The teams that works here are absolutely the nicest individuals I’ve seen at any goodwill but the management and corporate side of this building is in absolute shambles. Goodwill treats employees as machines. HR tells employees to only read certain pages of the handbook then yell and punish them for not reading, including there forced to clock-out just to read it. I love the people there but there management needs to understand how to treat there employees. You wouldn’t go through as many people if you only had human decency. I hope the top of the chain of goodwill see how there employees are treated.

Kinda hit or miss on if you’ll find anything, but I still enjoy shopping here. Always clean and the gentleman who typically works checkout is always friendly and a big cut up.

The selection is fair, could use better organization. I noticed the sizes are all mixed up. Product quality is not too bad, . everything is clean and in good repair. Monday is senior citizen day, otherwise normal color percentage of discount. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

You should stop by and check it out! Really great thrift store to find treasures. Every section was fully stocked with items. The employees were quick to help with any questions. Fun place!

I have been thrifting for years. Our local Goodwill stores are so filthy that I stopped shopping in them and started shopping at Karm. I truly hating paying more money for merchandise, but I didn't leave their stores feeling like I needed to shower. The Goodwill in Lenoir City, Clinton, Farragut, Bearden, and West Hills are unorganized, smell horrible, are dusty, and they look like they have never been cleaned. They are a cluttered and disorganized mess. I was in Oak Ridge today and decided to give them a try. The Oak Ridge location deserves Kudos. That store is by far the cleanest Goodwill in my area. The staff were super friendly and the store is set up great!! I will go back!!! All of the merchandise for this company is donated. There is no reason why you shouldn't have more pride to ensure both thrifters and those in need have a clean and organized place to shop. I follow several thrifters from up North who film in your stores and it's obvious they take pride at their locations. I suggest you hire managers with that same vision here. Although Karm does many wonderful things for our community, you are losing money when you don't have to.

I become more and more disappointed every time I walk into the Oak Ridge Goodwill. The store looks dirty and the items they display are junk. I picked up two items that the original price was still on them. The Goodwill price was more expensive. I took the item to the checkout desk asked the lady if she was the manager. The lady very rudely said she was not. That the manager was in the back and she stated that she was unable to change the price as the sign stated on the front of the desk. She did not offer to call to the back on the phone to get the manager, walk to the back to get the manager. She did NOTHING other than be very rude!!! This was 10/11/21

Walked in the door and they said yellow barbs half off. Heard one employee tell another to take all the yellow barbs off the racks so i watched and sure enough he started pulling them off the racks, thats pretty sorry when the stuff is donated to them to begin with, will not shop at Oakridge location again

First and foremost, the store manager Tyresa is one of the best mngrs ever! An employee was bragging to a customer how she finds donations that are worth money and sells them on eBay. That is unfair to the person Who donates and thinks it goes to help others not help an employee to line their pockets. The employee pays $1 and sells on eBay for $10, (example). Goodwill should be the benefactor. Two employees there need to learn about customer service. Tiffany the eBay bandit and Holly was just rude for no reason. I have worked fast food and retail- and if a customer wants to complain we listened because it's our job to give customer service.The Manger was very interested in keeping the composer of her employees who were bent on escalating a question I had, I just wanted the eBay bandits name. Holly wasn't even part of the equation but had talent in ghetto rudeness. I want to thank the stores Manger! I hope she gets compensation for carrying rude employees. The main complaints on here seem to be prices going up, if Goodwill were to directly profit from the donations maybe the prices would reflect the FACT that all donations are free to them. Generic reply will inserted- every review has one of two Generic reactions. Goodwill please get connected to the idea of thrift store cost and employee theft.

I’ve always loved oak ridge goodwill. My last few visits I’ve hit the jackpot! They have totally improved since the last time I’ve been and I’m totally impressed! My only complaint is I miss the music playing on the radio and I wish fitting rooms would open back up pleasee but besides that I love this store.

I am so very disappointed with this store. I understand price changes but the last 2 times I have been in I have left irritated. Example is books are now a certain price unless marked. Because 1 book was marked $3.99 she charged me that for the next book which was unmarked (She's also did this on picture frames) Manager of this store needs to keep this person in the back, it's better on her back. I have donated alot in the last 2 months & spent alot of money. I won't donate here anymore. Maybe management needs to pay more attention.

