest drive thru lines I have ever seen. If your insurance allows, Walgreens is right across the intersection.

Rude! Never have prescriptions ready, takes a very long time for someone to answer the phone, if they answer at all. If you go up there they will say you have to wait or should come back later. THAT IS the point of calling so I don’t have to wait! I will be changing pharmacies! Over it!

Sine Brian Dwenger came to the Portland, TN CVS, the cutomer service has improved drastically. We got our last Covid Booter there and he was so caring. I hope this reaches his supervisor. This is a person who cares and makes a difference.

I have called them 3 times this week in the pharmacy and waited for over an hour each time and no one answers. They keep trying to fill medication that I told them I don't take anymore so I'm calling my insurance to see what other pharmacy I can use . This is super horrible customer service. I've been a customer for over 20 years this is unexcusable

Good selection of greeting cards and other items. Great BOGO sale on vitamins. Service was good staff seemed knowledgeable and asked if I needed help. It was not crowded and the photo was an error that was for FoodLion next door.

I just moved to the area from NC and the staff here is as friendly, if not more so, than those at my NC home location. If you have a question or require unique attention Edwin is the pharm to see. He's very knowledgeable and helpful. The tech's could use a bit more urgency in their operations. Everyone there has been great except for one tech. She's an older white haired lady that seems to know everyone in the town and will proceed to have 'small talk' conversations with everyone she knows. Very annoying when the line is 5 people deep. She is ditzy and you have to watch her every move or she will make mistakes pulling your medications or checking you out at the register. Avoid her for the optimum experience.I think a lot of the employees frustration comes from dealing with pill seekers or trashy/rude customers. Every time I've visited there has been some jerk redneck upset because they wouldn't fill their controlled substances early (I only know because they make a scene and tell everyone their business) or some sort of Medicade issues.In summary don't be a douche and you won't be treated like one - general life rule ;-)

REALLY helpful and friendly employees! My 3 year old ran away from me in the store and a lady who worked there found him hiding in the next isle and convinced him to come out. Then helped him pick out some things we needed by color and shape! I can't remember her name but it was the best experience I have ever had in a store!

Took 3 days to get a prescription that they had in stock. Waited on hold for over 45 minutes to ask if it was ready. Went up there to pick it up and the staff was coping an attitude and the pharmacist said to me "I hope it's ready too" and "everybody got problems and everybody is going to die".

Waited in line for 20 min, then was told they didn't have the prescription ready...it was called in 4 hours earlier. So, I went back 3 hours later and still had to wait in line another 20 min. Took me all day to get my prescription!

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I don’t know how this place is still open. They never have your meds at the time you’re suppose to pick up. If they don’t have something in stock they don’t tell you, EVEN IF ITS LIFE SAVING MEDICATION. We move a lot and have used so many pharmacies but this one is by far the worst.

I can be only one waiting and it would take up to ten minutes to be waiting on. They are so slow. Another problem with pharmacy they would tell me they would fax my doctor for more refills and doctors office never got it. I have even been short changed on medications but didn't notice it until two weeks later.
