The manager, Judy, stopped my 17 year old girl from being abducted by at Macedonian man with a Washington driver license who claimed to be a truck driver. Judy knows our family and felt something wasn’t right. Plus my daughter knew she could talk to Judy and she would help. The Newport Police came and questioned him but couldn’t do anything since he hadn’t touched my daughter. I am so grateful for Judy’s quick action and the Newport Police Dept for helping protect my girl.

Outstanding. In the midst of renovation and the diner is putting out a great meal. Staff is always friendly. They provide that "down home" feeling.

Absolutely unacceptable! Literally every guest in the store in line with one cashier, one worker walks past to go outside to smoke her cigarette and the other just sitting in the office! This was so unacceptable, but everything was stocked and organized for once. Terrible terrible management.

This location had an ok selection of items but like mainly places is lacking workers to manage long check out lines. They had a lot of boxes out on my trip for stocking and some shelves were awaiting the replenishment. The over $1.25 section was pretty messy and nothing there really stood out as a great buy. Not really enough workers to say if their customer service was helpful if I needed anything but they got me through the line with no problems.

I usually enjoy trips to Dollar Tree. Not this time. Some isle you could hardly get a cart through for all the stock to be put on shelves. With them changing price ranges and stock. Then to find stuff I needed was another problem. I had forgotten about everything was went up to $1.25 and higher only after being in the mess an hour. Trying to get down each isle was impossible so I checked out 2hours after entering and$148.00 less in my purse. LOL

The dollar tree has always been an "everything's a dollar" store. Thus the name... The Dollar Tree! Well I'm sure everyone has heard that prices went up to $1.25 several months ago but... And this is the part that got the other 2 stars taken away, they are selling items for $2, $3, $5, and maybe more I didn't keep searching to find out. The whole enjoyment of even going in those stores is the ease of knowing what each item costs without question and therefore making it easy to keep track of your spending. Small children that are just learning money and counting knew that everything in the store was $1 and they could get 9 things if they had $10 but now it's all changed and I gotta say I'm not liking it at all!!

I love it.12-01-17. I usually love shopping here but yesterday was very unprofessional. The employees were talking bad about other we employees and just being loud and obnoxious.. I felt really bad for the ones they were talking about becausebI know they had to hear them. They were also rude to the customers.. I guess it was because of the holidays. I won't let this one visit stop me but I won't keep shopping there if their attitudes don't change.12-18-17 It was a much better visit. They need more help. I love to shop here.

One register open. 11 people standing in line. Several customers walk out just setting their merchandise where the stood. The ladies directly in front of me left her cart at the end cash wrap behind the clerk and walked out a cussing 10 min later the line has not moved at all. Myself and two customers behind me dump our selections into that first cart never saying a word we left. I'm guessing my order was at least $40 as we're the 2 other orders so my guess is your company lost $120 in less than 10 minutes

Stood in line almost 20 minutes. One cashier, who requested help twice but never got any. So I sat over 20 items down and left. Needs a manager and employees who are willing to work for their pay instead of hide out in the office.

The cashier sneezed in her hands multiple times and did not use any form of sanitation. She kept sneezing and ringing up my items and never once sneezed into her arm at the bend. As well her mask was continuously only covering her mouth not her nose.

Great place to shop. Not many ppl work there. I get the same cashier kat every time. Love her personality. She very nice, helpful, and respectful. Need more employees like her.

I love the Dollar Tree & though this one isn't a bad store there are some things that I dislike. They don't seem to restock sold out items or they do so very slowly & it might be due to the fact that they are short staffed. Beyond that I only other complaint is more of a want than an issue; I've been to several Dollar Trees that sold random comic book bundles & keep wondering if this is because of an order from those stores GM's or if it just happens to be what that store was sent by corporate.Regardless this store is going to continue to get my business as they do often have items that I don't feel bad about taking/breaking apart to use for crafts, games, & cosplay props. If you go, check out the glitter pool in the toy section...no reason, it's just there.[EDIT: They have redone the entire floor in peel-n-stick tile so the glitter pool is no more]

I was just in this store and the customer service was terrible. When you open the register and say I can help the next in line that's who's next. A women went to go around and the cashier was very rude and did not help her. Then they had the nerve to talk about the woman after she left. Wow what Great Service....Not...

It's always a delight visiting the Dollar tree tons of options and you can't beat the price. Got to be careful going in the middle of the day in Newport cuz you got your shoulder elderly there kind of slow you down if you're trying to get in and out but there was no line today so I was thankful for that.

Way back in the beginning before this pandemic issue this store was pretty good..Then this issue that we are all in keeps the store in chaos.i do like what they have, just have to work a little bit harder.
