I love this store! All of them are very clean, the store is very well lit, all items are well stocked. The employees are friendly and I love how they greet you when you're coming in the door! Kudos to Walgreens for excellently run stores.

Graveyard pharmacist definitely as kind As the shifts name. Be shocked if knowone dies from suffering awaiting there pic up if she is involved. 24 hours later never filled my script and blames lack of information she refused to take? Never had any protocols on day shift to what she requires to lift a finger to the keyboard. Wanting hippa violations to proceed? They take lunch every evening between 1 am and 2 am best of luck before and after. Wow when the invasion goes greenlight eeesh gonna be funny if your wanting to see the order of a new world.

Each and every time I deal with them, something as simple as transferring medication to CVS becomes an absolute nightmare. I really wonder how can someone unable to fax 5 prescriptions over is licensed to count and handle medication.And when you call them about it, they never even try to rectify their mistakes, it’s sad… really sad…

I'm a service connected vet. The VA sent me to a local ER who then sent my prescriptions for pneumonia to Walgreens.The Walgreens pharmacy wanted to charge $144 for Prednisone and antibiotics. While I was on the phone with the pharmacist coughing up blood and trying to breathe they refused to work with the VA to have the cost covered.Walmart ended up working with the VA so I could get my prescriptions to start healing this awful illness.I'll be following up with the BBB as well this nonsense has to stop.

My prescription for eye drops wasn't ready and I was told 15 to 20 minutes then I was told another 20 minutes then a pharmacist says oh its been ready for 10 minutes but you have to keep waiting in the long line of twelve people! They don't call your name and let you know when it's ready and let you pay for it.

Extremely poor service. Asked to speak to a Manager over a Available product and got shuffled from desk to pharmacy to desk then disconnected. Even shopping in the store is a disaster. Walmart would of been a way better choice

The absolute WORST pharmacy!!! I wish I could leave no stars! Anytime I get a prescription called in I sit in the drive thru for 30 minutes to an hour just to be told it'll be 30 minutes and to come back, this is of course hours after the prescription is called in. This Walgreens does not even begin to fill your prescription until you appear in person, and then they expect you to either wait around for 30 minutes, or waste your time and gas coming back. This has been an ongoing issue for several months now, I would recommend using any other pharmacy in Newport!

Horrible experience.!! Just left and the boy working the register actually asked me if I needed help out the door!! With sarcasm!! I am a Dasher with door dash and they were out of my customers items. I had customer on phone and door cash customer service on Party line. He was frustrated with me taking up his time in line. Super rude!! And the other older woman who was employee standing close was just as sarcastic.. I'll never step foot in there again!!! Any customer requests for pick up there will be declined also.

Apparently there isn't a manager available to deal with a problem with an employee who is treating customers like second class citizens and as soon as i look up the number i will be calling corporate..there is no excuse for treating people in this manner and I think the state should look into this location as well! Update: Thank you to the only pharmacy member who actually cared enough to even try to help and his name is Chris! We appreciate your help today so very much and know that you did everything possible in your position to help and again it was greatly appreciated!!.....As for Victoria you should NOT be dealing with the public at any place or time due to your poor attitude and work ethic...what if everyone told you that it's not their problem when you have any kind of issue anywhere or decided to hang up on you while you were still talking? Whether anyone from corporate sees this complaint on here or not doesnt matter because I will be personally calling corporate in Indiana and going to see if the state of Tennessee will do something about this situation as well..it has gone on for far too long and this is by no means my first complaint about you and others making things more difficult for disabled persons and I think before you ever have this kind of job again that you should be trained to work with the public instead of treating people less than human beings!! As far as the rest of what you specifically said to my fiancee this morning....I hope you're going to be there when we show up in person to file our complaint with the store, corporate and the state of Tennessee!!!

The pharmacy is horrible. They act like they are not healthcare workers and a vital part of my well being. They are rude and not helpful. I had a script transferred over because food city was out, BUT THEY WERE OUT TOO. Why take the script? The I had my doctor change it and when I got there they told me they did not take my insurance and it was over 400 for my medication. This over the course of an 8 hour day. When I couldn’t pay she let me take what I could afford, 3 pills cost 50$. I need my medication to function, she made me feel belittled and like my health care was not part of her job

The most unprofessional pharmacist I’ve ever witnessed ! Very rude and not at all helpful. I switched doctors and all of my meds were changed. The doctor had called them in to the Walgreens in Newport. On my way home I called to verify that they had received them and to see if there was any problems. The lady pharmacist got on the phone and began asking me why I switched doctors, who referred me to this doctor, and several other very personal and private questions. She refused to fill them until she spoke with my previous doctor to find out why I left him and ask about why I was referred to this doctor. I told her that I felt that was none of her business and that information was protected by hippa. I hung up and called another Walgreens and there was no problems and they had them ready with no questions or issues. I plan on calling the district or regional manager about this. I have no idea why she acted that way.

