I ask the older man at the counter to help me look for a vitamin (cvs brand). I didn’t see any. I’m hoping he can help me. I also, ask him if he had anymore in the stockroom. He said NO, the man just walked away without looking for me.If these are the people u hire! well good luck. I will not be back. Bad experience, why don’t people help each other out when they need help??

Update:Since my complaint to corporate office, the woman I complained about below, it appears she has been banned from directly waiting on customers at the counter. This is a great move by CVS. Everyone else there is friendly and knows their job.Previously wrote:The woman who waited on me was taking over 10 minutes for me to get my covid test kits, so since I was already in a hurry and she already had my two prescriptions ready, I kindly told her that she could skip the covid tests and I'll just take my prescriptions. She said it's ready and it will be just a moment. Then she took a call and completed some 5 minute long conversation with whoever it was instead of putting them on hold. Then another customer walked up and the employee STOPPED on my covid tests, bypassed me and waited on the other customer. So I stated something like "because I asked you to skip the test kits, you are making me wait longer?" To which she replied "now you are going to wait even longer". I said "you had my two prescriptions ready here in front of me and you are now making me wait. She replied "Now you have to wait for the pharmacist, I'm not dealing with you." Yes I admit I was getting more rude sounding, but it started out with me being perfectly cordial. She just took the one thing I said the wrong way and the situation escalated.This same woman is simply ALWAYS in a bad mood, just look at how she treats other customers also. They are often understaffed and the wait is long but this took me about 40 minutes for my 2 prescriptions that were ready to go! And as for the wait, there was no one in front of me in line when I got there! Still, 40 minutes and I'm not exaggerating. She needs a major attitude adjustment or maybe a better fix would be to get a job somewhere else if she hates her job so much.Oh I forgot, she DID have time to talk to her son? and grandchild? when they went up to the other part of the counter.

This Pharmacist thinks he's smarter than doctors. Wanted clarification to fill my script because he wasn't satisfied with why the doctor wrote it. I thought a Pharmacist job was to fill prescriptions that real doctors write out for their patients. CVS just lost a 30 year customer because " DR Pharmacist MD " didn't want to give a cancer patient his Meds.

This is by far the worst CVS I have ever used. I’ve lived in 6 different states and always used CVS for our prescriptions but this is the worst one. Takes for ever to pickup a prescription at the drive thru or inside and hardly never anyone at the window or inside. I have drove off several times because of waiting so long with just one car in front of me. Probably going to switch to Walgreens. They can have 5 cars in front of you and be faster than this store with one car

Went to hospital got a script for 3 Xanax & depression medicine for an anxiety attack that took my heart out of normal rhythm. The Indian guy says no I can't fill it. There's no address on the script. He told hospital he didn't feel comfortable with me even though I've been with CVS for 15 years!!Over 2 hours of back and forth communication with hospital and this pharmacist. Hospital said he's known in the area to make trouble for people for no reason! Long story short! Do not go here!

I'll start out by saying that I'm not a huge fan of CVS-- I'll make an exception this time, we had great service. We're "out of towners" and my 3yo son was really sick. After a visit at the Fast Pace Health a few minutes down the street, I drove straight to CVS and went to the pharmacy. I told them his name and DOB and within less than 10 minutes, his prescription was ready. I'll also mention that they were in the process of closing down for lunch when I walked up to the counter. I would definitely recommend using this CVS if your in the area and need something!

Pulled in at about 8 minutes until 6 pm there was a customer in front of me who was finished being waited on until 3 minutes after 6 pharmacist pulled drawer looked at me but no contact. Now I have to make another trip back. They should at least put a sign up saying closed or last customer we will be serving today. Not just leaving you set there. Looking at other pharmacies any suggestions?

If I could give them a negative I would. Let's start with the lack of smiling. Everyone in the pharmacy looks angry and just barely tolerant of the customer. The last time I was in, there was a problem with my prescription. Because it was seven minutes to lunch time they could not be bothered to try and resolve the problem. Today we were told to come anytime after 3pm to pick up our prescription. At 3:57 we were informed that it would be twenty minutes if we wanted to wait. Being I drive 35 minutes to get there we were forced to wait...but it will be the last time. We will no longer deal with CVS. I highly suggest all customers change pharmacy's and send a message to corporate.

