I was in there a few days ago with my daughter we were on vacation .went in to buy a pre-paid visa..the girl at the register was having a hard time riringing it up ..she paged her manager several times he finally came ...then she was screaming profanity at him .and he returned with the same language..several children and other customers in there at the time..she finished my transaction and threw the card at me ...if her job is to hard on her possibly she needs to quit and her manager as well ...very uncomfortable situation

I’ve been here a few times. Getting in and out of the parking lot isn’t the easiest, but decent. Otherwise it’s a convenient location right on the Parkway.The selection inside is ok, a bit cluttered. They appear to be experiencing some shortages, typical of the times. Today is the first time I’ve ever heard the words, “sorry, we are out of water”. Plenty of sugary and carbonated drinks to choose from, just not for me.The staff was friendly, appeared hard-working. I appreciate all the efforts.

absolutely horrible store boxes all over the floor and for owner to have reviews like this 3 months ago. i said something to them today there were 3 employees just standing around you can barely get down the isles. every single person at this store should be fired. Manager included..we took pictures today for corporate. someones gonna seriously get hurt and fall in that store. rude cashier said they didnt have any help today. there was 3 people there doing nothing. FIRE everone of them.

Went to get a few items and when me and my bf got to the front of the line they apparently had some issues come up with both registers. Not a single employee acknowledged anyone in line to explain anything going on or offer any apologies. One cashier was more concerned about going to smoke a cigarette than the customers. We understand things can happen out of your control but the non-existent customer service was ridiculous.

Was in there store looked beyond horrible. Went to checkout and cashier was cleaning the bathroom. Had to wait for her to finish. A customer came in to use it and she refused them to use it. Then him n the cashier went back n forth fussing. Then she turned to use and told us other messed the toilets up the flusher, the toilet seat n put a bunch of toilet paper stopping it up. We didnt want to hear all that.

It’s fine, however a note to the male employee at the front of the store talking about setting nursing homes and everyone inside of them on fire after releasing poisonous gasses throughout the facility: that’s not something to be discussing at work, nonetheless in front of customers who are waiting in line because of your inability to run a register. Store was relatively well stocked and I did find what I need.

I’m sure it’s very busy all the time where it’s located and help is hard to find but it was out of stock not allot of selections, shelves where empty and place was a mess had to wait inline for a bit only 1 register to check out.

We stopped to grab some groceries on our way to our hotel. We couldn't get them because this store had decided to close early. There isn't any reason for an early closure. If you're within an hour of the posted closing time, don't bother because they've probably closed up shop.

This store needs an overhaul. Shelves not stocked, items in the floor. You would think in Pigeon Forge this would be an A+ store. Don't waste your time going here go to Publix or Food City. You may pay a little bit more. This was probably the worst Dollar General Stores we have ever been in

Good place to shop when walking. Staff is friendly and courteous. Store is clean and organized. I came here from Newport. DG stores in that area were messy and somewhat unorganized. Sometimes it was almost impossible to get down the aisles. Good job Pigeon Forge.

The bigger guy that runs the register is always very rude. If the ladies are there, they are always nice. I work across the road and alot of my customers complain about the same man. Now on the other hand, they do keep the store very neat and clean. I'll continue to go (just avoiding that guy)😅

Great customer service at this Dollar General. The man at the register offered to switch my room temperature Coca-Cola bottle for a refrigerated one and then open it with his bottle opener. Was definitely a polite and thoughtful gentleman. Would definitely come here again when I'm in town.

Brand new store, has been open less than a couple months. Been there a few different times. Everytime I've been there the card reader is down. Take cash or you'll have to find an ATM close by. Store is clean and well organized. Stock levels on health care items are insufficient. Staff is friendly, and still learning the store layout. Prices are great considering you are in a tourist town.

I forgot my tea jug at home. Who can't live without some sweet tea, but had to stop to get a pitcher. I was in and out! Seemed cleaned. Cashier was nice!

This store was newly remodeled just a couple years ago. Now it looks like a store from a 3rd world country. Nasty filthy floors, shelves not stocked,much empty shelf space. And didn't see anyone near the register when I left. I font blame the staff, as much as poor management. Just can't believe how fast it went downhill. Now I remember why I stopped going in there.

A very dirty little store with literally nothing on the shelves in the medicine isle. As far as the other isles go, you can find merchandise directly on the floor because for whatever reason, that’s where they keep it. Horribly low standards

Pleasantly surprised in this store in the fact that when a checkout line formed, they opened a second register. Although a bit crowded, as many General Dollar stores are, this one provided what I have come to expect and not be disappointed in... low prices and good merchandise.

The staff was friendly. They made sure I found what I needed. And that were very nice and helpful. The location was easy to find, we were from out of town, the store was clean and not cluttered, which I've seen at serve Dollar General Stores.

Dollar General has some great finds! It can get a little crowded when they're stocking the shelves though, sometimes feeling claustrophobic. But still, way better than having to deal with the crowds at the other "bog box stores!"

I come to pigeon forge weekly, and would see this store was always busy so I figured I would see what the buzz was! Went in, and OMG. It looked like a tornado hit it. Stuff just just every where. You couldn't even get down the isles to shop. The only thing I could think that was getting that much customers in there is it has to be the easiest place to shop lift, or they are selling drugs. Will not be back.

I've been to a lot of Dollar Generals in my lifetime this one was a lot different I went in the staff was very nice I was approached right away and upon purchasing the stuff that I wanted I was asked if I needed anything else they accommodated me answered me very well very nice people very clean store everything was put away organized just the way I would like to see a retail store great job

They do not enforce the mask law, most people inside including the employees were not wearing a mask or not wearing it properly. Shameful since many at risk people need to shop too and may not have a choice of places to go. Enforce the mask rules and protect your customers!

Very convenient store, always enjoyed it. Until tonight, i work with public and i understand The closing time we walked in 8 minutes till close. Just need to grab something for my daughter when the older man and woman both decided to snarky say that they closed in 3 minutes, i said Your sign says 10, they come back saying no we close at 9:55. Then they continued to talk about it. So we took our business elsewhere. At my job we are not aloud to kick people out, id never make someone so uncomfortable that they won’t even make a purchase. Like i said, i go there all the time it’s right next to my house but to be rushed when your sign states you close at 10 o’clock not 9:55.

My main issue is basically the app and couponers. Smh I'm just trying to get things for my family and every week anything on sale is completely out and I see it on Facebook marketplace instead! I'd almost prefer to do away with that and just do without coupons so we can all get what we need. Otherwise the store is clean and the employees are kind and quick. I would also like to see the app match up better with prices at the different stores. I've seen some items that would be free or under a dollar be higher priced during a coupon week or big deal because their registers can't do free apparently even with the coupon. Smh I don't understand that either. It would be nice if they only released items like that on different days at different times every week or something to keep people from being able to use multiple phone numbers and email addresses to set up accounts to use coupons to get all of a product that they resale keeping families from saving money buying their monthly or weekly staples for the household.

Close and convenient, and able to avoid ther parkway! Not everyone who works here is friendly, but that's alright. We're all entitled to have a rough day. Nice clean store!
