This store is a lifesaver for when you don’t want to go to giant stores and you want amazing service. Very seldom do they not have what I’m looking for and the staff are always amazingly helpful and friendly.We need more businesses that are ran like the Elders Ace stores!

While searching online for a Cordless Rechargeable Fan by DeWALT. I just so happen to look into the Elder's Ace Hardware in Ooltewah, TN. So, I called the store and a Customer Friendly voice answered the Phone in a manner worthy of this review for going over and beyond for Customer retention at the Lee Highway location. Laura took the time and went onto the merchandising floor and retrieved just what I was looking for in the DeWALT brand along with battery/charger pack. Laura also showed me GREAT $$$ saving for the cost of the purchase by me being a Elder's Ace Hardware Rewards member. "KUDOS" to the Excellent Customer Service provided, as wells as, Management Team for the training provided to the Team members at Elder's Ace Hardware ...... particularly Laura.Thanks

Employees went out of their way to be helpful. everybody was pleasant and kind. Best of all everybody was knowledgeable of the products. I told them I was brand new to gardening and wanted to do some container flowers but didn't have a big budget. They didn't try to get me to buy more than I needed. I walked out feeling very qualified to go home and plant my new plants in my window box on my front porch🌺🦋

Great hardware store. Good staff who are helpful. Not the largest store, so they may not have exactly what you need depending on your project. However, I enjoyed coming here to shopping at large chain stores.

Max is the best. I have come into your store several times needing help for specialty items and Max has always gone above and beyond in helping me solve my problems.The difference between LARGE hardware stores and you guys is service and convenience. Price is usually slightly more but good service is worth it. And I get good service from your team.

A great place for all hardware and lawn care needs. Some prices are higher than the big-box stores but it's all about convenience and helpful employees. Their rewards program is an added bonus.

Had an exceptional interaction with Ixmani at the Ooltewah Ace Hardware. Imani volunteered to help me find some unusual parts that I needed and he readily found them saving me a lot of time. Highly recommend Ace Hardware over the big box store competition.

As a person with a horrible back I gave this store 3 chances, and your store failed 3 times! Was told someone would come out and load my bagged products. Three times no one every showed up. This last time two employees looked my way, but turned back around and went back in. Great customer service 👏! Will drive 20 miles if need be before I every spend my hard earned money there again. Been a steady customer for over 6 years.

Well-stocked, well-lit, plenty of employees to help. All Elder's Ace Hardware stores are good but some really excell in friendliness. I'd rate this one in the medium range, but very acceptable. In a hardware store, I tend to ask for assistance to find the many oddball items a place like this can sell. So finding an employee that is easily approachable (friendly) is as important as their knowledge to me. As a side note, I love shopping their plant and lawn & Garden departments.Great seasonal selection. We are lucky to have this group of Ace stores in our area.

To the owner- try putting in for a pick up order and see what happens guarantee you will have to get out your car only to find out they weren't even filling your order and forgot about you, go ahead put in a order and start the clock.

Rude!!!First I walk in needing help but everyone asked the man behind me if they could assist him. Not one person asked me. They walked off from him even though I’m looking at the employees waiting my turn. Finally ask can you help me??? Please?I told the guy I wanted to find the weed eaters . He told me we’re they were. Guess what? They are locked up? Of course no one tries to assist me so I gave up.I did find a birthday card for my grandfather… so I went to the checkout. the cashier was so rude. Ignored what I was saying completely and basically rushed me out. I don’t even know if she even attempted to listen to me. I was talking to her and she very rudely interrupted me, ordered me to remove my card, and interrupted again to say her line she has to say to all customers and then turned away from me. Wasn’t busy. No one was behind me. Just very rude.I needed to buy something expensive and no one could bother to help me so I guess I’ll go to Lowe’s or home depot.This place use to be pretty good with customer service. Lost my business for sure. 😡

The Elder’s Ace Hardware in Ooltewah is a great local hardware store. It is well-staffed and I always have multiple people ask if they can help me when I shop there. They have an above-average selection and it is conveniently located. I like to shop here when I need a couple of items quickly or if I’m not in the mood to undergo the hassle of shopping at a big box store like Lowe’s or Home Depot. Elder’s provides a convenient, friendly experience for shoppers

I came in looking for a product to remove mildew from a bathroom ceiling. I needed something that wouldn't trigger my asthma. (no bleach)The store was extremely busy. The associate who helped me took the initiative to look up the products online to find the best fit instead of selling a random product and moving on to the next customer.Not only did it work fabulously, but it didn't trigger my asthma at all.EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Very clean, well stocked shelves, no floor clutter.Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. I really like the headsets that the staff uses to communicate with each other...Great Idea! It sure beats non-stop talking over a loud speaker. Very pleasant experience...I was able to get what I needed quickly and at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Elder's Ace Hardware in Ooltewah, TN.

Outstanding customer service! I wasted time at Lowe's and Home Depot trying to get some glass cut. No dice! I went to Ace and it was taken care of quickly, and at a fair price. I like going somewhere where the employees feel vested in taking care of my needs, and they didn't disappoint. Kudos!

Friendly people. Most of the employees know their stuff and have good ideas and tips. Usually a little crowded and busy but I've never had to wait in a long line. Service with a smile and we all need a little more of that in our day to day. They offer the standard hardware services like cutting glass or making keys.

Pulled in randomly to grab a hard hat as I had forgot mine and as I walked into the store I was immediately greeted and ask if I need assistance. The first employee told me exactly where the hard hats were at the other end of the building and before I could get there 3 other employees asked if I needed help. They were all very nice and knowledgeable and this is the kind of service you don’t get at the big box stores.
