I love this location because it is well stocked and clean. The only reason I have it 4 stars is because the prices tend to be a bit higher here due to the fact that it’s in a tourist hot spot location. The staff is always willing to assist in any way. It’s certainly the place to go to pick up a thing or two you need , as well as stock up on every day items.

Twice now I have shopped here, while staying nearby. Each time I've had to use the only self check out that has a conveyer belt. Every time I ring up groceries there is always an issue. Yesterday, a guy took 17 minutes checking out 8 items. Finally he was done...my turn. The store was packed...on a Wednesday at 4pm. I had approx 20 items. I decided to use the scanner gun...cuz the guy infront of me had a hard time with the regular scanner. When I start to scan...nothing rings up. I wait a bit...finally an older lady comes over...machine needs paper. I have to wait some more. I was polite enough to thank her and she made no reply so I asked if she heard me. Her only reply? "I heard you." Everything...surprisingly is ringing up fine using the scanner gun...However, the conveyer belt wasn't advancing the food forward. The same older woman comes over and says "nothing is ringing up"...cuz the conveyer belt isn't advancing I show her...the screen shows everything rang up so far....but she proceeds to ring up groceries I already rang up. More time wasted as she takes off items that I already rang up. I pointed out maybe the belt wasn't working because I was using the scanner gun. Now she starts going through all my groceries...without any reason...to compare to what was rung up. A lot more time wasted. I proceeded to ring up some hummus, noodles & Kool Aid (she also bagged my groceries which I asked her not to do... as somehow my chicken disappeared the last time I had an issue with this same self check out and another lady bagged my food. I drove home, that night without my main source of dinner!) The woman she did as she pleased and bagged my stuff. I went to ring up the last item....sweet potatoes and had to use the regular scanner and it all came up on screen...beeped but as I went to pay...she runs over saying the sweet potatoes didn't ring up. She is right about this ONE item. How they are ringing up and beeping but a second later... not on the screen is mystifying. I was so angry at this point I said..."I don't need the sweet potatoes" and paid the bill. Now she sees...noodles...Kool Aid and humus she thinks I didn't pay because they were not advanced on the conveyer belt. I didn't realize at the time what all she took.... but i heard her mumble... I didn't pay for the humus. I showed her the receipt...."I paid for everything...so plz give me back the humus". She never once revealed she took other things too...as I checked the area to make sure I had all my items. Her parting verbal shot? "Nobody but me had a problem with that check out". I told her that was not true! I get back to where I'm staying (20 minute drive.) and I don't have the noodles or $4.00 worth of Kool Aid. The noodles was 1/2 of dinner. Now I can't make dinner. I did call and the manager, named Adam, who was very nice! Back to the store I drive (40 min round trip) ....Adam asked "Jonathan" to get me my things. Jonathan is also a nice guy. The older woman kinda forgot to tell anyone she took my stuff thinking I didn't pay. The evening ended with yet another meal out, as it was too late to cook, and the cost of extra gas to retrieve my items.Walmart is an extra 20 minutes away or Publix is just a couple of minutes further...that's where I will go because their self check outs work! This self check out at Kroger/Pigeon Forge...is a nightmare and I don't like to be treated like a thief! In truth I have been nearly thieved from by the store twice!

Kroger is a great store with the best fresh foods. The fruits and veggies are always fresh and tasty, and the meat is the best. Lots of different choices of products and great service.

Not as nice as a Publix. Friendly staff, organization is done well enough, and the store was clean.

Understaffed and the store hardly has anything after 2 pm. The stockers are nice and have been pretty helpful but the cashiers are rude and disrespectful.

Staff was friendly, the store was set up pretty well, everything seemed well organized, and the pricing was what you normally expect from Kroger. I expected a spike because it's a tourist area, but I guess not! This store met expectations. Didn't go above and beyond, but it didn't fall short. Pretty good experience here.

Full service grocery store has everything you may need. Their firewood bundles are a good deal at $5.19 each. Staff was friendly and helpful. They had plenty of self checkout terminals, but only one that had an actual cashier. During peak times, they should consider opening at least two registers.

I have been coming to this Kroger for the past 5 years, everytime I visit the Pigeon Forge area. Always seems to be clean and the staff is attentive. I have seen the staff making sure the produce is good at 8:00 pm on a Sunday night. Inventory/stock always seems good. This is my grocery store in the area.

Aggravating. They only had the self checkout open. I was tired and ready to go. We went and bought a bunch of food here in Pigeon Forge Tennessee and it was Rod Runs. So it was packed and we got a bunch of food to stock up the fridge at the cabin that we rented. I was just ready to go and the only isle they had open were self-checkout

People are so unfriendly. Asked for help finding something and he threw the box he was holding he was so mad that we asked for help ! The lady at the check out was throwing our groceries after she scanned them.

It’s nice to have a good quality grocery store while traveling. This Kroger did not raise prices just because it’s a tourist town. They have good quality produce, deli meat and cheese (Boar’s Head), and a butcher block. This is a larger store with lots of options.

This is my all time favorite Kroger to shop for my needs. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Since we live in a tourist area this store is busier than most Kroger’s are so if you are in a hurry you may be a little inconvenienced at the checkouts. Just be patient and remember somewhere you will be a tourist also taking advantage of someone else’s favorite store to shop.

We stopped by Sunday late afternoon at 5:45 for a few snacks. The whole place looked ransacked, almost like going out of business. No salads, no cooked foods, nothing left in the store. Lots of empty shelves. Massive lines , with people looking confused. Not enough cashiers. I asked an employee if store is closing early Sunday. He said no, they close at 2300. Store looked dirty and dingy. We placed back the few items we were trying to buy and we just left. My first time at a Kroger and probably my last.

As soon as we found the Walmart to be super packed, we found that Kroger’s parking lot was less busy. It was a good because the store was not busy and we were able to find everything that we needed. Coming from the Athens, GA area and to see Terrapin beer makes me happy. Great service and clean bathrooms.
