I took my friend's dog in for a bath and brush. He had a lot of mats. I brought him in for his appointment and they did not have the right staff available to take care of his mats so they rescheduled me a few days out. On my second appointment the tech said she could cut the mats but did not have staff available to groom him. I would have to schedule a third visit to PetSmart for the following week. I'm not sure why PetSmart gave me two appointments when they didn't have staff available who could take care of a dog with mats. When I told the tech I could not schedule for a third visit hoping they'd have the staff on hand, she agreed to proceed with the bath. When I picked him up he was a mess! They clipped three of his four feet and left the fourth one shaggy! His face hair was cut to so many different lengths it looked like they trimmed it with their teeth. Butt was shaved to look like a baboon with a hard line to the surrounding full length hair. In short, he was a mess! The tech told me afterwards that she was not even authorized to take care of my dog due to his size and I was lucky she went ahead and did it. I don't feel lucky. $80 later...at least he's clean and it will grow back.
