If i could give 0 stars thats probably be best. One employee to another I hate to do this but, while on vacation I came into this store. It was complete trashed things all over the place, as well as carts and totes that shouldn't be in places, everyone was rude. Lady at the register especially. Only one cashier working, we were halfway down the iale just waiting in line to check out. I stood there waiting for a good 20 minutes. Probably longer than it took me to come in for batteries & tissues! I'm 4th in line to be checked out and this girl walks up and decides she doesnt want to wait. Cuts around all of us for a "self checkout" which there wasn't one. After realizing that she just stands right there infornt of the line. After the lady at the check out walks away, she walks right up to the register and the lady checked her out. She was 6-7th in line and just walks up and get infront of everyone and the lady at the Register watched it and just let her. Not that I'm here that long but I will definitely be going to another Dollar General any time I need something.

The store is never stocked! All the cashiers but 1 seem to be miserable & lazy! Only reason for 3 stars is, clean store, convenient for the most part & I don't know her name but the part time, night time cashier is great!

Very clean and stocked store. Cashier is quick to get the customers rang up and out the door. Cashier is a charm. Really enjoy all the employees that are at this location as of right now. Good Job!

People giving high ratings to this store are not being honest. It.is.dirty. This location is out of something you need, or what you need is sitting in one of many unstocked crates which are blocking the aisles. I think they don't stock everything timely hoping you'll help them get rid of other products they can't sell. I'm through getting part of what I need. Bye.

Yall need some security in this place!! I was paying for my stuff and some people just walked out with a trashcan full of stuff and the lady behind the desk just let them go cause she got mased the last time she tried to stop someone.

The store was so busy tonight! The two women working were super friendly and worked very quickly to move the long line of people through. I was impressed with how quickly I got out of there!

So we all know there are dollar stores around every corner basically, some bad some good. I like this one because I have found product that I didn't see at any other DG. Overall it is a clean and organized store, however it could be in a better location.

They don't restock at all, the freezer stays 3/4 empty. The night shift (closer) is there just for pay check. Night crew has No Personality at all. Clearly can see does not care. Some products haven't been restocked in 3 months, but the other stores restock same products weekly, so not discontinued.

Only found 1 nice person here! 3 of the front counter cashier's have treated me like garbage and the man of the 3 didn't give me the right change back and lied about what I gave him when confronted. I purposely drive further away to other dollar general to get my stuff now!

Fast service but that store is so small and now with it having a market inside, a lot more people are there shopping and that being said, there is wayyy too much stuff in the isles and in front of the isles that need to be stocked and put away. There is barely room for the buggie. Im only saying this because I honestly believe that that particular store is too small to be a dollar market.P.s. I found beef hotdogs with October 30th dates and this is the middle of November and there is 3 really nasty wet shelves where the gallon milks are from some of the milks either leaking or busted.

They may have had fresh veggies an fruit. But when you sell bananas 3 for a 1.00 it is not worth it. More expensive than supermarket. I do not go ther often now I won't go at all.

Favorite store location. Recently remodeled, more up to date and stay stocked up better. Easy to find specials and product. Always friendly. Good prices.

Since the remodeling its very hard to navigate through the store. Things are strowed every where. Can't walk down a lot of the isles because of stock sitting in floor. It just looks so messy. Ive been shopping here for as long as its been open.

In the Summer I gave a Bad review on the Dollar Store in Old Hickory well the Employee that i had trouble when It visited last has got better, she bagged my groceries n she seemed to try to be FRIENDLY she still needs work on her talking skills but she was efficient, fast correct Thank you Dollar GENERAL much better

Your sign says you must wear a mask to come inside. However just a few were wearing them. This makes me very uncomfortable as I am tested every 7 days to be able to work. You have to stand in line for awhile and of course the people without a mask don't want to stand 6ft grom you either.

Went to the location at 311 Martingale Dr. (Old Hickory TN) yesterday afternoon and was very disappointed in the customer service.The Dollar General by me (Blackwood Dr. Nashville) is great and always so friendly. But was near Old Hickory today, so had to stop by this one.When I walked in, there was a couple there. And heard the lady tell her husband, 'Don't even bother asking about it, you will get no help." Found that weird, but went on about my shopping.Then when I checked out, I had a sales item and mentioned that it was on sale. This seemed to frustrate her. I mentioned the sign said it was on sale.She then asked what sign said. I told her the price listed and she asked if it was this brand? I assumed so, since sign was right on that shelf, but didn't really pay that much attention. She thought that was ridiculous and made it known.So she stepped away from register to go check and I was right. It was just bizarre. Why would I lie to save a few dollars? And the register usually just automatically rings up sales price.Then stopped at Dollar Tree after. And lady, who was behind me at Dollar General, was there too. And she mentioned how rude that cashier always is and how she seemed determined to prove me wrong.It was just a very off putting experience. I will stick to my usual Dollar General, who treat customes well.

I've never seen an employee more thn 1 time. They are either quiting or getting fired. Plus u ALWAYS have to ring the bell n wait 3-5 min. B4 they come to register

Every asile is blocked with carts full of merchandise. You can't find anything there's no prices on the shelf it's a disaster. I will be shopping elsewhere from now on.

Long line for check out only to find out second checker in the rest room. Told by other customers this is a common occurrence.