They always help us and are nice. I read a review about the outside of the building needing pressure washed. I’m not sure what that has to do with the service of the employees. But I have never had a bad experience at Walgreens Pharmacy or the store part. Billy is my favorite person. NMBC fan.😉

The pharmacy seems to be lacking the attitude of servicing the public and short answers n lack of care for the person that they are dealing with. I'm not sure if they are short handed or just got a new crew members that are not meant to work in customer service but if the experience issues that I have been dealing with doesn't improve for the better then I have to say that I along with other members of my family are going to be changing pharmacies because we don't deserve the disrespect we have been getting n the ordeals where they are not getting our orders filled like we have requested n having to wait for some orders to be fixed days at a time. I'm still waiting on a inhaler n foot cream to get filled going on 3weeks for the foot meds and a week for the inhaler to get worked up with my insurance company this pharmacy has went down hill extremely bad in the past 3 to 4 months n it's not something that I look forward to having to deal with anymore to get my meds cause I don't know what to expect when I get to the location will they have a drive thru open or both lanes closed n I have to get out n go in and then deal with the representative not be able to find the meds and wait for 15 or more minutes to wait until they are able to find my order so I can get checked out n be able to leave. This store is needing help or better training to handle the amount of customers that are being brought through the doors and windows to be allowed better service than what I have been getting here lately.

Sadly this is the only 24 hour pharmacy in Newport, and I have kids and it's convenient. Here recently they have been slacking on getting medicine out. I dropped off 2 prescription for pink eye ointment, Tuesday was told it wouldn't be ready till Friday. I took my prescription order back and attempted some place else, no luck. Wednesday I bring it back. Load and behold 15 minutes later I get one prescription for one of my kids. I was thankful for that they can share. Come today friday. I call for the last prescription since I'm out of the other one. Was told it's on back order till June 20th!! And lady proceeds to tell me the Dr at the hospital won't change it. We go back and forth a few times calling the hospital, and pharmacy. A new doctor changed the prescription to what they have on hand, and I can come pick it up. I get home and guess what. It's ointment same thing I had before, prescribed by the same doctor. I guess these people think I'm a idiot. How can you be on back order when you gave me the same thing? So many questions. I'm going to try a different pharmacy in the future. Good thing it was not life or death.

3 stars because the employees do try, problem is they are so short staffed, everyone is running around like a chicken with its head cut off. That have no time to help the customer, it took 3 years after moving here to get our address changed in their system. Prices are outrageous, why is the same insulin that's 35 bucks at Walmart cost over 80 dollars here,and the same Chinese needles are double the price here. Walgreens is a bad company, but in today's corporate takeover choices are limited.

Spent more time at pharmacy then dr office everytime they said come back in about 15 minutes over two hours waiting in car with two sick kids WON'T BE BACK!!!! Then they lost a prescription and had to wait the next day for it.Then they lose identity on child filling prescription for, said she wasnt even in the system, most awful experience of my life with customer service.Then after all of this they lost her prescription and left me to contact doctor next day to get filled again if they dont lose it again.Ii am very much considering reporting HIPPA violations.

The "Contact Us" link doesn't work on the website so I'm here to say my piece.Backstory- I've been prescribed Adderall XR (generic brand) for over 12 years of my life to treat crippling ADD. 6 of those 12 have been through this Walgreens.Recently, within these last 4 months, they have swapped their generic provider for a version that is a bright orange capsule filled with white beads, instead of the old orange ones. This version doesn't work like the old one. Instead of feeling like an operational part of society, I feel zombified and brain dead. My grades and overall performance of tasks have dropped significantly, I don't feel all that present, and the people around me have noticed as well. I'm not sure what the new version has or lacks but it is NOT the same medication even though the prescription has been the same for years. Since they seem to not really care, I will be swapping my pharmacy provider soon but I thought it was worth informing both the public and Walgreens of this very serious issue.

If i could give 0 stars i would! They short my medicine multiple times! Talk to manager they call me a lier apparently they think im to stupid to count! Most all workers r rude! I have experienced eye rolls for simple needs for what they r there for! Most expensive if u pay out of pocket!

I have 2 refills on my medicine and they aren't willing to fill them or give me an emergency supply - apparently the employees must be wanting to have 6 months worth of seizure medicine and let me be without - Walgreens is a money racket and a huge joke here in this city ....I am craving a higher intelligence

They told us it’d be ready in 35 minutes , then we came back and said they didn’t have enough information to give us and didn’t tell us this the first time making my girlfriend that’s been through the windshield of her vehicle wait for her pain meds all the much longer thank you for making us jump through more hoops and being snobby about the whole process, never have this problem from Walmart pharmacy!

This place is terrible from waiting over 3 hour's for medication to get filled and rules nobody else seems to have it's just a place that should be last resort when nobody else is open or has the medicine you need for the most part there employees are friendly other than two pharmacists That were hateful acting like I was a addicted trying to score when a doctor had wrote the script and thought I needed it if you're buying toliet paper or the store part it's ok but avoid the pharmacy
