Had a mean old bald man tell my friend he wasn’t welcomed there and when I asked why he said “we don’t want drugs in our store”. This was disappointing to have to experience discrimination like this. Everyone who works there look like they’re drugs.

I have now had this store a year as the Store Manager and I want to invite everyone that has a negative review back in hope to change your mind and your review. I apologize for the experience but please consider stopping by for a better shopping experience!!!!!

This store has truly went down hill. They are either understaffed or the staff doesn’t care how they look or the store looks. Honestly I think it’s a combination of both. The store is always trashed. So trashed that you can tell it was from the days customers. Especially because going in right after they open it looks the same as if you go in durning the afternoon.The staff that is there always talks trash about each other or people that didn’t show up. They even talk to themselves loudly about the same things. They smoke in a lawn chair right outside the front door 🤦🏼‍♀️ with the ash tray stand next to the door. It is all around trashy.I only go here in a pinch and also hope it looks better each time. It doesn’t. It is progressively getting worse. Corporate should serious take a second to come into the store and see what has gone wrong there.

I live near this store and go alot. The store is normally a mess with things thrown all over the place. No organization. My last visit was Monday morning a little after 10am. The doors were locked. I saw someone quickly get out of my view. Very unprofessional. Zero customer service. I took a video showing the events. It is posted separately. Their is a dollar general across the street, go there do not waist your time with this family dollar location.

I have mostly good things to say about this store. I shop there all the time and usually get good, prompt service. When traffic is busy with the tourists, it is a convenient place for my wife and I to shop and we usually get quite a lot more than what we go there for. Most of the employees are kind and quickly answer any questions we have. We did, however, have a bad experience there today. We bought a set of curtains that we found was slightly too narrow when we got home. We decided to go back and exchange them for wider ones. When we got there, we were informed that they could not return nor exchange curtains once they were out of the packaging. I told the girl that that was a shame because they would lose a lot of business from us as we would not do business with them if they did not allow this. I mean, it was curtains and I had only purchased them a half hour earlier. She went and got her manager who looked miserably unhappy. She came out, flopped the curtains around for a bit, gave me a dirty look and told said that they would just have to damage them out, meaning to go ahead and allow the exchange. Though I was grateful for the allowance (which never should have been an issue to begin with) as I walked away to get the other curtains, I noticed her staring out the window angrily shaking her head. I certainly hope she does not treat her employees with as much disrespect as she showed us today.

Disregard hours posted!! I showed up after 8 AM and the doors were locked. I knocked on the door and a very rude lady said “we’re not open”. I asked when they would be open and she said “when I can”. I understand people are short staffed but she was very rude about it. They could have posted a note on the door they were closed.

Went to get a last minute item on 07-20-2022 for a repair on our RV and showed up 5 minutes before they closed. The lady grabbed the door and just said " we are closing" and shut door door rudely. Im really not aware of any place that closes at 5:55pm but she was rude and I would not recommend using this store

pulled into store parking lot girl was outside smoking. went in locked the doors and went away from front of store 3or 4 other cars pulled in could not get in store. This happened at 2:30 pm june30th.2022. This GIRL SHOULD BE FIREDVERY RUDE

Absolutely wonderful store, they were so on top of their game at this site. I received a valentine balloon today in honor of the day. That was so sweet. Never in my life had this done before. I was totally surprised. Just made my day ❤️

They had everything I needed and check out was fast, however both cashiers were talking on their cell phones. They never hung up when I came up to the register. They continued their conversations on the phone while they checked me out. It was just very rude and they did not seem to care.

Girls very nice .by opinion and mine alone you put to much on two people thats why I dont apply. Not only wait on people but stock things and most of the time the isles are full of boxes not all but some. The two girles in there today are new to me they know nothing of what im saying. I live close to the store so I see lots always stopping in. I love this store but if the ones on the register should stay there most of the time and floor people on the floor. You would keep your employees longer. Just my thoughts. Have a good day.

Only 1 star, cause they have stock in every isle you can't push buggy around without running into stuff its awful 🤬 Staff not friendly at all. Shopping experience SUCKED!!

Worst store I've ever had the pleasure of leaving. Also who closes CONSTANTLY for "stocking" at 1:00 in the afternoon on a Sunday in a tourist town. Very unprofessional of any business let alone a family dollar. The store is always in shambles, just look at the photos.

Very cluttered and unorganized prices are same as a Walmart in some cases iteams were higher price than Walmart for a lower quality. But did find a decent amount of arts and craft stuff for my 4yesr old daughter lots of glittery paints glues etc.

They've just remodeled this store. Excellent lay out, no clutter and a great selection of merchandise. Staff always helpful and friendly.
