My friends and I have been travelling around Florida, Louisianna, Mississippi and Tennesee for a couple of weeks now and the brisket sandwich that we got at Linita’s Deli the other day was without exaggerating the best meal we have had on our trip so far. The place looks very humble on the outside, but food’s outstandig and the owner’s very friendly, so if you’re in the area, please do yourself a favor and pop by!

Yep the good here was awesome!! Great prices hubby got catfish he had all ready eaten some off the plate pictured so the plates of his fish was generous amounts I just had fries got more than I could eat. Friendly service and felt very welcome. Even had a separate area you can dine in and eat at. So we will be going there more often!! Thanks ya!!

Stopped by for lunch during a country drive and this place was so good! They were super friendly and accommodating to my family and 2 kids. Had the shrimp po’boy, Reuben and cheeseburger and washed em down with a YooHoo and 6 pack of Miller Lite ponies. Lotta personality in this deli and we will definitely be back next time we’re in the area!

Update 5/27/23: We came again for our second float with Pinewood. Their food was amazing again. This trip I noticed how many things they offer inside the store. From little packs of bandaids, to floats, and sunglasses, this place really is the best little hidden gem. But what really stood out to me is that their genuine hospitality towards every single person that came through the door. They knew a number of people by name, but some they were even congratulating on the sale of a house (or something of that nature). You don't get that just anywhere. You know where you do get it? At home and that's exactly what Linita's feels like. Like coming home. Thank you.~~~•~~~•~~~•~~~•~~~•~~~Their food is ridiculously good. We were camping nearby and had sandwiches made for the river, and got breakfast to-go two days in a row. The biscuits and gravy were definitely my favorite - you get what you pay for, for sure! Pictured is their french toast - it took longer than all the other food, but well worth the wait. Both of our kids were able to eat on it for two meals and they usually don't eat left overs, but wanted to eat it twice. Don't skip on the fudge by register either, it's homemade, as well as the pies in the fridge. My husband almost ate the whole butterfinger pie by himself. This place is seriously a hidden gem.

I had the brisket and when the owner asked if it was good I said I didn't care for the way it tasted. The owner insisted I elaborate but when I did, he got very defensive and insulted me in front of my friends and wife. Also we sat there over an hour and my friend's wife never got her order. We asked several times about her food. We saw them give her order to someone they knew who had just walked in and ordered the same thing she was waiting on. We won't go back again.

Had the NY Strip special it was tender and well seasoned, the fries were crispy and the toast was perfect. Got the strawberry shortcake to go and it was wonderful. Best meal I've ever had at a gas station!

Rustic, country general store vibe.Courteous, helpful and efficient staff. Decent variety of snacks and light grocery items. Excellent selection of soft drinks, juices, waters, etc. Beer also. Iced tea dispensers. Cappuccino and milkshake machines.Light selection of fishing supplies.Full service deli and restaurant. Eat in or takeout.Tried the brisket quesadilla. Excellent. Very well done.Will be back to sample other unique menu options.Kid-friendliness: Saw many kid friendly meal options.

OH MY GOD!! this is a hidden gem hands down best food in the area the owner and staff are awesome friendly and talkative.. Great place for breakfast lunch or dinner... I had the catfish for lunch this time.. Comes with fries coleslaw and white beans 3 big pieces of catfish... No bake cookies and peanut butter fudge... This place has it all.. Including gas cigarettes drinks beer tackle and more...Parking: Large lotWheelchair accessibility: Gravel but shouldn't be much effort to access the building

Linitas was recommended by a family member that stopped there while on vacation. We stopped and ate on our way out of town from staying at Piney River Resort, and we are so glad we did. Service and food was great. This will be a must stop on our next time here.

We brought in 15 women after a birthday float. Food came out fast. The turkey Reuben was great. They even went out of their way to get candles so we could sing to the birthday girl. Overall, great people and food after a long day on the water. Thank you for the hospitality!

👍👍👍👍👍The prices are great for the amount of food you get. The quality of the food is even better. If you leave there still hungry, then you either have a tapeworm or you are a competitive eater. I usually take home almost half of whatever I order.I highly recommend Lanita's to everyone!!!!!👍👍👍👍👍

The ribeye steak sandwich was delicious. & filling. Onion rings were best I've had in some time. Pleasantly surprised by menu and that day's "specials." The homemade deserts looked delectable. (Just no room for one after the meal!) Offers an additional small dining room which added to our after church outing experience.

This place is great. We are staying at the rv park up the road. They came highly recommended. They did not disappoint. Nice little store with drinks and snacks and some household products. The food was great.Seriously the best brisket iv had in a very long time! French fries were really good too. The owner sat down and chatted with us for awhile. Super friendly staff.I dont write reviews, but the people here are so nice and the food was so good I had to write this one! 10 outta 10 highly recommend.

Absolutely AMAZING. They got our food out super fast and we were a party of 6 and we all got different orders, but every single one of us were blown away by how good the food was. 11/10 recommend.
