The cheese and sausage plate was a lot smaller and only had like 3 or 4 cheese pieces had lots of cut cup pickles and maybe 8 small sliced sausage. I understand prices have got up on everything ,but this is not worth the price. The pork loin sandwich has gotten very small for the price also . The service was very poor never was ask if we wanted a refill on drinks or anything and we were the only ones in there at that time ! The key lime pie was so tart you could hardly eat very sour ! The tip is added to you ticket instead of you giving one . I believe in tipping since I've worked in restaurants to,but if your not asked if you need anything I don't think they should add it to your ticket at the end either. The baked beans tasted kinda burnt like they had to much seasoning! The food was just not as good as I remember it being.

Ordered food tonight from here, sandwiches was very dry was only offered toast and not a bun. It’s ridiculous that a garden salad is 6.99 and you have to be charged another 75 cents just to get cheese which wasn’t offered in the first place. I don’t appreciate the rude lady that answered the phone. When you order, it should be explained a little better. We will definitely drive to iuka or Corinth from now on.

Cannot agree with those who give The Rib Cage superlative reviews. We visited tonight really wanting to like it. Ribs were dry. The BBQ sandwich was not on a fresh bun - toasting it a bit might have improved it. The meat was ok, but again, a bit dry.REVISION. Moved it to 3 stars. Ribs still are dryish.

Counce,TN is a small town with not many options. We were super excited when we saw the Rib Cage was open until 8pm. As it was still only 6:45pm I hopped in the truck and drove over. Parking lot had 4-5 vehicles and OPEN light was still on. Counter was full of to go orders. Gentleman asked what the name on my order was and I replied I haven’t ordered yet. Also, that I would like to. He said well we’re closed. Funny that the closed sign was turned off as I exited. Won’t go back! Their hours need to be verified and adjusted online!

Been here a few times. Every time has been great service whether I am eating in or taking out. One thing I really appreciate is the pound of BBQ is a full pound and not dripping with grease. For the Pickwick and Counce TN area, these guys would be my personal choice for real BBQ. I love the mountain-style setting of outdoor dining. It is set on a raised deck like patio with a view of the trees in the hollow. And with a gentle breeze, it smells and feels like you are on a boat dock getting ready to set sail. It is actually relaxing to eat at the Rib Cage for me.

#1...They fixed my BBQ sandwiches the way I asked.#2...Great friendly staff with respect for service dogs.#3...It was real pulled BBQ. Thank you for not putting a huge slop of fat in the middle.#4...Very calm atmosphere. Great for family and friends after a long day on the river.#5...And reasonable pricing for the entire menu.So, yes, I give the Rib Cage a full 5 stars.

Few things on this planet are as good as the cheese plate at the rib cage(s) of Mississippi. 100% must go if you pass one. There are a few in MS but this one is my personal favorite. Right off of Pickwick you’re there. Cheese plate. Just get the cheese plate get a few of them.

This was the first time I have ever even seen this place and I will def be back. Staff was great, we didn't ever need it want a thing, and it did not take long at all to get our food. Between the big potatoes, ribs, and BBQ sandwich we covered the menu of different items and they were all great. The best was moist and def worth going back for sure.

Customer service was great. We ordered take out from here and the 15 minutes they told us was right on the dot. Food was pretty good! We had the jumbo bbq sandwich and rib plate. The sides here are extremely good.

We enjoyed ribs, smoked chicken, and turkey for dinner! Everything was tasty and their special bbq sauce is amazing! We liked it so much that we’re coming back tomorrow night for dinner! If you’re heading to Pickwick dam, be sure to eat here!

The rib rub consists of paprika, chili powder, cayenne and sesame seeds.. No sugar and salt.. Bland and dry..Much like the ribs. Got the 1/2 rack and they were very dry, no flavor, and no smokiness. Beans were good. Everything else was meh. Service was good, however and the restaurant clean.

This is the best BBQ on Pickwick Lake! I like to call ahead from the boat, run up the hill, grab my food and then eat it while anchored in a nearby cove. Everything is great! Definitely get the cheese plate with kielbasa, pickles, cheese and pepperocinis. Also get the ribs, pulled pork and wings! It's all delicious and the service, whether to-go or dining in, is always exceptional!

My wife and I ordered the 1/2 bbq chicken but was told that they had run out that selection so we settled for the bbq chicken breast plates. This was absolutely the worst bbq that we both have ever tried to eat. It had absolutely no taste, was very tuff, and no flavor. I actually spit two different bits out on my plate because I just couldn't chew it enough to swallow. I will never eat here again. The cost of this super bad meal was above $30.
