Just went into the dollar general in Niota tn on 2/3/24 @ 11:50 am with my grandbabies. I spend a lot of money at this location. As I repeatedly ask for someone else o come to the register a large woman finally walks around the corner. I asked for the restroom key and she rudely says , we don’t have one. I clearly see the large restroom sign. I assume the sign is for the employees so they can find it. 😡. I will definitely not return to this store ever.

I come to this store frequently especially every Saturday and I have gotten to know all the employees. They truly work hard and there’s always 2 employees working. Reading some of these reviews lets me know y’all don’t have a clue how they operate. They’re always stocking shelves so obviously they can’t be behind the cash register standing and waiting for a customer to check out. They come when you make them aware you’re there and ready. As far as the bathrooms, they caught 2 women doing drugs in there that left needles behind! Yes, it’s inconvenient to customers but they can’t monitor the restrooms 14 hrs a day either. Imagine if you or your child went to use the bathroom and touched fentanyl that was left behind from an addict. Better safe than sorry!

This is a hometown store, where everybody knows everybody. The staff are always friendly, helpful, greets you by name, or remembers that you hadn't been in the store for a while. The store is always clean, great prices, love the dollar aisle.

Niota tn dollar general store Only has one worker and there was never nobody at the cash register and you stand there waiting on them over 20min to get there they try to get you to use the self checkout if i was the manager i would fire them. Because they are too lazy to do their job and never help their customers.

At the niota dollar general thay are not nobody there that knows how to load money on paypal card I have to drive all way to athens at the dollar general to load money on my PayPal card and with them thay. Loaded so easy so why can't the ones in niota load it thay need some one to manage the niota store

If I could give 0 stars I would, none of the staff seems motivated and are constantly seen standing outside smoking or something....the manager "Lisa" or whatever (some biker looking chick, eww) has neglected to take my order two days in a row now. First time it was a smoke break, second time I waited while nobody was currently being taken care of and she just sat there on her phone.I am a local , and now I will deliberately never shop here again. THIS LOCATION IS TERRIBLEI also used to work for DG under Scott Strange. I see he has finally retired bc he would have NEVER allowed this lack of customer service!

I certainly don't mind wearing a mask but shouldn't the employees wear them also if it's required?Hanging off your ear doesn't help one bit.Otherwise, I enjoy shopping there.

Dollar store in Vonore they usually have what I need. The stores too crowded though with their items blocking the ile ways. If you buy any food please check the dates. I have found out of date foods many times. Once 2 boxes of snacks where outta date by a year!

I love shopping slick Dollar General. Staff is always courteous and willing to actually go with you and show you the product you're looking for you're also very knowledgeable about what they say I'll which is always very helpful.

Friendly staff. I just hate that Clover Valley changed the bottles of their One gallon distilled water to a thin cheap bpa plastic. (Update! After contacting DG about the water bottles, they changed back to the original thick plastic, non BPA). Thank you Dollar General!!!

It has the basic necessities. It's especially good for a quick trip to the store for milk, eggs, charcoal. Friendly service.

The one in Athens beside u-go for the most of the staff there rude not helpful at all but there's a couple in there that is omg helpful and nice one is young and the other one wears glasses and light brown hair