This is a great Goodwill and I’m thrilled to have it in my hometown. Desmond and Travis are always so friendly and helpful-they make donating a pleasure. I can’t say enough good things about the positive happy experiences I have had when both donating and shopping here. Plus it is great to know that my used items will have a new life and not end up in the landfill. Highly recommend!

Found a couple treasures. Staff was very nice. Explained senior discounts. Also explained 10% off discount if you bring in 20 or more plastic bags. Did not know that one existed.

It wasn't the best and it wasn't the worst. the employee was super super nice. The store was kinda small and didn't really have much of what I needed. the other people in the store was ruining the vibe. only people wearing their masks was the employee, my husband, and I.

Multiple times I have visited this store. They appeared to be higher than other stores, but I still look. I have purchased multiple plate sets that have been taped together and when I opened them at home, plate in the center is cracked or another pattern. Remember, no returns. Even asked cashier, who asked assistant manager who had to ask manager. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Know what you have before you leave the store. I agree with another customer review, remember these items are free to you. I’ll also stop rounding up for training.

It was very easy to look through and maneuver the product. As usual product plentiful but not so easy to get to it. The stock employee was very good at merchandising. The store w as also clean. Product priced clean. Customers areas the past was not accessible now places to sit down comfortably.

Big on good wills but recently this particular location has been price gouging their donations they get for free. Not sure what changed. Hopefully it’ll start going back to similar prices of other thrift stores and good wills in the area.

My daughter and her friends went here and an employee was staring them down the entire time they were shopping and harassing them for no reason and even confronted them and accused my daughter of shoplifting. These girls are all minors and this employee made them feel extremely uncomfortable.

Will not be back too this location and will not support any longer spent a good amount today first time shopping at this one although I've donated here before prices on things some were more than new and cashier middle aged man was extremely rude about dvds saying wasn't their price tags even though there was alot with those tags I said well I'd take them down he kept saying not our tags cooperate has heard of this and he looked intoxicated these places go by our money and donations so treating customers like this will only cause these places too close went in happy left upset

Disappointed at the Oak Ridge store. Had a pair of boots clearly mark $4.99 clerk left and came back with a $14.99 sticker on it. Needless to say i did not purchase them. I shop this store frequently and prices have steadily gone up. Remember this stuff was given to you for free. Just because it might be a name brand it's not worth the money if it has rips, holes and stains. Again disappointed.

Selection is sketchy at best. Nothing has been cleaned or tested, just put on shelves. The store is difficult to maneuver through. Clothes are inexpensive and the overwhelming bulk of the store. They have a handful of odds and ends but mostly clothes.

Arrived late on a work day to make a donation. Parked neat the entrance and walked to front desk area and no one was there. Then, the Employee immediatelt stopped her work activity and helped. She politely gave me clear driving directions to the drop-off location at back of building.Arrived at back of building. Employee met me at drop-off location. She was very pleasant and very helpful. I placed handful loads on the floor or handed them to her.Each time asked, "Does GOODWILL take this?", she clearly knew. Also she provided a cart help me refuce short walk to SUV. A pleasant kind person was needed yesterday. Thank you GOODWILL.

Alot of items packed into a small space. Employees were friendly. There was a musty odor throughout the store that aggravated my allergies, so unfortunately I was unable to shop.

Smaller store. As with just about every Goodwill I've been in their somewhat expensive. I go 1 or 2 times month because there's not alot of thrift stores here and I refuse to shop at Karms. You just have to know what you're willing to pay

Good clean store but everything I was interested in was priced way to high. Picked up a brass figurine and it was 14.99 went to a different goodwill and found the same one for 1.99.

They had some Avon dolls wanting$10.00 each and while I was there I looked them up on eBay they ranged from$8.00 to $9.80 we asked them if they could take less after showing them the price they told us no they couldn't change the price. So your store lost$30.00 in sales.

Hit or miss like any other goodwill. Much better organized than most. Prices are generally a little higher than some other goodwills but the weekly special color half off helps.
