This is my local store it is convenient to my home but I continue to be disappointed, they are never stocked and constantly out of groceries, also I often stop in the morning I’m waiting on the doors to open before my work commute, very often they fail to open on time which is an issue when I’m trying to get to work. This DG Market is the one I choose over & over again, over all the other nearby locations. The service is always awesome with friendly staff for sure. I like that they often have every thing I need. Highly recommend to come!

I liked it better before they added the popshelf. They do have cute things at a low price but seems like they don't have as much of the essentials anymore 😕 🤔

This is such a convenient location for me. Every single employee that I encountered today went out of their way to be kind, polite, and helpful. They had everything I was needing for my quick trip. It would have been nice for everyone, both customers and cashier, had their been more than one register available.

This place was a great place to go and the prices were more than fair. They had a lot of good deals and had an outside table for super discounts. The store was large and the staff were polite and helpful. I ended up spending a lot of money because of the prices. Look over your merchandise carefully for flaws before you leave because I noticed the seams on an item I purchased after I got home and the seams were defective...its a convenient off the side of the road location and very easy to see from the car. Check it out 😉

I shop here probably twice a week and it's almost always a ridiculous experience. There's always going to be a goofy story to tell your family after leaving here whether it's the other patrons or the staff. It's relatively clean and the rework of the layout was an excellent choice. It's much more attractive and easier to navigate.

The Doller General Store is one my favorite places to shop. It's easy to get in and out. The store carries great products for your home as well as good food that's priced just right. The employees that work there are nice and friendly. It's really just a great place to shop. I give 5 stars over and over again.

Its convenient. Sometimes you can get good deals, sometimes the deals aren't so good. Im not fond of the packaged meat (chops, chicken steaks etc). They always seem a bit slimy. The staff is fabulous though. Always very nice.

I used to regularly shop at this dollar general. I mainly shopped there because it is convenient. I never had issues with the staff but they were never especially nice. I used to shop there several times a week either early morning or late at night. However, since the COVID-19 outbreak I have rarely observed the staff wearing masks even though Dollar General has a mask rule. I asked about it in the store and I emailed the dollar general corporation two different times about their employees not wearing masks. I never received any response and nothing at the store changed. I have stopped shopping there since it is unsafe and the employees don’t even follow their own store policies. The majority of the people who shop there don’t wear masks either. I do think that if the staff was all wearing masks like they should be that the customers would be more likely to follow the store policy also & wear masks.

This was my first visit to a Dollar General Market, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was really clean and had some of the foods in it that I can actually eat, like healthy bagged salads and gluten free options. The fruit selection was also really good.

I was forced to wear a mask in your store to purchase the items I needed. Cheatham County does not mandate mask. It's not your job or responsibility to worried about my health. If you're so worried about me wearing a mask why don't you spray off the buggies after each are used? Why don't you wipe off the door handles? I've lived in this community for over 45 years I will be sure to remember my last visit at your location the next time I'm in Pleasant View and in need of items.

This is Dollar General store at its best. This has produce and other products that you would find at other major grocery stores with Dollar General prices. This particular store is spacious and very clean. The staff is friendly and a helpful. I highly recommend trying this store for you daily shopping needs.

Great for quick stops sometimes. Sometimes they only have 1 register open with a huge line of people. They have outdated registers and scanners that sometimes don't work and the register workers don't know how to do anything beyond normal cash register use: scan, and total items up. I asked about loading money onto a card and the register lady threw her hands up and walked away saying she doesn't know how to do that. Even the manager didn't know how.

Great store but they're not enforcing masks. Half the customers walking around there today did not have masks on. There is a sign on the door saying You must wear a mask when you walk in.

Over and above I love the fruit and veggie's that always seem to be on sale. The store is clean and organized with no problem finding almost everything I need per store ad. I also indulge in the DG coupon's which save me a few dollars.

I shop here often, because it's close to my house if I don't have time for a Walmart trip. It's small so the selection is limited but they have the basics you need and the produce is usually a much better quality than the other grocery store in Pleasant View.

This is a well kept DG Market. Good size but they sometimes don't have items I need. This particular visit, I needed heavy whipping cream. I had to go to a regular grocery store to find it even though this DG has a large grocery section.

It's a quick place to run in, if your running short of food or need a few items to hold you over. Sometimes you even find things that our big Super center don't carry.

Always enjoy my experience at my local Dollar General Market,this market has the best produce by far as compared to the Walmart in my opinion. The employees are always helpful and friendly.My only problem is having to show ID when I write a check,you would think after all these years there registers like Walmart would save this information.

Good clean store. Lots of choses. Friendly, helpful staff and workers. Its where I shop every week. Some things are a bit higher than say Wal-Mart. But Wal-Mart is to big for me to walk in to get gro. This store perfect size. I like that that they have gro. As well as clothes and many other things . I'm in my sixties, so like I said. Perfect for me.

Worst place to go. Poor management and worst of all they take there sweet time doing one simple thing. ("Need the keys for the cigarette cabinate" good 5 minute wait, "need manger authorization"takes them another 5 minutes know that the manager office is right next to it.) also there are a few customers who refuse to wait and start being racist nonintentionally.

One of the two main grocery options in Pleasant View, Dollar General or HG Hills. So here are my observations.Dollar GeneralBananas are nearly always $0.55 lb.Salad mixes are good but worth waiting for the 1/2 off deals when they're 2 days from expiring.Meats are cheaper

I usually go early morning and the morning crew is always really friendly and helpful. Convenient location and good variety of items. Very fresh produce as well.
