We bought baskets to repair a sink. Just as soon as you enter this store, the employees ask if they can help you find something. That really helps you save time. I think they have anything you could need for your home or garden.

If you are going to be closed have hours posted on the door and not have employees leaning on the counters doing nothing send them home this is ridiculous! Every time I try to come to this store there is always a problem! This location should be shut down! You guys don't want money anyways!

I was there for 15 minutes or more no one asked me do I need any help, and they had plenty of workers on the floor, so I sat in the rocking chair.what I needed was on the top shelf and the items was to far back for me to reach. I had to get my comb out and use it to knock down the items and pull it forward so I can get it. No one asked me do I need some help. No one

Great to have this place close-by. They were friendly and usually had what I needed. Staff have repeatedly made this a great place. Examples: A woman, knowledgeable about tools helped get the right one, a man in hardware repeatedly helped find oddball bolts and other items. Thanks much to them and others who have helped. Thanks.UPDATE: I've been here several times since I wrote that and they have been consistently very helpful. I could probably do with them being open a bit past five, but in any case I've had very good experiences here and will continue to patron this store.UPDATE: I've had several visits and which I had strange requests that I wasn't really sure what I was after. The gentleman who helped on a couple of these would often ponder the idea with me and we came up with good solutions. This alone would be enough for me to return. The back office has also been very helpful when I needed it.

They are never open after work. They keep closing at 5. I can't get there before 5. I'm still working too. Atleast stay open until 6. When another big box store like home depot opens closer to your Ace hardware than you would like, they will put you out of business. As it is I already don't use your store anymore and I definitely wont use your store anymore if you don't change the closing times. Redic.

Friendly customer service and a great selection of products close to home. They go out of their way to understand your project and connect you with the most knowledgeable staff member for any questions. I've never heard an "I don't know" or gone without a suggestion of where I can get any material they don't carry.

Ace Hardware (Portland) has the best customer service of any retail establishment that I have ever visited. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Product selection is quite large too. The manager Mark was very helpful in helping me locate the size I needed. I believe it is the size of the Scottsville and Bowling Green stores put together. I highly recommend this Portland Ace Hardware for any and all your hardware needs.

Came here after I got off work for a bit and it surprised me that they close at 5pm which is odd but anyways I went in here and asked for some help finding something and they had the manager help me look for it. Now they lock the doors and its closing time and the cashier & im guessing the supervisor I asked for help sat there being snobby about having to wait on me and just rude. Never going there for anything I'd rather drive to Franklin KY or Gallatin. For anything I need. The people at Advanced Auto Parts were more helpful than ace.

Tennessee Hardware now known as Ace Hardware is the best place to get weird bolt and nut sizes! They have them all!!! They also have anything you're looking for for a home project. Plumbing, electrical, yard, garden, whatever! The staff is really helpful!

As soon as you walk through the door your always greeted and asked if you need assistance with anything. There are always sales floor associates throughout the store in the event you do need help. Everyone there is always helpful in suggesting the best product(s) to suit whatever need you have. All around great, helpful and friendly staff. This is my only go to hardware store!!!!

This little hardware store is a real treat! The service and advice is absolutely what is missing in today's big box stores, from the moment you walk in until you're back in your car. I feel like it's a cross between Mayberry and Grand Torino! Great placed, great people, surprising variety of goods.