Came from Indiana to the Popcorn Sutton jam. Forgot our toiletries bag that had my meds. I just needed a couple days worth till I got home. They ended up doing a vacation override and refilled what was due anyway !! Excellent work !!

It’s no secret that they rarely answer their phones but today, after being on hold for 20 minutes (and days of no answers prior), someone picks up the phone, says “you’ll have to come in, the window is closed” and hangs up! That’s not what I was calling about! They act like they’re the only people with busy jobs and the attitudes of many at the pharmacy suck! I’ve had to ration my prescriptions because my pick up date keeps getting pushed back further and further thanks to their inability to simply fill a prescription or pick up the dang phone! That’s not okay! And contrary to what they may think, they’re NOT the only people with busy lives, long days, or tough jobs.

Waited over 24 hours for my prescription. Came back in today and they told me to wait another hour. I have a terrible case of poison ivy and just NEED my cream. I drove an hour here yesterday and bac@ and now had to do the same again today AND wait another hour after 24 hours my prediction has been called in. I should have had them drop off to any other pharmacy in the area besides CVS.

This about the store in Newport TN. The pharmacy is a joke. If you're thinking of going here I'd think again. I've been going here for almost a year and only 2 TIMES (2 TIMES) have I ever got my medicine within 30 mins or even an hour. And that was when I first started going there. The majority of the time I have to wait at least 2 hours. I call and they say it's really busy and as soon as they open they are covered up. Well I'm EXTREMELY UPSET with them because waiting this long is ridiculously. Walgreens and other major pharmacies aren't this bad. This will be my LAST TIME coming here.

The service was quick and convenient. What P____ me off. The guy that helped me at the counter I'm guessing he was a pharmacist. ( had on a white coat). Apparently he hasn't heard of HIPAA. He blurted out the names of the medications I was picking up loud enough to be heard throughout the store. Respect people's privacy.

We truly enjoyed our visit there today. Everyone was extremely pleasant and helped us find what we were looking for, plus we found a lot of great deals as well. The store was immaculate and very well stocked. We will be back for sure. Also the pharmacy was fast on filling my meds and extremely courteous. Thank you Amy, Jodi and staff. After dealing with Walgreens....this was a dream!!!

Pharmacist on duty today is rude, cuts you off when you try to communicate with him. Will not answer phone in pharmacy for patient waiting for scripts, then have to use Dr line to get any help at all then pharmacist gets GOD COMPLEX AND LETS YOU NO NOTHING AND HE KNOWS IT ALL. VERY BAD REVIEW, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO OTHERS.

I understand that a pharmacy is always a non stop business. When you call to speak with someone in the pharmacy about your medical needs and you CAN NEVER get anyone to answer IT'S BEYOND AGGRAVATING. Especially when you have called several times during the business hours and still no answer. Do they turn their ringer off??? Even when you call the front on the store and have them transfer you to the pharmacy and STILL NO ANSWER 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

They were very prompt getting my prescriptions ready @ the pharmacy. The staff is professional and polite. They do require a face covering and all the staff is wearing them as well. Their prices on most products beat most of the other pharmacies or @ least are in the same range... great place, would highly recommend.

This is the best CVS in East tn. If u live in Newport and you don't shop here you should. The deals you can get are unreal. But the people who work here work very hard to be good at their job. They always have the best down to earth attitudes and will go the extra mile to help you with anything, they never act to busy or like they have btr things to do. Even though they do trust me THEY ARE VERY BUSY. This store is always neat and clean, the shelves are stocked, and the bathroom smells good and has toilet paper. I REALLY DO 💜 MY CVS.

I called to check on a prescription, had the phone muted because I was on hold so long, when the lady answered I took a second trying to unmute the phone and she hung up on me immediately. Very unprofessional, and I had to call back and go through the whole process again.

Poor customer service.. can never get a timely call thru to anyone. (Called twice yesterday and one of the wait times on call was 12 minutes still never spoke to anyone. Other was more than 9 mins.also didnt get to speak to anyone).. wait times often ridiculous for prescriptions..I helped urge my parent to become a customer here..pharmacy..for his prescriptions monthly..he cant read hardly anything at all nor write..they do not offer extra courteous service to him and makes it extremely hard on him.. they have almost gotten to be a joke whereas years back were so much better than this to their customers!
