Like most people, when you lose your Loving spouse you have nothing but confusion. I found Cremation and Funeral Services of Tn. on line. Luckily for me I was in contact with a wonderful lady named Miriam. She walked me through the process, with a number of mistakes, on my part, with compassion and patience. Miriam was wonderful to work with! She helped me thru the process and explained everything that was to be done (i have never gone thru these proceedings) . I was confident that Miriam had the expertise to guide me through process. I am a third party in this process (I paid for your services) Miriam was a go between myself (me being located in Georgia) and my niece, she tried to keep us both informed. I don't think my niece understood the amout of time the process would take. I found it difficult to get in touch with my niece, to verify that in fact things were accomplished as they came about. Again, Miriam was so great to work with, she is professional and precise. I would highly recommend Miriam to anyone that needed your services.

Earlier this year I lost my husband of 25 years. From my very first phone call I was treated with compassion and respect. Mariam made me feel like I was her only client. She went above and beyond to get everything done for me. I had several issues that came up outside of her control and she got all of them resolved for me. I'm sure had it been anyone else they wouldn't have gone that extra mile.I honestly don't think I would have made it through all of this without her. She genuinely cares for the families she assists in their time of need. She truly is very kind hearted person and knows her job very well. The contract person was great she was nice and helpful. We asked for some of my father's hair we paid 25.00 extra and they gave me about baby size loc. I feel like they could of shaved a patch of hair so I could share with my other siblings.

Despite confusion at the hospital over which doctor was responsible for the certification, C&FS managed to complete the service in a timely manner. There were several errors in the process, including the fact that the hospital called the wrong service, although I gave them the correct number, making the whole process confusing.Ms. Gagne and the agent from the originally contracted service worked it all out, making a bad situation a little more bearable.I would and have recommend them to anyone seeking such a service

The people that work here are so nice, helpful and very understanding. They took care of my mother-in-law and they even dropped her off at the house instead of us picking her ashes up at a funeral home. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs this kind of service. Cremation and Funeral Services of Tennessee was simply a pleasure to deal with. From every aspect of the transaction it was a pleasure to work with Miriam. Miriam genuinely cared about the situation in hand, explained in articulated everything perfectly, everything was done online, paperwork wise, filling out and approving the death certificate, contract paperwork and payment. You can even have the remains in the event of a cremation and the death certificates delivered to your home without even having to leave your home about the matter. Again it was a pleasure to deal with Miriam and if I ever need a service like that again I will surely give them a call anytime. I hope they're in business when my day is done.

I have worked with the company twice on separate deaths of loved ones. I have found them to be of the utmost trustworthy company. I worked with Jason and Miriam. The hours they both spent going over the process, details, and planning. They weren’t just paper-pushers. They cared about me and my family and the bereavement process. It takes a very gifted person to work in their positions. I couldn’t have made it through my brother’s death without Miriam’s help. She definitely earns her jewels in her crown she will receive one day. My family and I were very blessed to have her on earth. It is true that the company is an online service and actually cuts the cost when the price for funerals are more than some can bare. I’m very thankful that they help cut out all the profiteering from the loss of our dear loved ones. They don’t pick your pockets for exuberant expenses as some funeral homes in towns where one may feel they have no other choice. That doesn’t mean their customer service is lacking, far from it. I received immediate responses and exceptional care, consideration, support and understanding services in our families time of need. I would recommend this company to everyone!

When my father-in-law passed away I found this place on google after we had a funeral home do us dirty. Miriam was so amazing, she went above and beyond her job. Her job doesn't consist of making a sideshow of pictures and videos of our loved one, but she is doing it out of the kindness of her heart because of everything we have been through between the funeral home and crematory doing us wrong and Medical personnel putting wrong dates on the permits to cremate him but Miriam made sure to stay on them until they fixed the date ! Miriam over came every obstacle that was thrown at us and made sure she found a solution no matter what time, day or night! She is such an amazing soul and brought so much light and peace during this horrific dark time in our lives. I will forever be grateful for Miriam and all of her dedication to make sure my father-in-law was taken care of! She definitely cares more about the people instead of all of it being about money! Will definitely not use anywhere else besides here if any other loved ones pass away! We love you Miriam, your so amazing and an angel for sure!

I became involved in the death of a young man in Dyersburg. He took his own life at 29. His mother was being taken advantage of by other companies in the area with grossly inflated costs for a simple cremation. I reached out to this company after finding them online. I spoke with Miriam. I cannot speak enough about the level of professionalism, courtesy, respect and decency that Miriam gave to me and the young man's mother. There were some difficulties to overcome, as the young man had been living a somewhat transient lifestyle. This made tracking information difficult. They made a difficult process as easy as it can be. I was not really able to process things as easy as I thought I was and they (Jenny) was extremely patient and responsive. There were moments when just waiting on someone to answer after a few rings was too much for me to handle and I never had to do that at all with them. I know that some people are weary of using internet based services, but I had no problem and no issues. I never met or saw Jenny in person and never felt neglected.

Highly recommended. So many funeral homes try to impose on families when they are at a vulnerable moment in their lives by ripping them off for 10 to $20,000 to bury their loved ones. My husband and I both have opted for cremation years ago. He passed Oct 2021. I called Tennessee Funeral and Cremation services. They immediately sent me the paperwork, I chose my plan and they took care of everything else. Very kind and caring people. Highly recommended

We dealt with Jenny Shelton and couldn’t possibly be more pleased. We had first reached out to a different crematorium whose price quote nearly doubled their advertised price. After verbally accepting this other places quote we waited and waited for the promised e-mail/paperwork to arrive. To this day, it still hasn’t. Our experience with Jenny and her colleagues was completely different. They honor their advertised price and never once tried to up-sell us or price shame us. Each time I reached out with questions or concerns my phone calls and texts were responded to IMMEDIATELY! Even after hours and on the weekends. Many people can talk the talk. These guys actually walk the walk, and they do so with empathy, compassion, and grace.I cannot deny that I entered this endeavor with skepticism and trepidation. Friends and relatives come out of the woodwork to tell you their horror stories. The are literally gagging on the words “I told you so!”.....so anxious to point out your gullibility and mis-chosen trust. Without exception and in every single instance Jenny gave me this ammunition to turn to them and just flip them the middle finger.Anyone who is reading this is probably dealing with anguish and loss. No one comes to this company to window shop. My heart goes out to you. You have a tough road ahead of you. Jenny will help. It’s just who she is. You can trust her. On that you have my word.

Not knowing anything about the process because we were used to traditional burials, we would have been so lost without him and his staff. Knowing this was a no frills option, I didn't expect their office to screw up the death certificate when all my information was correct. TN provides 3 free death certificates and I paid for 3 more ($30.00) out of pocket. After submitting the correct information, they only sent me 3 revised certificates and didn't refund my out-of-pocket $30.00. This company is there to take your money but has poor customer service. I have been contacting Jason for over 2 months to get the $30 refunded to me to no avail. I would not recommend them. Feel like I have to pay for their mistake. They should have done the right thing and sent me back the $30.00 when they didn't send me back 6 certificates.

I live in South Carolina, my brother lived in Tennessee. Mike passed after a long downhill slide, I was with him, the only relative he had. I was lost. I was very hestitant to use the service, because we were connected to this company through a third party site. We didn't know anyone in Nashville who could give a recommendation; however, I called someone local in Mississippi who got referrals both from the Mortuary school in Nashville as well as a friend at another local funeral home. This Crematorium went out of there way to take the best care of my son. Even during the pandemic they moved mountains to get him to me in another state so we could have his memorial service with our friends and family.
