My girlfriend & I went to Windrock Snack Shack in Oliver Springs, TN, this evening. I had never been there before but I was pleasantly surprised. We got 2 of the Wednesday specials, which is BBQ Ribs with mashed potatoes and corn with a roll. I greatly enjoyed the meal. We got it as Takeout. My girlfriend captured the included pictures in this post. I was not able to go inside this time, but they are handicap accessible. I was excited to try this place however I left disappointed. Between my party we ordered fried green tomatoes, fried mushrooms, onion rings, chili fries, 2 hash brown scrambler bowls, and the mudslide burger. The fried green tomatoes were very good! However that is about the only thing I can recommend. The crinkle fries were not done. The chili was ok. The fried mushrooms and onion rings although very crispy didn’t have any flavor. Ordered a hash brown scrambler bowl (which came on a plate 🤣) added gravy. I love some gravy but there was WAY too much on it. The hash browns were not crispy at all. The toast was toasted long enough for the slightest tan and was still soft. No butter was put on top. There was chili on the floor and it looked like it had been there for a couple of days. The cups had a sticky film on them as did the ketchup bottle and hot sauce bottle. The grease smelled like it needed to be cleaned/ swapped out and that smell cling to my clothes for long after we left.

Ordered steak and gravy with mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans with an extra roll.That's how the meal is supposed to come. I got fried steak and mashed potatoes, both dry, no gravy and okra. No extra roll 😂. This is not the first time I haven't gotten either good food or they didn't have what I ordered. It was only 4:30 so not late. This IS the first time I ordered and got home with it this messed up. I and my family have always enjoyed the food, but I guess this will be the last time.
