Tiny was cool we got to see the Distillery Tour on how the moonshine is made plus had Julia Ann Roberts Perform which she sings great. You should try the Apple Pie Moonshine. .awesome

Scared to death we weren't gonna make it off the property alive (think Deliverance). Long dirt road leading past abandoned (old hospital-like) buildings...and an ancient hearse out in the pasture.But boy-howdy were we pleasantly surprised! Once inside this highly modernized and sterile micro-distillery, we were treated to the kindest welcome and samples of the most luscious flavors I never knew existed! So good that us teetotalers stuffed our luggage full of shine to take home to the kids (the grown-ups that is).I drop a few licks in my green tea and voila, I've got me a sweet caramel or peach 'teashine!'This was without question one of the absolute highlights of my wife and my 5-state tour of Dixie!

I recently visited the distillery and took the tasting tour. The tour was informative and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We sampled a variety of moonshines, and I was impressed with the quality of the products. My favorites were the cinnamon roll and the banana.In addition to the tasting room, the distillery also has a gift shop where you can purchase moonshine, as well as other souvenirs. There is also a small outdoor seating area where you can enjoy your moonshine and take in the views of the surrounding mountains.Overall, I had a great experience at East Tennessee Distillery. The moonshine is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the setting is beautiful. Pretty neat place. I really enjoyed my visit. The staff is super friendly, made me feel right at home. Every sample I tried was very good. They definitely know what there doing. I highly recommend this place. It was a fun experience, go see them you won't be disappointed.

Great place to visit!! Staff is super friendly! You can taste 4 varieties of moonshine to help you decide which ones to purchase. My favorites were the cinnamon roll & strawberry. We were able to walk into the distilling area & view the process. I will definitely be back!!

My husband and I were met at the door by Wilbur/Wilber, who was incredibly kind and helpful. Inside the store, we were helped by Gary, one of the owners. He was very patient with us as he offered free samples of various flavors of moonshine. If you like strong moonshine, then visit East Tennessee Distillery. You will not be disappointed.

Stayed here as a Harvest Host guest. Sampled the moonshine at check in. Wish I remembered their names, two lovely ladies helped us. We chose the Watermelon (was excellent in our blueberry iced sweet tea) Caramel ( which we used to make fried apples to go with pork chops...yummmm) and the Banana which we were told goes great in chocolate milkshakes.... can't wait!!! We also went back the next morning 😂 and purchased Apple Pie, Peach and a Ghost Pepper option for gifts!! Prices are very reasonable. The ladies that helped us were just the nicest people and very knowledgeable. They made great suggestions and one explained to me that the reason that I didn't get a migraine as I typically do with alcohol was due to their distilling process that removes the things that make me sick!! Fascinating. Oh and they also ship to a handful of states.

Great place, you get that traditional feeling of bootleggers! Lol 😆If you go during dark, you might feel lost, but there are clear directions once you enter the main gate.The store itself is small, but you got a variety of moonshine flavors.150, 100 and 70 proof shine. When it comes to flavors, there are - banana, coconut, peach, grapes, blackberry, honey, ghost pepper, root beer.All are great! You could sample as many you want to. The people at the store are very friendly and informative.

Try the new cinnamon it is awesome, everything here tastes great highly recommended. You're lucky that I don't live up there, I would be probably camped out at your doorstep waiting for more. You guys makes awesome shine very addictive.

This is the absolute best moonshine I've ever had. They have incredible flavors! I'm a huge fan of the 150 proof myself but their butterscotch flavor is amazing too. Dorothy and Tiny are salt of the earth people who provide the world with one of God's greatest gifts, great customer service(and delicious liquor). If you get a chance to pay them a visit, do it!

Friendliest place with amazing smoothies..Blackberry is my all time favorite. The staff are super knowledgeable and very entertaining. It would be shameful not to visit here when making your travel plans to Tennessee. COME ON AND GET YOUR SHINE ON :)

Good moonshine tastings. Awesome, friendly staff. We even met "Tiny" the owner. Got a distellery tour and bought some Honey/ginger moonshine to take back home. Highly recommend for a quit pit stop after the Bristol speedway visit!!!!

We were greeted by sweet lady that immediately offered us samples after asking how we were. Upon leaving we met Gary, co-owner, we talked about cars, food, and his operation. As we were fixing to leave he offered up a very nice gesture, a little something to enjoy one of his products with. I'd give more stars if I was allowed.P.S. you're 100% correct Gary, lemonade gies great with the strawberry shine. Thank you

We sampled your moonshine last week and loved them all !! We took home Many bottles back to Ct. for family members . Taste testing was fun and we also met TINY on our tour out back. We loved how he explained the process of making moonshine and the home made parts for processing and bottling, He was so funny and made us feel at home. Great little distillery close to Bristol Speedway. Staff is very friendly even Tiny came down to greet us. They make the best banana shine and if you like Bloddy Mary's pick up a bottle of their Ghost Pepper. We stop every year...we will keep coming as long as they are there.
