This is one of the nicer Ace Hardware I've ever visited. The selection of outdoor grilling and seasoning is very nice. Great place to fancy up the padio as well, and the staff are really nice and very helpful.

Excellent selection and the customer service is out of this world. Every single employee I saw spoke to both my son and I, asked if we needed help finding anything and seemed just overall genuinely happy to be there and assist. Best hardware store in the area.

Okay, so this place may not have the variety of products that a Lowe's or a Home Depot would have so that can be hard if you need something really specific. BUT, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful! I know they watched me go up and down a few aisles knowing and realized I didn't know where I was going. Not only did they offer help, they literally walked my right to where it was and helped me pick our specifically what I needed. Then I was confident I knew what else I was getting (I didn't) they happily helped me yet again! The store is clean, organized, and well-stocked for it's size. If this place was closer to my home, I'd frequent it more often. Ace really is the place with the helpful hardware folks!

Finest hardware store that I have ever been in. The owner Ralph is a prince of a Fellow. Staff is always Friendly. You get greeted right at the door with professional help. We are so lucky to have them here in our little town of Oakland.

I love this Ace Hardware and it's mostly about the people working there. They are extremely friendly and ready to help if you need advice or to find something. Decent selection for a small hardware store. It being a smaller hardware store and the only one in Oakland, the prices are pretty high compared to Home Depot or Lowes. That would mean driving an extra 20 minutes each way though so convenience often wins out for me.

I basically go there every day I do heating and air conditioning for a living they always have the missalanious items I need saving me a trip to Memphis and they have anything for home maintenance or any projects you need taken care of the employee's are helpful and know there stock and will order anything if they don't have it in the store and can usually get it the same week. I think the the best. The manager and his people are awesome.

Went in to the store, no complaints about the customer service. Here is what I have an issue with, we asked if there is a Veterans discount, at which we were informed that the discount is for Active Duty members only. Very disappointed.

They have a little of some things for everyday repairs but they have closer to banker hours than hours that are convenient for most people who have 9 to 5 jobs. Customer service is great when you do manage to get in there before they close. They are courteous and can help to see if they have what you might need.

It's a good store. Been in about 6 yrs ago now.. lol. This stalky Google map thing I don't like. We only drove past ace in Oakland from my docs to pharmacy.. so it picks up even places you've driven past where ur wifi picks up theirs or they pick up yours while driving I guess and it assumes you went there because you drive past on hwy 64 in Oakland and the wifi picked your cells wifi up.. but I have not been there or in store in over 6 yrs. Yrs ago.. they were great. Nowadays im guessing about the same. But I don't know . Haven't been their. Google maps stalks you. And picks up places you actually have not been too

Great as long as you don't have kids. If employees don't like my toddlers, they should talk to me about it not scold my children. THAT is MY job. They should be a little more concerned about theirs and providing excellent service so you feel comfortable enough to return. I don't come in to have an older man hover over me after he scolds MY 1 and 3 yr old so we couldn't finish our shopping.

Great people , always so eager to help . Prices are usually a little higher than Walmart or Lowe's but realistically I'd spend a little more to experience great customer service. In the world today customer service is something that many companies forget about. Thanks guys for not calling victim to the norm.

Asked to have key made and it was going to be $79.00.Told young girl never mind then another young girl made a smart remark about good luck at the dealership.Not sure why she was rude but I didn't need a second key that bad.

Everyone was Nice...The young fellow that helped load my SUV with a 3”Dia.x 10’pvc pipe went Over & Beyond what he needed to do to help me!I know he probably thought - “Why did this woman come in suv to get 10 foot pipe?”(🤷🏻‍♀️I was hoping they would cut into 3 pieces)We tried several ways but finally got it in...Thanks so much for your help finding what I wanted & your Patience with me! (wished I gotten his name) He’s a great employee & I’m getting his name next time I go again... 😃He deserves the 🏆Recognition!!!
